I knew from day one that when planning my wedding IC by Shanelle had to be the team I use. Ever since seeing her blog and watching her work I knew she would be the one. So said and so done we choose Shanelle to be the wedding coordinator for my recent wedding 9/7/15 and she was exceptional. Her professionalism, her flexibility, her experience, her demeanor is so calming and that is what every bride needs. I can't thank her enough for being at my side every step of the way.

I came across Shanelle's blog after researching weddings done at the particular venue that I was having my own wedding. My mom was so impressed that she insisted we call her for her assistance. I have not regretted it one bit! As someone who's never planned a thing in their life I needed tons of help and Shanelle handled anything that I had questions about....and I certainly had a lot of questions! We were always in constant communication, as I was planning the wedding from out of state, and she made my timeline of handling things so much smoother and stress free. The hecticness of the day of the wedding was eased with Shanelle handling everything. I didnt have to worry about a thing. Everyone at Imaginative Creations was a pleasure to work with and I wound up having the wedding of my dreams, which would not have been possible without them!

I worked with Jenny from start to finish of my wedding. She was so sweet, friendly and easygoing to work with. She planned my bridal shower and coordinated my wedding. I wanted someone to direct the bridal party on details and she did it with ease. I had the perfect Breakfast at Tiffany's theme bridal shower and many were amazed by the layout. This girl outdone herself with the details that were close to my heart.

Both events were coordinated to perfection. She was always within eye's reach and calming when a problem arise. She stayed with me overnight to make sure all details were taken care of. She managed contacting the vendors, to staying in contact with her assistant Rochelle to make sure everything was being executed at the venue while she was with me. Rochelle worked very well with the bridal attendant Leslie at the venue making sure everything was to my liking.

i was concerned of needing three people that day but these two girls made the day run so smoothly with my 125 guests. So attentive and so kind all throughout the day. They followed me after the wedding to the hotel to make sure I was setup and had all of my items. I was totally amazed by their top service of taking care of their bride and groom. I felt like a Queen and my husband felt like a King!

I had the most beautiful wedding ever and it was well taken care of by Jenny and Rochelle.

My name is Tracey Woodard; and I am the Founder & CEO of the Jubilee Enrichment Foundation in Brooklyn, New York. On June 4, 2014, I had a Senior Prom Makeover Extravaganza in which Ms. Shanelle Walker served as Coordinator. Although the event was not a wedding, Ms. Walker handled everything with the utmost professionalism, precision and care- as though it were. She strategically organized every detail of the event; and made sure that we hit our itinerary target times.

Ms. Walker went above and beyond the call of duty (Logistics); even standing in as a server and bar matron to help things remain running steady! Where else can you find such awesome flexibility and care in a Vendor?? - The answer is NO WHERE!! :)

Excitingly enough, my event featured live news coverage and Shanelle made a concerted effort to keep the venue as clean and clear as possible to avoid having the news capture any signs of untidiness! This was her clever; and awesome idea and it was absolutely brilliant! Everyone and everything looked amazing on camera- thanks to Shanelle's incomparable logistics / coordination expertise!

Ms. Walker's services are the creme de la creme and I HIGHLY recommend her for any type of Extravaganza:) She is insanely organized; and has a very sharp / keen eye for details!

Shanelle and Manny (her assistant) were amazing. The day of my wedding they seamlessly put out minor fires (and I was none the wiser until weeks after the wedding did I find out I failed to make a place card for a family member and she thankfully made sure guest didn't walk away with the florist's mirrors) kept me beautiful, and stayed with me until the last moment of the night. In the weeks before the wedding, Shanelle pleasantly but firmly kept me on a schedule and was alway available to answer endless questions. She is great about anticipating need and kept me sane. She is personable yet professional. She knows how to handle pushy venues and has great suggestions for wedding decor, vendors, or family situations. One of my fave moments was her assistant patiently fixing my dress until I was picture perfect. She was incredibly efficient but what makes her stand out is her incredible spirit and attentiveness to you as a woman- not just a bride.

Shinelle is more then a great wedding planner. She's a counselor and a friend, she's extremely professional and she's there to help guide you every step of the way. She knows how to read her clients and she helps plan according to their personality. From the start of our planning Shinelle was able to provide us an abundance of venues and vendors. She also caused us to save a lot of money for the venue because her negotiation skills. The day of she truly held it down with her staff which was very helpful through the whole day. Shinelle made sure
she was by my side the whole night through. If you are looking for someone to help you save money, and thoroughly plan out your wedding, ICS is what you are looking for.

