  The best of the best

  Justin is one of my new favorite people. He brought such a calm, steady energy to our big day. He is intentional and reliable. We have watched our highlight film over and over again with such joy! We had a micro wedding and our friends and family have loved reliving the day with us by watching the film. Justin is so talented and we truly are forever grateful.

  Justin did a beautiful job capturing our wedding day!!

  Justin was such a wonderful pleasure to work with! Our wedding coordinator recommended him and I’m so glad she did! Justin was very professional, easygoing, and produced the most wonderful trailer and video for our wedding day! We’re so pleased with the finished products and can’t thank Justin enough for his beautiful work capturing our special day. I like to think of him as an incognito videographer as 1) he captured so many moments we didn’t get a chance to see ourselves since we were absorbed in the day and b) it was so wonderful seeing the wedding through his perspective and story. Also, the combination of drone footage (macro) and detail shots (micro) really made for a beautifully shot video. We would highly recommend Justin for your special occasion!

  Made my wedding day perfect!

  Cannot say enough good things about Justin! First of all, every one of his videos are flawless so his work speaks for itself, if you're on the fence. From the very beginning, he was so accommodating with my date changes because of Covid, so kind and responsive anytime I had a question or concern.
  
  On our wedding day, he was totally calm and collected (which you need on your day!), he followed perfectly along with our photographer, and made us feel totally at ease with how comfortable he looked behind the camera. He even offered to stay longer at our reception even though he had been there the entire day, just to get a shot of our last dance at the end of the night. He seemed to somehow fade into the background but still managed to get every shot needed without ever being in the way.
  
  I was anticipating the video to take between 6-8 weeks, but Justin had it ready on our one month anniversary, which was so special for us! The entire video was better than we could've ever hoped for. I truly could not imagine anyone else capturing our day like he did. So lucky to have found him -- one of the best wedding decisions I made!

  This is a very important role to fill, capturing your special day and editing it to a layer where you can have that memory forever.   Justin did an AMAZING job! We originally went back and forth with hiring a videographer but I am so happy that we did!! He captured a little bit of each moment of the day in the most perfect way. I can't stop watching it and friends & family have reached out with so many compliments and bringing everyone to tears (in the best way possible!) Hire Justin if you want to relive the best day of your life over and over!!

  The BEST Wedding Videographer

  Justin was incredible to work with! He was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. With us being out of state, he worked with us to meet at the venue when we planned a trip to meet with our vendors right after Christmas. Justin worked with us as COVID hit to postpone our wedding. I had heard of horror stories from other weddings with COVID, but Justin made life much easier as he rebooked us without any penalties. We were so excited when he said that he could set up a live stream so our family and friends that could not attend could still be a part of our ceremony. Apparently most couples did this themselves through a video call platform, so we were so grateful to have this done professionally. I don't think I ever saw Justin put down his camera the entire day. We cannot wait to see the final product!! Thank you Justin for capturing the best day ever so we can relive it in years to come!

  We are so happy that we hired Justin to capture our wedding day. We got our video back quickly and absolutely LOVE it! We had some specific requests and he was able to accommodate them all and made us a beautiful video that we will always have to look back on. He was very responsive throughout the entire planning process and we genuinely enjoyed chatting with him before the wedding. Highly recommend hiring Justin!

  I wasn't planning on hiring a videographer for our wedding initially - it seemed like an added expense that wouldn't be worth it and after watching what felt like hundreds of sample reels for vendors across the state, I nearly threw in the towel. However, once I found J. Mitchell Productions' website, I absolutely knew I had to make room in the budget to hire them. Justin's videos are absolute works of art - no cheesy shots or shaky footage that looks like your uncle shot it on his 90s camcorder. I gave him very little to go on and somehow the video he produced is exactly what I imagined. Everyone we've shown it to jokes (after they've finished dabbing the tears from their eyes) that they can't wait to see it at Sundance or is amazed at the shots Justin captured while somehow being as unobtrusive as humanly possible. TL;DR, if you're considering hiring a videographer for your wedding, this is the guy you want.

