The girls at Idle creek are amazing ...Our reception was beautiful,the food was great ,the banquet room is beautiful ...I highly recommend for any large event especially wedding.

I could not of picked a better venue/caterer, Dayle and her team devoted so much time to make sure I had a great wedding, food and experience. I could not thank them enough.

Jeanann was the woman who we made almost all of our plans through. She was so helpful and nice and willing to listen to what we wanted. We used the center for our reception only. Catering and bar was through them. The food was delicious!
Jeanann really went above and beyond in our minds to help us out. When we met with her to get an idea of how much of the room we needed and we wanted the tables and cake and everything set up, she gave us a tour of the banquet area and such, and even showed us a reception that was already set up as a smaller room (mint green and chocolate brown go awesome together i must say!) She even had a book full of photos of other receptions to use ideas from. One which we used was a fruit table that had a heart carved into a watermelon on top of everything!
The entry way is beautiful too, tall glass windows, greenery, sitting area, guestbook table...
This place is also a golf course and a restaurant.
We had a little trouble with timing and Jeanann noticed that it was getting really close to time for people to show up and the centerpieces were still in the cooler. So she took it upon herself to pull all of our flower centerpieces out of the cooler and onto the tables. Life saver!
I would recommend this place for any special occasion or event!

Only had our reception here. It is a nice place to have a reception if you have a large number of people coming.

Overall Idle Creek delivered for our wedding day. Our ceremony was held outside and they had several areas ready to offer. The reception hall was good sized and was able to accommodate most what we were planning on doing initially. The cost of the venue itself and what they offer was unbeatable. With any wedding the highest cost for us was the meal which was provided by the venue and it was worth EVERY PENNY. My wife and I got the choice of anything on the menu and our guests had Chicken Parmesan and honey glazed ham, as well as a kids buffet. We didn't receive a single complaint. Our night was beautiful and they work well with outside vendors. Our only complaint was that our planner at the venue changed without our knowledge and no information was passed to us or the day-of coordinator.

We used Idle Creek as our reception venue and were overall pleased with our choice. The space available is large and there is a fair amount of choice available regarding layout, tables, and linens used. The waitstaff, security, and bar staff are friendly and courteous. The food is standard wedding fare. There is ample parking on site.