Shanelle and Jenny did an amazing job coordinating my wedding. I have a hard time relinquishing control and after having a planning who ran off with my deposit, I was relieved to find a team that I can trust. Shanelle and Jenny felt like family. I am almost sad that we have to part ways.Even after the wedding, I reach out to her regarding items I thought I miss and she contacted a vendor, AMAZING. She was extremely kind and responsive to all my needs. Every time I asked a question she had an answer within minutes. Jenny her assistant was a huge help, she coordinated my rehearsal because Shanelle was coordinating another wedding. She was well informed and punctual. Imaginative Creations is THE best!!

I hired Shanelle for my wedding and l was totally satisfied with the services I received. As a first time bride, there were certain things that l didn't think about that Shanelle had to remind me of. She was always on top of me to meet deadlines and to make sure everything was in order in terms of my vendors, bridal party, and my personal things. When l had questions and inquires, l would reach out to Shanelle and she would ALWAYS respond promptly. A majority of the vendors that she recommended to us to use we did and we were satisfied.

On the wedding day, l was relieved to have Shanelle at the house helping me get ready because as a first time bride, certain parts of the dress l didn't know how to put on, also my bridesmaids couldn't figure it out either! Shanelle's presence made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I wasn't as nervous. At the venue, She and her staff labored and toiled from the very beginning to the end of the reception.

If anyone is considering whether to hire Shanelle and/or her staff, I would say it is definitely worth the money. It would be less stress and aggravation for you as you plan for the wedding but also on the day of the wedding. :-)

I'm so glad that I found Shanelle to be my day-of wedding coordinator! It was always my intention to do most of the planning myself, but I knew I needed a professional to advise and watch out for me. She checked in on my progress regularly and was quickly responsive to every question I had. She recommended several vendors for me that fit my budget and I was very happy to rely on her experience working with them. Closer to the wedding she handled an amazing volume of emails from my mother and I. She was always calm and handled every last minute detail gracefully. Our priest told me later that she was a really lovely woman and I heartily agree.
During the reception she and her kind assistant Manuel were always attentive to any need that me and my family had. I merely had to look at either of them and they were checking to see if I needed anything. They took care of everything!

Shanelle was amazing. We originally contacted her when my husband and I were first engaged, but decided not to continue with her planning services because I wanted to plan our special day on my own. Additionally were supposed to receive day of service help from another source. Long story short through the year of our planning Shanelle continued to reach out to me, not to push a service but to sincerely find out how I was doing planning this momentous day. You can't ask for anything better then that!!!

So three weeks before our November 11 wedding, my husband and I are over whelmed, the person that was supposed to help us became unreliable. What were we to do! So we decided to call Shanelle, and we explained the situation and told her we needed a day of planner for our special day. She was more then willing to help us, it was a blessing.

Shanelle was present for the rehearsal, and maintained order through the process. I can honestly tell you that, I felt a load lift off of me the day of the rehearsal and the wedding. And besides the joy of getting married that the second best feeling a bride can feel on her wedding day. The day of the wedding was perfect, since I really had everything mapped out she was excellent at executing the plan.

The day was perfect, and she had a major role. If you need a planner of any kind Shanelle is the person to contact. I love to plan, but even as a bride you need to give the reigns to someone that you trust and most importantly professional.

What can I say, a long time friend and a great event planner, Shanelle did her thing. She provided to me and my husband, her 11th hour service where her staff got involved the day of the wedding.

Although we didn't get a full service package from her where she planned from beginning to end, I saw how very attentive and detail-oriented she was. She treated me as if she would any other client and business came over relationship. She wasn't even supposed to work that day and she took her energy and time to make sure everything went smoothly. I'm really grateful for that. She even got the venue to give us an extra 20 minutes of party time. She stayed on top of the venue staff to make sure they did their job correctly and attended to bridal party the way they should have from the beginning. If you want someone who is going to make sure everything will work in your favor, hire shanelle.

Her head coordinators are very well trained as well. One of the them took charge for the day and he, Manuel Williams, was just as attentive as she was. He was literally running around like a chicken with his head cutt off...lol, but it showed his passion for the job and to hold things together. He has a great personality and would work well with anyone...even the toughest of brides ;-). He is also very patient, which tended to be the best quality in all of my vendors.

I was referred to Shanelle and her team through another vendor for my August 3rd wedding and was thoroughly impressed. Although my venue claimed to have a "Day of Coordinator" on-site, I am so glad I decided to go with Shanelle and her team. From a customized, day of schedule, contacts for transportation at every price point, ideas for the night of, assistance during the rehearsal, to suitcases filled with steamers and sewing kits, the IC team really went above and beyond my expectations! To this day, guests are still raving about how seamless and organized the wedding was thanks to Imaginative Creations. I am forever grateful to Shanelle and her team and will definitely recommend them to future brides.

