    Come dressed with confidence and expectation!! The consultants know what they are doing. Don't be afraid to try on something outside of your wishlist. You may end up like me and purchase a dress that was far better than anything you pick for yourself.

    Mesita and the Ivory Bridal team made my shopping experience a breeze. Going to a shop that caters to plus size women is a breath of fresh air but they truly make every customer feel like a VIP.

    Mesita and her staff were very professional and very personable. After talking to the staff, I found my wedding dress there. I looked gorgeous in my dress!

    Ivory Bridal was by far the best place we went to find my wedding dress. The decor is fun and girly, they take one appointment at a time and really make you feel special. My mum, sister and I all got champagne and cookies! The ladies there were so friendly and personable. The other places i went to felt like a factory, but this was a nice boutique in a nice location. I am so happy i said "Yes to the Dress" at Ivory Bridal and Formal!

    My experience at Ivory Bridal was one of sheer wonderfulness. Ivory Bridal's staff really saved my wedding planning sanity after the awful experience at another wedding salon where I not only had poor service, after paying for my gown I received a call back saying that the gown would not arrive in time, but that they would be happy to sale me the sample gown that I tried on at regular price! Sadden and with broken spirit I symbolically limped into Ivory's feeling that it would be impossible to find a gown with my time limit based on my most recent experience. From the moment I walked in I received 5star, concierge like service. The intimate feel in their showroom allowed me to browse designs at my own pace, without the feeling of being rushed because there are a line of frantic brides behind me waiting. I am a plus sized woman and was most impressed that Ivory Bridal had beautiful plus sized gowns for me to try on, not just to admire from afar. It makes all the difference to see yourself in a gown that catches your eye and Ivory Bridal allowed me this very simple pleasure. Ivory Bridal really turned my overall bridal experience around because after all, planning a wedding is not just about your wedding day, it's about the lovely moments, experiences, and special moments that lead up to it...Ivory Bridal captured all of those special moments for me and I am forever grateful. I also received referrals to a great photographer, Taun Henderson, referrals to the most incredible designer who has created a bridal tuxedo to die for, for us. Ivory Bridal helped me search for wedding shoes and even a veil; I am just so impressed by them! It's like a one stop shop for all of your wedding needs. My recommendation, try Ivory Bridal first, they've got the happy couple, the wedding party, the getaway car, and all other wedding needs covered! Happy Planning!!!

    Ivory bridal was my first stop on my search for a wedding dress. I was quite nervous and anxious when I arrived at the shop with my mother. From the moment that Mesita greeted us at the door, her warm personality calmed my nerves. I didn't really have a specific idea of what style dress I wanted, but Mesita was patient with me as I tried on several lovely gowns. and her eye is amazing, She picked dresses for me that I would have never chosen, but they each made me look and feel beautiful. The customer service at Ivory was awesome, as were the selection and prices. I would definitely recommend Ivory Bridal to any bride

    I bought my wedding dress and veil here and cannot WAIT to get it back! Although there was not much of a selection in the store for bridal gowns, the associates were very helpful. I was impressed by the level of personalization they put into my appointment. A little bit more expensive, but worth it so far!

    Be open to try silhouettes you don't think you would like. You don't really know until you try it on.

    I had a great experience finding my dream dress at Ivory and no problems with ordering. The dress came in about a week later than expected; no problem. (Or at least I wasn't called until a week later). It needed minimal alterations. I had the final fitting the week of the wedding to just ensure the alterations were successful. Turns out, the bust had not been altered as requested. I was told it was no problem, the owner would have the dress to the seamstress that day and I could pick up Friday morning (the day before my wedding, when I had scheduled a bridesmaid's luncheon and my rehearsal and rehearsal dinner). I was a little concerned about fitting in time to pick it up with so much scheduled the day before my wedding. I was assured by the owner that she would bring it to me if necessary. Long story short, I called Friday afternoon to check on the status of my dress after not having heard from Mesita, the owner. She said she wasn't able to get the dress (as promised) to the seamstress until that morning so my dress was still not ready. She told me it would be ready Saturday, MY WEDDING DAY. I told her that wouldn't work for me and reminded her that she offered to deliver the dress to me. She told me she didn't have time to go get it that night and that she couldn't deliver before Saturday afternoon. I ended up missing my rehearsal dinner completely and had to drive one hour to the seamstress house, try on my dress in this strange woman's house and wait for her to finish altering. I had zero apologies from Mesita, the owner of Ivory and no refund/compensation for the $200 I spent to have the bust taken in and a bustle added to my dress. It didn't ruin my wedding day but it absolutely ruined the day before my wedding when I had two big events planned and many quests in town. Such poor customer service. So disappointed. An apology would have eased the pain at least a little and Mesita couldn't even offer that.

