  How lucky we were to find Il Fornaio!

  How lucky we are that we stumbled upon Il Fornaio! Planning a wedding and rehearsal dinner from out of state can seem overwhelming and stressful. They made it easy and fun. I had to let go of some details and trust the staff, which was difficult for me, and I was so, so pleasantly surprised with EVERYTHING. The food was amazing, the venue beautiful and the service friendly and impeccable. I can't thank Il Fornaio enough for making the evening amazing! If I were to do it all over, I wouldn't change a thing!

  We are an older couple who held our wedding reception at Il Fornaio's Enoteca. Everything could not have gone more smoothly! Our event was perfect from beginning to end. The set up, the food, and the service were all fantastic and exceeded our (high) expectations. In particular, Lisa proved an invaluable resource for us; she was organized, efficient, friendly and a joy to work with. Thank you to everyone at Il Fornaio!

  We had the best time! Everyone was so accommodating, from the manager letting us move things around to the fun bartenders - you know Robert, he's my favorite and the wait staff was amazing - Lisa was so helpful from the get go - so huge thank you for the group effort, everyone had the best time! xoxo

  Lisa Kryczkowski was just amazing! Thank you Lisa for your assistance in our event. It was just perfect and you always responded to my questions and concerns immediately. The menu choice, quality of the food and servers were just as great. The restaurant was a nice place to hold our wedding rehearsal dinner. I couldn't imagine it turning out any better! My friends and family commented many times how great the evening was.

  Lisa was wonderful to work with. She responded quickly and listened to our specific needs. Staff was engaged and supportive but never intrusive during the dinner. We got lots of compliments from our guests on both the venue and the food. We highly recommend!

  The staff at Il Fornaio, Del Mar were just awesome! We had our son's rehearsal dinner there in October and Lisa K. worked with me on making this a very special event for our family over the course of several months. Lisa was very responsive to every email, question as we planned this event from out of town. The food was excellent and the staff servers were all so accommodating! The view there in the room overlooking the Pacific was beautiful. The staff at this venue really cares about making events memorable and successful!

  Phil and I had our wedding there in May and had the absolute best experience. Lisa was amazing and very communicative throughout the whole process. She helped me plan above and beyond and thought of things that I wouldn't have even thought of. The whole staff was amazing and our wedding was flawless.   You won't find a better venue, a better value for your money, nor a more responsive team, anywhere! We held a wedding reception for 108 people there, and couldn't be happier! Following a ceremony in nearby Seagrove Park, we used their outdoor bar (Enoteca del Fornaio) for a private cocktail hour that included fabulous hor d'oeuvres while watching a spectacular sunset over the ocean. From there we went into the enclosed patio, which was bathed in glowing candlelight for dinner and dancing. I was a little skeptical that they could pull off a menu with the three dinner options we had chosen (filet mignon, salmon and butternut squash ravioli), because the guests didn't have to order in advance (which was nice for them, and for us as well). Well, not only did they pull this off, the food was delicious and perfectly cooked, and all 108 guests received their meals within minutes of each other! I don't know how they did it, but they did. Kudos to Il Fornaio and their entire staff, with special thanks to Lisa, their banquet manager. She is highly professional and incredibly knowledgeable. With a smile on her face and the patience of a saint, she was right there with us every step of the way through months of planning, and even during the reception itself. It was a perfect evening from start to finish - a night the bride, the groom and everyone in attendance, will never forget.

  I recently had my sons rehearsal dinner here in Oct for about 150 people and couldn't have been more pleased with entire experience!! We worked with Lisa whom was very professional, responsive, and enjoyable to work with throughout the whole planning and execution.
  Everything was top notch from the setting, food, service and creative assistance to, of course, the unbeatable location/views!!
  Would recommend highly using them for any event!

  Lisa was phenomenal to work with. Unfortunately, we faced some challenges totally out of her control when the deck space was about to undergo renovation. Yet, she kept pushing on our behalf, ultimately saving us some money but more importantly, delivering the most beautiful wedding day possible (although she admittedly did not control the gorgeous weather). Lisa was always professional, recommended excellent items, and worked tirelessly to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch. Moreover, day of, she was extremely attentive throughout the complete affair, and stepped in to help wherever it was needed. You can't go wrong here.

  I would highly recommend Il Fornaio Del Mar for your event! I worked with Lisa and she was amazing! The venue, service and food was exceptional!! If you are looking for a pretty venue with a California ocean view I would suggest you meet with Lisa at Il Fornaio Del Mar. She will help you make your event just the way you envision it. I feel working with a restaurant for your event gives you a better value than hotels. Typically you only have a minimum to hit versus having to pay to use a space. Your guests will have a great time at Il Fornaio and it is located right in the heart of Del Mar close to several hotels and the beach.
