International Spy Museum Reviews

We and our guests are still talking about our perfect wedding atop the International Spy Museum. The SPY team and caterers made things so easy that we managed to visit with out-of-town guests and take naps on our wedding day. Communication with the SPY team was great. The rooftop was perfect for a formal ceremony with the Capitol and monuments in the background followed by a night of feasting and dancing for 100 guests - no moving the masses or guests waiting for the reception to start. We literally went from vows and final blessing to champagne and appetizers in less than 1 minute. Guests loved that the Hilton was walking distance from the museum and short ride from Reagan National Airport. We wouldn’t have changed anything! (Steve & Michael 4/21/23)

I had my wedding at the Spy Museum in September and the process was great. Cori our sales manager was wonderful to work with to Amanda and Manon helping my vision for the day come true. Even on the day of our event captains Allie and Ben were an absolute pleasure to work with. It’s a beautiful venue and loved our time there.

The Spy Museum Rooftop Terrace was the wedding location of my dreams. The views are jaw dropping and the space really needs minimal décor to make a huge statement. The staff was super attentive throughout the wedding planning process, accommodating venue tours at the last minute and responding to emails almost instantly. We had a relatively small wedding and the space didn't swallow us or make it feel like we couldn't fill it up. It is really such a memorable venue and I am so happy we got married here!

Getting married here was a VIBE. The staff was so incredibly fun and attentive - we really had our dream come true getting married here.

While searching for a wedding reception venue in DC for our small wedding, it was hard to find a place that wasn't too big, allowed red wine and didn't cost a fortune. Luckily, I had been to the Spy Museum for work events over the years and contacted them. I'm so glad I checked in to see if they could hold our wedding reception for 80 guests (turned out to be 65 in the end).

The location is so convenient in the Chinatown area of DC. It sits between two hotels and has everything you need to keep your guests happy for the weekend. The event room itself is a great size for any wedding for 100 or less people. The room looked absolutely stunning that night and I loved that the rooms are full of windows, since I hate dark ballrooms. The staff and caterers were really wonderful to work with. They made everything so easy and our event was perfect.

Plus, I enjoyed telling people that we were holding our wedding reception at the International Spy Museum. Every response was the same; "that's so cool".

We knew we wanted a big open space with character and lots of light and the spy museum checked all the boxes. They did a fantastic job working with us to set up the space and the views of the capitol were incredible. Highly recommend!
