  Wonderful service! Highly Recommend!

  Innovative Dj was so much fun to work with. Robert was so positive each time we met and he was willing to do whatever it took to make sure that we had the perfect playlist and songs on our wedding day. He was full of energy and helped keep the party going all night. We highly recommend Innovated DJ!

  Perfect DJ for any event. Amazing DJ Booth w. Just Dance

  Robert did a great job creating our desired atmosphere at our wedding. He played a great selection of music, and even had Just Dance integrated into his DJ booth that was super fun. He had a great personality and always read the room appropriately. Besides being a DJ, he does so many other things that made our reception unforgettable. He provided a lit up monogram. He provided the bubbles for our grand exit. His DJ booth has a huge monitor where we displayed childhood and engagement photos. The screen also plays videos for the songs being played including Just Dance! We only met with Robert once a couple weeks before our wedding, and we could not been happier. We trusted him to do a good job, and he delivered, and we would definitely recommended Robert for your event.

  Jus awesome!

  Robert was an amazing DJ. We had very specific requests, and he completed all of them to the t. Communication was very easy, and he is a pleasure to work with. Music and MCing was on point, and I would recommend him 100%! (It’s also a huge plus if you’re having a bilingual English-Spanish wedding!)

  Dancing on the Clouds

  We had an absolutely outstanding experience with Robert and Innovative DJ. I run a high end wedding venue in the Austin area and knew when it came time to hire vendors, I would only trust the very best for my only daughter's big day! Robert is an awesome DJ, but we used his additional services for our event. My daughter's new last name is Cloud, so we knew we wanted them to have their first dance on a cloud filled dance floor. Robert made that happen in the most magical way! It was dreamy and was one of the highlights of the night! Don't hesitate to hire him today. He is professional, smart, runs a company of integrity and is an overall amazing person!

  Amazing Host!

  Robert was incredible to work with! We were able to rebook with him 3 times after our postponements during COVID. He is so easy to work with and he helps you create a personalized timeline so your day can go off smoothly! He played the ukulele live during the ceremony and it was so beautiful. I would highly recommend Robert to any bride!

  Life of the party!

  My husband and I hired Robert for our wedding based on the recommendation of our venue’s wedding planner, and we’re so happy we did! He was fun to work with and so eager to hear what new, crazy idea we had come up with on each phone call. Robert really made our ceremony and reception reflect our personalities, and he’s and amazing emcee! You can’t go wrong with Robert for your next event!

  It's a party!!!

  I met Robert at a Bridal show in Austin. He blew me away with his ukelele performance and i wanted no one else. I have to admit, the reviews online for his company were pretty bad as far as communication but Robert always responded to my emails or texts. He really came through on my wedding day and created a party everyone remembered! Seriously everyone had so much fun and the music was so good! Also, he is very reasonably priced!!!

  Super amazing!

  Robert was seriously so amazing, and kind. He worked so hard to make sure all of our music fit my Husband and myself. Any blanks we had he filled in with the perfect songs! Couldn't ask for a better DJ.

  "Absolutely THE BEST" Robert was just incredibly awesome. He was the DJ for my daughter's wedding this past weekend 8/25/18. He was so creative with ideas about the wedding reception. He made the planning for the wedding reception so easy giving us ideas on timelines etc. He kept the dance floor occupied all evening and it was a hopping event. I cannot say enough good things about this guy! He is very personable and listens to what you want your wedding to be. He is so gifted at what he does and you can feel his passion for his profession. His ideas were innovative and I loved his idea for the bride and groom first dance. He will make your day the best day ever!

