  They really captured the moments

  I'm so obsessed with my photos. To me, wedding photos and video were the most important vendors. We want to be able to look back on our special day with a smile. Thank you Joseph and April for your hard work and capturing all the special moments. We use J&A Light for our wedding and engagement photos. They did such a great job. The communication was really good. I had so many questions and they answered it all in detail. They helped us visualize the kind of wedding we wanted. Usually, I'm very awkward in front of a camera but they made us feel comfortable. They were professional, detailed, and a lot of fun to work with. They really captured the moments. I think they might be ninjas, in some of the shots, we didn't know they were being taken. They really captured the raw emotions. It was perfect.

  Joseph and April were amazing!! This husband and wife duo was one of our favorite vendors. Truly a huge asset to our entire wedding production. I am a wedding planner and for 20 months I planned our wedding to the detail. So it was extremely difficult for my Fiance and I to decide on a photographer who could meet our needs, but when we landed on JandA, they were everything we wanted and more! We needed our photographers to capture our vision for both our engagement photos & wedding...and they nailed it! Our photos were absolutely jaw dropping. The comments we received from our family and friends were incredible; we were told multiple times that we looked like a Vogue magazine cover. As a planner, it was my desire to find vendors that are as passionate about this industry as I am. JandA are one of the most passionate people I know! Their love and passion for photography transcended throughout our entire experience with them. Response times are within 24hours, consultations were extremely accommodating and meet up locations were always so flexible. I was so amazed by their customer service; for our engagement shoot, they listened and understood our vision for a location - they picked the top 5 locations that were most suitable, scoped out the location before the date, studied the tides of the ocean/weather & sun light for that day, emailed us detailed directions/parking instructions and on top of all that, gave us a check list of items to bring for a light hike/cold weather etc. Extremely thorough! My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of the lense - we were afraid we wouldn't know what to do or how to pose and it show on camera...but Joseph was absolutely PRO at directing us. He made us look like complete models!! I will continue to recommend JandA to all my Family/Friends & Clients. If you are looking for someone who's mastered photography, understands lighting and honors their word....JandA is your company! It was my pleasure working with them,

  For our engagement photos, we spent the entire day with them across many different locations throughout San Francisco, with Joseph ferrying us from place to place. They never rushed us and were so laid back, but also professional throughout in making sure we got the best shots. They went over the allotted time to ensure we had everything we wanted. And at the end of the night, we even grabbed dinner and drinks together because we got along so well!
  
  For our wedding, they again were terrific, spending a very long day with us, hustling for hours without complaints. Their secondary photographer, Reggie, was also quite talented. And most importantly, when we got our photos, we were just blown away by their eye for capturing emotion, action and love -- all while making us look beautiful in the process.
  
  We'd give them 10 stars if we could. You won't be disappointed.

  I cannot say enough how fantastic it was to have J&A Light photograph our wedding. First, and perhaps most important, the photos are beautiful and stunning. Not only do you get technically great photos (subjects in focus, faces properly lit), but the composition itself is wonderful. Joseph and April have great visual eyes and are able to capture such natural but dramatic moments throughout the wedding day. And when I saw the photos, I was blown away by how they were able to tell the story of the day. It wasn't just interspersed still frames. Each photo and all the photos together narrate our wedding, and we'll be able to revisit our special day whenever we look at our photos and can share our story with our family and friends. Second, it was a joy working with Joseph and April. They are so professional and put together, so we were totally at ease when it came time for us do our photos. Going back to when we did our engagement photos, Joseph helped us with our vision of our engagement photos and later our wedding, and we could tell that he knew what he was doing . From the beginning, we felt we could trust him, and our trust paid off in our amazing wedding photos. Also, Joseph and April were extremely accommodating to our wedding schedule, which was such a bonus for us. We knew that we had some unique things scheduled during the day, like a tea ceremony, and were worried about photographers that are strict about their packages or charge crazy amounts if you try to alter their package. But Joseph and April met up with us face-to-face multiple times to customize our photography schedule and made themselves available for all of our special moments throughout the day and night. In fact, they caught many impromptu moments where I didn't even realize they were there to take a photo (I will forever treasure that photo of my mom and me dancing at the end of the night). I've already recommended J&A to all my other friends and family. Joseph and April, THANK YOU!!!
