  We used J. Russel for hair and makeup and for spray tans for our wedding. Courtney Warren and Ally Scott were absolutely amazing and made me, my bridesmaids, and my mother and mother in law beautiful on wedding day! They were prompt the day of the wedding and even got through everyone early. They were professional and gave us all the look we wanted. The experience was the same for the hair and makeup trial.
  
  Sandy did our spray tans. She was so nice and used organic spray tan. The tan was even and was not orange. It looked great!
  
  I would highly recommend this salon for wedding hair and makeup and wedding pampering. They are great!

  Joy and Daniel styled the hair of my five bridesmaids, my flower girl, my mother-in-law, and myself (bride) on my wedding day. They did a superb job. They were both so talented, professional, and efficient. You could tell they have tons of experience as they knew the look I was going for for my entire bridal party after just a little direction. My hair was gorgeous and it held up all night long. I would highly reccommend their services to everyone!

  J. Russell salon was AMAZING on my wedding day! They did my hair and makeup along with my bridesmaids', and we could not have been happier! I recommend them to everyone! Especially Joy Fields and Jamie Anderson!!!

  You cannot go wrong with Chip and Joy as your hair and makeup team. They were above and beyond on the day of and stayed late to touch up the entire bridal party until moments before the ceremony. They are extremely talented and professional and I have very high standards. Thanks again for everything!

  I went with Ally Scott from J Russell Salon in Palm Desert for my wedding hair and make up services. She was wonderful! Her and her team (Vea Serna and Courtney Warren)arrived on time and were fun, funny, and polite. We were all laughing and having a good time. They didn't seem to be rushing us along at all and yet we finished sooner than expected and looked like a million bucks! All of my girls LOVED how they looked...including the Moms. We just got access to our professional photos and even after a looooong day in warm weather, we all still looked great. I couldn't have been any happier with their service!
  
  She had the girls bring in inspiration photos of looks we liked and gave us exactly what we requested. They were good about offering suggestions to make us look even better.
  
  I met with Ally a couple of months before my wedding for a trial run and was so pleased. She understood the exact look I was going for. She took tons of photos of my hair and make up from different angles, as well as the products used and created a file of me on her phone so that on the day of, she had no doubts about what she did before and was able to recreate it. She also asked me to let her know how my hair and make up held up after the trial so she could make any adjustments necessary for the wedding. ((If you can, doing a trial run for your hair and make up is a must. That way you won't have any surprises on your wedding day.))
  
  Their rates were reasonable and they even came to the hotel we were staying at which was huge because trying to get 8 girls plus 2 Moms to a salon would have been crazy.
  
  If you go with her, please let her know that Jackie, her May 4, 2013 bride referred you :)
  
  I also want to add that Mandy Gomez was so sweet and helpful with getting everything scheduled for my wedding services. She is the bridal appointment coordinator. My whole experience with J Russell was just great!

  Chip Tuvman (make-up) and Joy Fields (hair) were a pleasure to work with. They made me and my bridal party look and feel amazing! They are both very professional yet fun to be around, which is important since you end up spending quite a bit of time with each of them on the wedding day.

  Ally at J Russell was a life saver! I had a bad hair and makeup trial the day before my wedding at a different salon. At the last minute, my sister and I were both able to get into J Russell where they treated us like queens for the day. Ally listened and consulted on the perfect hair and make up for my wedding day. She made me look effortless and natural ala Grace Kelly and January Jones. My sister and I walked out looking like better versions of ourselves; just what I wanted on my wedding day. My hair and makeup held up for 12 hours in 100 degree weather. You get what you pay for with hair and makeup and Ally is worth every penny!

  Joy Fields - hair & Chip Tuvman - makeup - AMAZING FANTASTIC PHENOMENAL. Not only were they both incredibly sweet & so calming to be around on a very hectic morning, they are both incredibly talented & creative and really listened to what we wanted. We did a trial run which made the big day go so smoothly. True professionals - HIGHLY recommend both Joy & Chip.

  Joy and her hair and make up team came on-site to my wedding venue to do hair and make up for me and 15 others (10 bridesmaids, mothers, grandmothers, ect.). They did an absolutely amazing job, worked for hours without breaks to get everyone beautiful on time, and were even willing to take last minute add ons - Some of the girls hesitant to get make up done changed their minds when then they saw what a great job the make up artists did with others.
  
  Joy did my hair and Vea my make up. I've had my hair done for many weddings and never particularly liked it, I LOVED my hair at my wedding. Vea also did an amazing job I would highly recommend them or any of their team members.