I knew I wanted a big dance party, and Robert delivered. We first met him at a bridal expo. He stood out to me, and his booth is the one I remembered and thought about weeks after the expo had passed. He gives off such a positive energy that radiates throughout the room and his work. We met with him a couple of times before the event to discuss what we wanted, and each time I left our meetings feeling assured that we hired the right guy. On our wedding day Robert arrived early and set everything up for the night. He played the ukulele expertly as the wedding party marched down the aisle. When it came time for the reception we walked in to a beautifully lit up room as Robert had arranged uplifting, a wedding gobo, Dance floor lighting, and backdrop lighting around the venue. A slideshow of pictures and videos that we submitted played on the screens that Robert had set up. My favorite part of the night was list bing to our vows as we had our first dance. Robert had recorded them and put them in during the instrumental parts of the song. He was an engaging emcee and got everyone on the dance floor for the night! He even had fun music videos to accompany the songs he played. Robert truly delivered a phenomenal party, and I highly recommend his services.

  At the January Bridal Extravaganza, I was struck by a booth from which vibrant and energetic Latin music was being played and people were crowded around dancing at the entrance to the display. It was Innovative's booth and I was frozen listening and watching. We had already hired a big band for the February wedding reception, a group for the cocktail hour and a string quartet for the ceremony so we couldn't avail ourselves of this spirited playlist. But, Innovative does more than DJ music; they do lighting, graphic displays and sound systems for the ceremony or reception. We had failed to arrange for lighting in the ballroom and sound at the ceremony. We were so taken by Innovative's booth, we hired them on the spot for lighting and sound. And they were amazing. Robert met us at the venue one evening and designed out all the lighting and the couples signature logo to display over the bandstand. He calculated the audio needs and planned for that as well. When we arrived to set up for the actual wedding, Robert was already there working on his end of the design. And it was perfect. The effect he achieved was dramatic and was an important factor in bringing elegance to a charming rustic setting. Most important, Robert is an amazingly upbeat person with a can-do attitude on steroids. For every event that I will have in the future, I will make sure Robert is an indispensable part.

  Robert was so amazing to work with! He was a preferred vendor at our venue (Twisted Ranch) and I am SO glad we chose him! He also works really well with their wedding coordinator! He met with us a few times to make sure everything was like the way we wanted it to be & he took a lot of time to fit in little details that a lot of people look over! I would 10/10 recommend him if you're in the Austin area, he is a great person overall!!!!

  When we first met Robert at the bridal expo, we immediately knew that Innovative DJ Entertainment was the company we would go with. Others had gimmicks like photo booth's or margarita machines, but none had the same outgoing personality or heart.
  
  Robert sent us a packet of paperwork to look over before our first meeting. Some may find the packet overwhelming at 28 pages, but we were so thankful! The packet of info resulted in us identifying things we had never thought of, for example types of dances/activities and music specifics. With this info (and a couple hours to complete it ahead of time) we went into our first consultation with Robert prepared and nailed down nearly everything.
  
  A specific service Robert suggested to us (which was an absolute hit at the reception) was layering in our recorded spoken vows on-top of our first dance. It melted the hearts of our family members and made our first dance that much more special.
  
  The two times we met with Robert he worked around our schedule availability, which was important to us since we work in different parts of town.
  
  The day of the ceremony, everything was perfect! The audio at the ceremony, dinner music and especially the reception. We went with the elite package which included uplighting that accented the venue, making a beautiful venue look amazing. He also saved the day with the toasts. The venue wanted to use their in house mic system, instead of his set up. When thy couldn't get their mic's to work when they time came, he quickly brought in an external speaker and mic setup, having everything ready to go 3 mins later. I was VERY impressed with that!!!
  
  Robert really took time to get to know us, asking questions about our lives, how we met, so he could understand who we were. This personal touch made us feel 100% confident that his work would be a great reflection of us.

He made sure everything was as we requested and described. He got there early and had everything set up and ready to go way ahead of time. I’m sure many brides and mothers have had those dreams where vendors didn’t show up. Ugh, I had my share. Robert did not disappoint. When the dance floor was officially opened after the specialty dances, the floor started rockin’ with guests dancing and having fun. It stayed that way until the end. The floor was always full. I heard many compliments about how “fun” the wedding was. It was in large part due to Robert. I would definitely recommend him. That is if you want quality (especially for the money) and to have a great time!

  Robert was amazing!!! We are so happy with our decision to use Robert as our wedding DJ. All of our guests had an amazing time at our reception. He played music videos as well as picture slideshows on TV's during our reception. He never got offended if I asked him to make changes and he was always SO easy to work with. Highly recommend using Robert for your wedding!

