    Perfect event venue

    We had our rehearsal dinner at Il Fornaio in Coronado and it was PERFECTION! From the start, everyone was wonderful to work with. Very professional and easy to communicate with. Lorri and Jenny are great! The food was fantastic (we had family from Italy and they LOVED the food and wine) and the service was so professional and thoughtful, looking out for everyone’s needs. And the views! If you’re looking for a great place to hold an event and really wow your guests, while making the planning process smooth and easy, then go with Il Fornaio! We highly recommend it!

    We booked the private room for our rehearsal dinner. We had maybe about 26 people. It was slightly tight but it was fine. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was beautiful and the food was great! The room also had a great view!

    Could not have asked for a better venue to have my wedding reception at! We had a fairly small wedding (55 people) and had the outside patio. The view was so beautiful and the ambiance could not have been better. Food was delicious, we got a lot of compliments! The event coordinator, Jennifer, was always super nice and helpful! So was the General Manager, Luca and servers! Very happy with Il Fornaio!

    We really lucked out by finding Il Fornaio for our ceremony, we received true value in every dollar we spent there. Jennifer the event planner was incredible and always got back to us in a timely manner even with the most ridiculous questions. The location was incredible with the back drop of DT San Diego the view could not be beat, we even got a firework show in the bay, that everyone thought we orchestrated! The service was AMAZING! The waiters and waitresses were courteous, friendly and really made our guests comfortable. I highly highly recommend Il Fornaio if you plan on having a small to mid-size wedding. With 71 guests everyone had enough room to move around and plenty of room for a dance floor once some tables were moved. It was the best day of my life and Il Fornaio was instrumental in creating the most perfect day.

    We chose Il Fornaio's Coronado location and reserved the Azzura Room with a fabulous view of the San Diego city skyline. Danielle was fabulous with helping us plan and very accomodating with any questions or requests. During our reception, the wait staff was very attentive and all of our guests were very happy with the food, drinks and service. For a small group, this place is very highly recommended! My husband and I even went back a few days later for lunch on their patio - again, a great time!

    Jennifer was amazing to work with. She answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to make our dinner perfect. She was so knowledgeable about how much to order and what we would need. Although she was not there for our actual event, she made sure we were taken care of!
