When we decided to get married , we knew that we needed a videographer who would make those memories last forever.
As soon as we saw Imagine Cinematography's previous work, we knew he could provide us with what we were dreaming. The emotion that they are able to capture is unbelievable. We relive our wedding day each time we watch our wedding film, and we can’t thank them enough for being part of this. For anyone looking for a videographer who is genuine, kind, easy to talk to, and who has an amazing talent - look no further! -

We found our collaboration with Imagine Cinematography to be a complete disappointment, as we feel that they don’t actually love making the effort to create a memorable video for the newlyweds, but instead they are only chasing the next gig purely for the $$ and are always swamped, not able to deliver as they promised. To our point of view, they treated us unprofessionally, with inconsistency and they were at many instances non-responsive and delivered very sloppy results. More details below:
We reached out to Imagine Cinematography - owned by Mr. Thodoris for our wedding that was planned for July 2023. Mr Thodoris was very responsive and enthusiastic in the beginning and we chose their most expensive package as it was promising a “story-telling” video. This enthusiasm however died very fast. After we signed the contract, we discovered that Mr. Thodoris needed many polite reminders to get things done and at the majority of times we were receiving no response to either our messages or our calls. After multiple follow ups he was responding with delay and his excuse was his heavy workload. We tried to stay positive and be understanding, looking back however, this was a big RED FLAG. From our point of view, it's not the clients who should be chasing the hired company but the other way around.
At our pre-wedding meeting we specifically asked them: 1. We know the delivery time of our “telling story” package is 15 days, but we don’t mind if it’s 25-30 days, as long as the result is of quality and thought-through. 2. We would like the mother of the bride to be filmed on the moment the bride arrives with her father. In that meeting they agreed with these requests but unfortunately in the end both of these requests were ignored. Mr Thodoris claimed he remembered the delivery of the video can be in 3 months instead of 15 days and he also claimed they just film whoever is in action, they don't pay attention to specific relatives. To our point of view, even verbal agreements have to be remembered and the requests of the couple should be respected, especially on delicate matters such as capturing the mother of the bride. The video itself was delivered to us 3 months later than agreed upon multiple polite reminders sent to Mr Thodoris that were in majority going unanswered. The delivered video to our point of view was sloppy and showed that it was made in a hurry. To name a few examples: They were parts that the sound was bad or not existent. The mother of the bride was barely seen anywhere in the video. Out of the 20 minute video, they had dedicated 2 minutes showing the bride belly-dancing which felt like they didn’t want to put energy to our video and they threw a 2 min dance to get it over with. This dance was how the video ended. We wonder how this is called “story-telling” when a story by definition has a beginning, a middle and an end; and our story certainly is not ending with a belly dancing. We pointed these out to Mr.Thodoris and we asked for a revision. Mr Thodoris did try to provide a revised version of it, and again we waited for another 3 months, with many unanswered follow ups, and the revised video we received, to our point of view, was still sloppy. The video even had glitches when it was sent to us, which shows that Mr Thodoris didn’t bother to take a careful second look at it. (we have to also mention that to our point of view the editing should not have been done by Mr Thodoris as he was not at the wedding himself and therefore he had not experienced the vibe of that day to be able to capture it well.)
Overall, this collaboration cost us not only money but also a great deal of psychological damage. If we knew all these would have happened, we would have never chosen Imagine Cinematography for our wedding. Our opinion continues to be strongly negative towards them even 1 year after our wedding and this is why we have decided to post this review.
