  Jamaya was amazing to work with! From day one, she made me feel like she had my best interest as the bride at heart. She was open to my feedback on my look and put me at ease at all times. My trial with her was so enjoyable, and she was such a breath of fresh air on the wedding day, chatting with me when things in the bridal suite were getting hectic and keeping me focused. She even followed us to our first look location to touch up my makeup and take some BTS shots to share with me. My look was flawless! Even better than my trial. I've never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day, and much of that is thanks to Jamaya, her craftsmanship, and her professionalism. Jamaya provided makeup services for all of my bridesmaids, which I gifted to them. She brought a second artist with her who was just as wonderful and a great addition to our day. I highly recommend Jamaya to any bride who wants to feel her best!

  I got married in October and Jamaya did the makeup for me, my two sisters and my mom. It was beyond what we hoped for. At my makeup trial, I told Jamaya that I wanted to still look like myself but feel flawless. She really took the time to enhance my skin and eyes which was what I wanted. My mom had never had her makeup done by someone else and Jamaya made her feel comfortable and kept things simple while making my mom feel beautiful. She was responsive to my e-mails and really made me feel good. I was very impressed with her set up as well. Very organized, kept things clean and neat and it was apparent she was hard working and a professional. She was able to do the makeup for all four of us well within our time limits for the morning of the wedding and was willing to come and travel to our house to do our makeup. I would recommend her to anyone!!!

  Jamaya was very professional! She came during the bridal trial and listened to my needs and gave me a great look for my special day. During the day of the wedding we had a total of 14 ppl including me
  That needed makeup, her and another artist from her company came and did an amazing job on everyone! We all looked flawless and were picture perfect.

  Jamaya did my wedding day makeup and I absolutely loved it. Jamaya was professional, had high quality product, flexible and easy going. She was a great presence during the pre-wedding preparations. She also went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the look. Even during the make-up trial, she ended up redoing the look from scratch to make sure I was comfortable, as I am not accustomed to a lot of make-up. Would highly recommend her!

  Jamaya is beyond talented... she truly is a gifted artist. Jamaya worked on me and five other ladies on my wedding day, all of whom looked spectacular with their own choice of makeup colors that complemented them. Also, my makeup lasted over 10 hours through all the tears and hugs! Jamaya from her amazing skills, Jamaya is such a pleasure to work with; she is kind, fun, and easy-going also was on time. She was one of the best decisions I made when it came to my wedding. BRIDES, please listen up, BOOK Jamaya for your wedding! Don\'t waste your money on another artist who can\'t blend eye shadows, can\'t shape and fill brows perfectly. You don\'t want to look back at your wedding photos in disappointment of your face. Jamaya is worth way more than she charges and delivers more than you can ask for. You won\'t regret it!   I am VERY HAPPY to have found Jamaya! She did an excellent job with my make-up, my bridesmaids, maid of honor and my mom! My mother can be difficult when it comes to her hair and make-up however she was very pleased with how she looked during the wedding. We all looked beautiful and our make-up looked even better as the day went by. I immediately felt comfortable working with Jamaya from the day that I met her when she did my make-up trial. She is friendly, listened very well to my make-up suggestions and responded to my questions in a timely manner. Since I had to make changes several times with the number of people that she had to apply make-up on, Jamaya remained flexible throughout the process and reminded me that I am "the bride and you can do whatever you want". =) Jamaya is a very talented and skilled make-up artist. I HIGHLY recommend her to every bride.

  Jamaya is FABULOUS. She did my makeup for our engagement photos and our wedding. Not only did she do my makeup, but the makeup of 4 of my bridesmaids, my mother and my mother in law. I've never seen my mother wear makeup and she looked BEAUTIFUL after Jamaya's application. It was very natural and light and my mother LOVED IT.
  
  Jamaya is super friendly, laid back, and makes you feel very comfortable every step of the way. My makeup was on 3 hours before my wedding ceremony actually started and if I may say so myself....I still looked flawless at 1am!!! Bottom line, Jamaya is WORTH IT!! (her assistant is awesome too!)

  Jamaya is a joy to work with. I found her through another talented make up artist (always a good sign), and she did not disappoint. She was charming to talk to during our wedding makeup trial, and a calming present on the wedding day. She listened to my feedback from the trial run, and on my wedding day I LOVED how it turned out. I felt like the best version of me. I didn't look over the top, and I thought the makeup was perfect up close talking to guests but also turned out great in pictures from afar.I can't wait until I have another formal occasion to go to so I can ask Jamaya to work her magic again!

I only had to use blotting powed every once in a while which she got for me. Her bright and bubbly personality made kept my wedding morning light and fun.

  Jamaya did a wonderful job with my makeup for my maternity photos as well as the makeup she did for my cousin's wedding. She is a sweetheart and she has a very caring personality.

After my first make up trial (done at an overpriced salon) turned into a trainwreck, I was worried that I would never find someone to create the make up look I envisioned for my wedding day. My sister was given Jamaya's name by a make up artist at MAC. Jamaya was a pleasure to work with. She put me completely at ease, and really listened to what I wanted. I couldn't have been happier with the way my make up looked on my wedding day.

  She is the BEST!!! She is a professional and personable. She provided a consultations that was so awesome I had her makeup my daughter for her prom prior to my wedding. I highly recommend Jamaya and will be using her services again.

From the moment I saw her website and how it reflected her ability to cater to brides of multiple styles, races, and orientations, I knew without a doubt that we needed to have her as our Makeup artist. She made my makeup flawless and it stayed on my face throughout the entire event, even through my tears and sweat. We are so very happy with our decision to hire Jamaya and will highly recommend her services.

  Jamaya was fantastic! She took extra special care in discussing what looks I liked and in matching the right products to my sensitive, problem skin. My photos look fantastic and I'm really pleased. She also did great work on my bridesmaids and was really flexible with scheduling.

  BRIDES BEWARE: I got engaged in March this year and in September, began my search for the perfect makeup artist. Having never had my makeup done before, I was super excited and so I began asking friends for referrals & combing through bridal websites to find a great artist.
  
  After my wedding coordinator recommended Jamaya Moore I visited her website and was blown away by her work. So I reached out to her immediately. She replied with her pricing and we struck up a dialogue about my wedding. I was planning on having my makeup done as well as treating my seven bridesmaids and the moms for a total of over $1,000 worth of services. At first, Jamaya seemed excited to work with me and she suggested I schedule my trial for a day I would really be able to show it off so I made an appointment for December 12, the day of my company’s annual holiday party.
  
  On December 3, I reached out to Jamaya to confirm my trial. No reply. I waited a few days and then followed up with a second email as well as a phone call and voicemail. No reply. I then sent a Facebook message and left another voicemail. No reply. At first, I found myself making excuses for Jamaya, but after visiting her social pages and seeing plenty of activity, it was clear that for some reason, Jamaya was making a choice to simply not return any of my messages.
  
  As I write this review, I’m still not quite sure why that is. Throughout all of our communications I was nothing but complimentary of her work and showed such enthusiasm at the opportunity to work with her. Had she needed to reschedule I would have completely understood! So after making an appointment over 2 months in advance, I was left without anyone to do my makeup for my annual holiday party - I never even received so much as a message to say “I’m sorry. I’m no longer available.”
