    The ambience is indescribable!

    My best friends got married here this past weekend and everything went amazing! Erin is an amazing planner and coordinator! The barn is absolutely beautiful and has everything a wedding party would need to have a blast! If you’re looking for a country themed barn wedding, this place is it!

    All I can say is...Just Wow.

    What a great experience!! So accommodating and super nice! I will definitely be looking forward to using this venue in the future.

    Carefree and loving!

    Erin was an absolute pleasure! She was accommodating and flexible with any and all concerns. She made sure that any COVID issues were addressed and was extremely professional. On time, helpful, and extremely caring! She honestly spent the entire time standing and walking making sure everything was running perfectly!

    Rustic Wedding

    My husband and I had our wedding at Iron Gate Farms on Nov. 14th. We were blown away by the ambience of the venue! I wanted something more casual and country themed so Iron Gate was perfect for what I wanted and is absolutely stunning. The venue manager, Erin, did an amazing job at coordinating our wedding and her time line made our event plans flow so easily. It was truly more than what we could have ever wanted for our wedding. With these uncertain times, we were a little worried that covid-19 would have a negative impact on our wedding plans. Thankfully we wanted a smaller wedding with a limited number of guests but the size of the barn and the outside areas, it made it easy for everyone to feel safe, comfortable, and social distance. Our wedding was an absolute blast and I know our guests had an amazing time!

    Exceptional

    Kathy and Erin were amazing! From our initial tour of the venue until the wedding, we felt completely at peace because we knew all of the details would be perfect and just like we planned! You could not ask for a more professional team to make your most special day truly amazing!

    Kathy and the Iron Gate Gang took care of our family well beyond our expectations. My daughter's reception was beautiful, our guest loved the barn. They could not get over how lovely the lighting, simple but elegant decorations turned the venue into a grand event. Kathy handle everything, even the things that were out of her scope. I can't thank her enough!

    I would recommend and suggest this beautiful venue and a special thanks to ms Tracie Kathy and Madison very kind heart felt folks that made our only son wedding a dream come true for us .could not ask for a better experience thank you iron gate farm

    Great Venue - Fire the Manager!

    Original contract, signed by all, said no changes to contract allowed less than 14 days prior to event. If changes made, all had to sign a new contract. 12 days prior to our daughter's wedding, the manager of the Iron Gate in Clover, SC tried to change the contract and when we tried to contact she was unavailable. The day we were suppose to decorate hew to ask why she did not respond. Instead made the caterers angry to boot. She change the time for us to decorate and then, when our hour was up, rudely started shutting fans off and lights out. She arrived a few minutes late and had the audacity to continually ask if we were done, how much longer, etc. The day of the wedding she was a little better behaved but not much. We had the venue until 8P and before 730P asked if we were ready to start taking down. Music still playing! She got into a fight with the caterers in front of guests regarding clean up. We had assured her the place would be cleaned up.
    Until this venue gets another manager and lets this gal go I would not recommend them whatsoever.
    It is a shame because the venue is beautiful.

    Iron Gate Farm's reply:

    Hi Tracy,
    We apologize that you did not have the desired experience you wished with Iron Gate Farm Events, per your review. We did receive a message from your daughter, the Bride, the following day relating her pleasure and gratitude for everything we did. She made no mention of any problems or concerns.
    In response to your specific comments:
    1.       We did ask, 2 days in advance, to delay the start time for decorating by 15 minutes which was agreed to by the Bride.  The contract specifically spelled out the amount of time you had access to the venue. Additional time (at a fee) was declined.
    2.       The experience with your chosen caterer was unfortunate. I will not elaborate here, but they failed to meet the conditions of their signed agreement with us. We have security footage of our Venue Manager repeatedly asking the caterer to come into her office to discuss the situation. The caterer was also the reason we needed to amend your contract as he was unwilling to provide the quality of service that we require of vendors.
    It is always our intention and goal to provide high quality, professional service to all of our clients.

    Our wedding

    When we visited everything was great, they seemed super helpful and flexible due to all of the uncertainty with Covid. However when we went to make a changebdur to Covid however, they were not helpful or flexible at all. We knew we would not get our deposit back but they also would not refund any additional payments we had made and did not offer any reasonable solutions for us. I was highly disappointed in their level of customer service and help in these tough times.