    Terrible! Run far far away from this scam artist

    If I could give negative stars I would. This woman is a SCAM artist. I paid over $2000 for a dress and belt in May 2019. I get emailed in October, after she ignored MULTIPLE emails and phone calls from me, saying that the dress was there, but it was the wrong size, it was two sizes smaller than what was ordered even though it was tagged for the "correct" size. Come to find out she had "ordered" the wrong size initially anyways. After about 3 weeks of messaging back and forth, I agreed to just try on the dress because she said that she thought it would be my size anyways, and she would take care of any alterations that would be needed. The day before I even get up there, I send an email to the address I had been corresponding with, and the email is no longer accessible. I go up there, and the dress does fit perfectly. After the email incident and her inability to answer a phone call, and the ongoing "we're moving locations, and not taking appointments" I panic and take the dress with me because I'm pretty sure if I don't I won't have a dress. When I leave with the dress I communicate with her that I am still missing my belt, and she tells me she will mail it out that day, November 16th. I get home and I start looking at the dress pictures I had from the first time I tried on the sample dress, and look at the one I came home with. IT WAS A USED DRESS! That is why the sizing was different than the tag, it wasn't the dress company. On top of this, I didn't get the belt mailed to me until Jan 6, after I begged her to get it to me earlier because I just wanted to be done and rid of the horrible experience. Well don't worry, she didn't send it out because she never bought it, it had to be shipped from the distributor directly, to the wrong address I may add. Thank God I had my mail forwarded, even though I was sure to give her my updated mailing address at the time of me picking up my dress. So lucky for me because I paid thousands of dollars for a dress and can't afford two of them, I get to be married in a USED wedding dress because of this horrible woman who has no reason to run a business.

    I tried to contact the BBB, but because she refuses to answer emails, my concerns never got addressed, and the BBB advised for me to get a lawyer for the breech of contract.

    Plus size wedding dress shopping is already a pain, let alone to be scammed, and stressed that the company you bought your dream dress from isn't going to deliver a product that you paid for. So if you don't want a used dress, a shady contact, STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM IVORY BRIDAL.

    Dress was beautiful, experience was awful

    My experience with Ivory Bridal was the most (and only) stressful part of my wedding planning process. I ordered my dress from Ivory Bridal in January 2019 with my wedding date being October 12th, 2019. I live about an hour away from Ivory Bridal, but I loved the dress shopping experience and I was so excited when I found my dress. We paid for the dress and were told that it was scheduled to arrive in June. When June rolled around, I called to follow up and was told by Gladys (the receptionist) that my dress would be arriving the first week of July, but in July it was pushed back to the end of August. I didn’t fault them for this considering my receipt listed that dresses can take a minimum of 6-8 months to arrive and it was most likely the fault of the manufacturer. I finally called back at the end of August and was told that my dress had shipped, and they planned my first fitting for 9/13. At my fitting I noticed that the bridal belt I ordered with my dress had not arrived and the owner, Mesita, let me know that she had forgotten to order it in January but she promised to have it to me by next fitting two weeks later. 9/28 was my appointment to pick up my dress, but after calling to confirm my appointment and having to leave a voicemail (the day of) Gladys called me back an hour before my appointment to let me know that they had forgotten to write down my appointment, and that they needed me to meet them at an alternate location due to “unforeseen circumstances.” The address they provided me with ended up taking me to the seamstress office where I met with Gladys. I tried on my dress again, it fit perfectly but again there was no belt. Gladys texted Mesita and was told that she had “forgotten it” when I asked what that meant and if it had been ordered Gladys told me that Mesita would be calling me and that I could keep asking her questions, but that she didn’t have any information for me. Gladys then got her things and left as soon as she could tell we were frustrated with the lack of communication. With my wedding being two weeks away, I left my appointment with my dress and no answers. We drove past the Ivory Bridal shop to see that it had been completely gutted and that they were now moving locations with no communication about any of this happening. I finally heard from Mesita (by Facebook message) four days later after I left multiple voicemails and messaged all their social media outlets. She then called me and let me know that she hadn’t ordered the belt when she said she would, but that she would have it delivered to me by UPS that Friday. She should have called me, or at least let me know when to expect her call, as soon as she realized that she hadn’t ordered the belt that she promised would be at my appointment. She did eventually get the belt to me on October 4th and luckily, I was able to find a local seamstress to alter it and my dress was finally ready on October 9th. My dress was beautiful, but if I could go back in time, I would have purchased it from somewhere else. The lack of customer service and communication I received from Ivory Bridal was extremely disappointing considering the industry they’re in. If you’re looking for a stress-free wedding dress experience, this is not the place to go.