I can’t say enough great things about Imaginative Creations, which provided Day-of-coordination for my wedding on July 20th. I didn't plan on having a wedding planner because I was on a tight budget. I however, never say never without completely exhausting my options. I took to wedding wire to research wedding planners and during my search I came across Imaginative creations and a handful of other prospective planners. I emailed or called all the planners that seemed promising based on reviews but once they heard my budget they, pretty much nicely and in some cases not so nicely, told me I couldn’t afford them. Of all the planners that I contacted, Shanelle who responded promptly was the nicest and most sincere. During our first phone conversation we spoke at length about my budget and my options. At the end of the conversation I told her that a wedding planner may not fit into my budget. Fast forward months later (when the thought of a planner had long been forgotten I receive an unexpected call from Shanelle wanting to know how I was doing and how the planning was coming along. We had a great chat, like old friends, and she provided advice and suggestions. She asked if I had given anymore thought to a planner and I told her I still didn't think we could afford a planner. We kept in touch and along the way we revisited my budget and she suggested an arrangement that would allow me to have a planner for only the day of the wedding. I was still not sure I could swing it budget wise but I said I'd think about it. We spoke a few times after this and as my husband got to know more about Shanelle he started to soften to the idea of finding a way to fit a coordinator into the budget. We both felt that Shanelle was already selflessly invested in our well-being and the success of our wedding and that if this wasn't a testament to how wonderful a person she is and how dedicated her company would be, we didn't think anything else could convince us. We decided that we didn't want to do our wedding without Shanelle and her team and we are beyond happy we made that decision. Shanelle is very attentive, organized, dedicated, professional and overall a great person. She introduced me to vendors that worked with my budget while providing exceptional service (hair, make-up and flowers). On the day of my wedding Shanelle and her team were like guardian angels. Everything went smoothly! Shanelle knows how to make you feel calm even when it seems like your world is falling apart. She was ever on hand to make sure I was looking and feeling my best. She was so on top of things (I still don't know all the things that happened behind the scenes). My family fell in love with her personality and her professionalism. Both my mom and mother-in-law can't stop commending her services and I've heard them exclaim on occasion that if they had to plan a party they'd love to have Shanelle or at the least someone like her and her team to take care of things. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
To Shanelle and her team at Imaginative Creations, thank you for making my day so special. You've added a little more sunshine to my life and that of my husband’s. You were not simply vendors but angels in disguise and we love you for it. Keep up the exceptional work and we pray for your continued blessings.

Would not have had a wonderful day without Shanelle

Although I hired ICS for "Day of Coordination" services I felt like she was there from day 1. She is thorough, professional, precised, organized, personal and efficient. If anything went wrong on my day I never knew about it as ICS was on the job, she took care of the big things as well as the little ones. Shanelle was on point with everything, for instance she carried my lipstick the entire day to ensure I was picture perfect, she help me with my dress when I had to go to the lady's room, she ensure that we ate, the photographer took enoungh and the right pictures, and so much more. I would highly reccomend Shanelle and the entire ICS team for wedding corrdination...

Shanelle and her team were amazing! I met Shanelle close to two years ago and right away I was instantly impressed with her professionalism and passion for wedding planning. Shanelle and ICS staff are AWESOME! I was looking for a planner for the day of coordination however Shanelle gave so much more. She is an attentive, organized and professional Woman. Whenever I had a question she responded within minutes. She introduced me to two great vendors Chic Sugars and Finer Touch Entertainment. I told Shanelle my vision and my wedding was PERFECT! I have to also add that she works with you all the way I was supposed to have 130 guest but ended up with 268. With uninvited guest and seat arrangements Shanelle made sure that the day was grand and I didn't have to worry about anything. Shanelle and Manny worked with all our vendors to ensure everything was on Time; which was very important to us. It feels great on the day of your wedding to trust someone and know it will get done. On a personal note Shanelle is a praying woman that will pray for you when you are having those overwhelming moments. I am grateful to Shanelle and I can't forget Manny who is also Awesome and took care of us every step of the way and let me know a couple of times I GOT YOU! Not only to I have a great wedding planner; I have a great Friend. Everyone is talking about our wedding and how is was Awesome and I am thankful that I had Shanelle and Manny of our team. If you want a great team that will be with you ever step of the way no matter if you have Full Planning or Day of Coordination Imaginative Creations by Shanelle is the way to go. It is with pleasure that I write this review for Shanelle and her company ICS. I am so happy that my friend, who's wedding ICS coordinated, recommended her to me for my wedding. ICS was by far my most valued vendor. Shanelle and her crew were always quick to respond to my many emails and made the needed recommendations for other vendors I used - photographer, videographer, DJ, florist.