  Justin and his team were truly a dream to work with. They were on time and professional and honestly I almost didn't even notice they were there. I am truly obsessed with my wedding video. It is more than anything I could have dreamed of. I almost didn't book a videographer because of the cost and I am so thankful I did. Justin got my video back to me exactly one month after my wedding which was much sooner than I expected. I appreciate all his hard work and highly recommend him for any wedding or event!!

  Hire justin!

  We found Justin online and hired him because we loved his other work and he did not disappoint! We didn't give him any direction as far as what we wanted and let him use his creative liberties, and I am so glad we did! He created the most incredible wedding video we could have ever imagined. He managed to capture every single special moment from our day and put it in the video. He put in footage of us with each one of our special people. He even captured and selected the tiniest moments that we thought no one saw. And he somehow knew to select the words that meant the most to us out of our vows, the readings, our officiants words, our maid of honor and best man speeches...etc. We are simply blown away. He captured our day so wonderfully, we love that we can relive our day through his film for years and years to come. 5 stars aren't enough. We would give him 100/100 stars if we could!

  Like most couples, my husband and I were on the fence of hiring a videographer for our wedding and I'm so glad that we did. After researching a ton of options, my wedding coordinator told me about Justin and his quality of work. When I reached out to Justin, I knew I wanted to book him on the spot! He was quick to respond. friendly, and totally understood my vision. We worked through a contract and I can honestly say he was one of my favorite vendors to work with. I only spoke to him a few times before the wedding and I trusted him completely. On the day of the wedding he was punctual and was comfortable to be around. I knew he was always nearby, even when he was quiet in the background, capturing the big and small moments of our day. And boy did he deliver! My sneak peek video was amazing and so was the full version! I cry every time I watch it and I'm so glad Justin was a part of my day and captured the beauty of it all. I've received so many compliments on my video and I know without a doubt that hiring Justin was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding.

  Best Wedding Investment

  Justin Mitchell did a breathtaking job at capturing footage of our wedding! My husband does video editing, and wanted to be able to put together our wedding video himself.. but that meant finding someone that he could trust to capture all of the special moments. Justin surpassed all of our expectations! In addition to giving us the raw footage he put together a short sneak peak video of our wedding, which was beautiful...so I know that if you are looking for someone to capture and put together a wedding video he is your guy! Now that my husband has compiled all of the footage that Justin captured, it is literally the closest thing we can get to re-experiencing the best day of our lives! We can't thank Justin enough.

  Everything we dreamed

  Justin was a wonderful videographer. He arrived early the day of to get all of the shots of the venue and us getting ready. He was so unobtrusive that I completely forgot that I was being filmed the entire time! The final product that he sent us is breathtaking and has me in tears everytime I watch it because it's just perfect. Can't thank him enough!

  Perfection!

  Justin far exceeded our expectations and delivered the most beautiful and moving video that perfectly encapsulated the love and happiness of my daughter’s wedding day.   Fairytale Romance

  Justin went above and beyond to give us the most beautiful wedding video of our dreams. He was able to capture natural moments and find the beauty in all of them and knows just how to convey them on your screen. He was easy to work with, responded faster then any other vendor I worked with, and was able to stay within a budget I felt comfortable in. Our wedding video literally looks like something out of a fairy tale! It's more beautiful than I ever could have imagined he captured the day exactly how I pictured it in my mind! I would highly recommend him to anyone!

  Justin is absolutely amazing at what he does! I had gone back and forth on whether or not to get a videographer for my wedding, and let me tell you, I am SO thankful I did. And I am so happy I chose Justin. Not only is he incredibly kind and easy to work with, but the final video we received is like something out of a movie. It captured the highlights of our wedding perfectly. We will forever cherish this video to relive our wedding day and we have Justin to thank!!

We originally did not think we needed a videographer, but decided on it at the last minute and we are so happy we did. The day moves by so quickly and the video we received captured all of the important things you never want to forget so perfectly. Justin was responsive, friendly and so great to work with. His pricing is reasonable and what he provides is something that can be cherished for a lifetime!

  Loved working with Justin!!

  Justin was our videographer for our wedding in June 2018. First of all, the video itself is beautiful and I am so glad we chose Justin. During our intro call, he asked about our style and what types of videos I liked. I sent over a few that I loved, not really sure what to expect out of the actual video itself. He did such a fantastic job figuring out our style and catering the video to that. It was just so perfect.