  Robert was AMAZING! I was referred to him by my wedding coordinator and he was perfect. I was supposed to have live a piano player with violin at the ceremony but my piano ended up not working but Robert was ready with all his equipment and saved the day. He already had a list of the songs I wanted and he had the violinist play along with his music and it was perfect. I got so many compliments from my guest about him and even asked for his information. He was so flexible with the payment and when to give him my desired music which really helped with all the chaos of the wedding. He far exceeded my expectations. He played the perfect songs to get everyone on the dancefloor and even took requests from the guests. He was so professional whenever he made announcements. I have yet to go to a wedding that had as good of a DJ as robert :)

He was so flexible with the payment and when to give him my desired music which really helped with all the chaos of the wedding. He far exceeded my expectations. He played the perfect songs to get everyone on the dancefloor and even took requests from the guests. He was so professional whenever he made announcements. I have yet to go to a wedding that had as good of a DJ as robert :)

  Robert was very professional and flexible with all of our wishes. Everything that day was perfect including our music! He made sure that everything we envisioned came true and included an awesome custom gobo in our package. He definately went above and beyond for us. I would recommend him to anyone.

  Robert did an amazing job for our wedding. He provided the sound for the ceremony and the music for our cocktail hour, dinner and reception. During the dancing he was able to read the crowd and play music that was enjoyable to everyone present and we had a diverse crowd. We had a few specific songs that we wanted him to play for our parents. This was a challenge because several of the songs were Italian songs from the 70's but he was able to find them all. We are extremely please with Robert and everything he did.

  Robert pretty much SAVED the ceremony! I could start this review off with how pleasant and responsive he was to work with throughout the entire process, but he literally and unexpectedly saved the ceremony! We had originally planned to have our (surprise) mariachis start playing just outside the chapel as soon as my groom and I started back down the aisle but unfortunately they were 30 minutes late! So when it came time to make our way outside, without a hitch, he had a fun, festive mariachi song ready to play! Had he not been there, we would have an awkward silent march! So for that alone, we will forever be grateful!
  
  Robert also comes with his own lighting! Our wedding fell on Day of the Dead weekend so we decided to have a fiesta themed wedding with bold purple, orange, and red colors! He set the ambiance of the reception hall with precise spotlighting, uplighting upon the columns, and even created the most beautiful "papel picado" monogram that displayed beautifully on the back wall behind the band!
  
  He's a fantastic emcee! Doesn't miss a beat with his versatile choice of music! In between the band's sets, he played everything from classic, country, line, and even the most reminisced tejano! A month after the wedding and I still have guest telling me how much they enjoyed Robert!
  
  He had no problem meeting with my day-of coordinator and I months before the event. He arrived early that day, set up quickly and stayed until the very end! He really was the perfect find for our important day! I hope to find another reason to get to work with him in the future!

  Robert DJ'd my son's wedding on May 18, 2014 and I can't say enough great things about him and his company. The cost was very reasonable and he was as professional as they come. We had an outside ceremony, an outside cocktail hour and an inside reception all at a winery in Driftwood. Robert was able to provide music in all three locations on the day and it all went smoothly. He was happy to attend the pre-event meeting, and again met with the bride and groom to go over the music selections. He provided great suggestions and was able to provide exactly the music the bride and groom wanted. He was at the location early to set up his equipment and was very organized. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Robert rocks!

He seriously cares that your day/night goes great. He does not just push a button or talk all night long. I picked allot of songs that I wanted played and he was supportive of that but also I said if you see it dying on the dance floor to do "his thing" and a couple times he had to. It was important to me that I found a DJ that could mix and mesh songs together and he was the only one that I talked to that could. He did a fab job at the ones I wanted.   Robert was Fantastic! He was just amazing at our wedding. He made sure that certain music was not played at our wedding and was always friendly. It felt like we had known him for years. Great guy to work with. You will not be disappointed. It would be a mistake not to hire Robert.