My now husband, who was at first hesitant about us needing a coordinator, later wondered out loud how people have weddings without the help of a coordinator. We were very impressed by ICS and the level of service they provided to us on our wedding day; they were nearby at all times, attending to our needs and making sure everything was going as planned. Although our Nigerian wedding went hours over, Shanelle and her assistant Jenny stayed with us till the end.

I can definitely say that I had FUN on my wedding day and was worry free, thanks to Shanelle and her crew. I would not hesitate to recommend Imaginative Creations by Shanelle to any bride-to-be; the service is definitely money well spent!

After getting engaged I knew instantly that I would need someone to assist me in planning my wedding. I had so many ideas and visions that it was hard for me to pick anything. So I went to my trusted computer and googled wedding planners. And by the grace of God I found Shanelle and ICS. I was blessed with a group of people who listened to me and helped me to hone in on what I really wanted. Shanelle is a wonderful person and that shows in her work. She is very assertive and with 10 bridesmaids, 10 groomsmen a ring bearer and 2 flowergirls being assertive is very much needed. Shanelle handle the job like the pro that she is. No one's opinion counted except for my husband and my self. She was able to help me find all my vendors, DJ, Make-up artist, Hairstylist, and florist all phenomenal. I would definitely recommend all my vendors. Yes Shanelle is fabulous, however what adds to her award winning work is her staff. Jenny, Shanelles assistant, is just as great. She is personable and has a beautiful personality and I loved all the time that her and I spent together, as well as the time I spent with Shanelle. I can truly say that these women helped bring out my beauty and there are no other ways to express my feeling besides saying" From the bottom of My heart I Thank You". Shanelle, manny and lisette were absolutely PHENOMENAL! They stayed professional and FUN from beginning to end. I'm a very picky and forgetful bride and Imaginative creations by shanelle started on top of everything! My wedding was the greatess !! MANNY was fun sweeeet and in. top of his game the while night lisette kept everyone cool, and organized. And SHANELLE !!! Mam there jyst isnt enough words to say how great she was. I smiled..... NO! CHEESED the entire evening and even tho my limo was late and got lost and a bridesmaid went MIA (none of which was any fault of IMAGINATIVE CREATIONS BY SHANELLE) My wedding was a BLAST! First, I must say that Shanelle and her staff had the daunting task of planning our wedding - with me, the groom living in Switzerland and my wife Natasha in New York, we logged tons of Skype calls, impromptu meetings and I won't begin with the 1,000's of emails sent back and forth. But, Shanelle truly handled all with the utmost professionalism, time management and kindness. I can honestly say that I don't know where we would have started and ended without her. Now to the day of. Shanelle, Manny and Jenny have our utmost gratitude for our weekend getaway wedding in South Jersey (Friday to Sunday) they were there and present, from the midnight to 2am gift bag packing to my insane need for sugar-free Red Bulls to the last minute gift that I needed for one of my mentors the team was on fire. Shanelle and staff took control and managed everything without any major hitches and were flexible to audible when needed!!

We didn't have to think, Shanelle, Manny and Jenny took the wheels and allowed us to float on the most beautiful day of our life.

We fully recommend Shanelle to anyone, early and often - she is really amazing at wedding planning and as a person across the board!

Shanelle and her team are amazing. Her guidance through the planning was priceless. Going into planning my wedding, I was not sure if I needed a wedding planner or not but Shanelle was referred to me by a family member and I decided to give it a try. Let me just say that in the first conversation, she gave me more information that I was able to gather myself in the three months before planning on my own. She kept in touch and guided me every step of the way. After over a year of planning the big day was finally here and Shanelle and her team were absolutely fabulous. I never worried about anything, I was on time, the vendors she recommended were perfect and professional. She thought of everything and her emergency kit even impressed my bridesmaids. I asked my mom to bring her portable steamer and when that stopped working, Shanelle had one. Shanelle and her team were in constant communication throughout the event to ensure my day ran smoothly. Everyone commented that I was such a happy bride and all I can say is, that is because of Shanelle and her team. I never worried for anything. Her services were priceless. She even handled the demands of my family with professionalism and trust me that is not easy. From the rehearsal at the venue until our wedding almost everyone commented on how wonderful and on point she was with her IPAD :) I would not hesitate in recommending her services to family, friends and strangers.

Shanelle is a life saver! When my flowers were a no show on the day of my wedding, she and her assistants took charge and arranged for myself and my bridal party to have flowers. I give her tons of credit for being able to deal with my family and friends for my big Nigerian wedding! She is a joy to work with!

ICS Team is AMAZING!

Shanelle along with her team made our day so peaceful. They were awesome to work with and not for one moment did they make anyone feel uncomfortable. Imagine your wedding day being stressfree with the ICS Team. From beginning to end, they made EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING perfect.
