    James is definitely a rare find! He is the best photographer I have ever used!! I highly recommend him, as do almost all of my guests that have complimented me on the wedding photos! He will make sure that you are happy and he mill make sure that everything is perfect!! Will use him again in the future!

    James was great at not only photographing us, but helping make sure our extensive family all had the opportunities to take pictures. He was creative & friendly. He was fantastic at getting some creative shots!

    I cannot say enough good things about James & his stellar talent. We chose James as our photographer for wedding photos after we did an engagement session with him . James was professional & prompt during our session & wedding. I could not be more thrilled with our photos. As someone who hates having their picture taken James made me feel at ease instantly. For our engagement photos James was not just our photographer but a tour guide as he knew the property like it was his own. He was very excited to show us around and the pictures we got were truly special & one of a kind. For our wedding he was a trooper as it was the hottest day on record for that time of the year. Not to mention tension was running high. I was very a nervous bride & not because I was getting married, but just from the fuss of the day. He had me laughing, which was very calming. Our wedding photos were again so very special and beautiful. James truly captured the day & help to retell the story as it was a blur of a day. Brides James is a must! You can’t go wrong & will not be disappointed!

    Where to begin? My husband and I are sticklers for great service and professionalism. Our rating above should indicate that James obviously brought these traits... but what can't be shared in a simple survey is how much more James the Photographer brought to the table:
    i. LIKEABILITY: It's impossible to not instantly like James. Jeff and I interviewed a half dozen photographers before we met James and we instantly knew. It's been 3 weeks now and our guests are still pinging us about "where did you find that photographer..." talking about how he had this instinct to always be in the right place at the right second to catch a moment, yet seemed to feel like he belonged there the whole time like one of the family.
    ii. CRAFTSMANSHIP: James IS a photographer. This isn't his hobby or a way to make some extra money.     iii. PASSION: I know this sounds a little cheesy, but I can't think of a better way to describe it. After all, what makes someone really good at their job? They love what they do! It was apparent from the moment we met James, through engagement photos, and well after the wedding, that this man loves what he does for a living. The evidence is in the joy he shares every time he catches a great shot.
    iv. FLEXIBILITY: I had a friend who wanted amazing artistic pictures for her wedding, and I had another friend who just wanted a bunch of "real-life moments" captured for hers. Me, I kind of wanted a mix of both. The great thing about James is that he had the skill to provide the former, and the willingness to make my wedding book be exactly what I wanted too (lots of non-posed pictures celebrating the moment). James had the experience to excel without my input, but ultimately felt like both a partner and frankly a friend throughout the process!

    James was simply amazing. He met with me before the wedding to make sure I felt comfortable with him and of course I was. He was very professional and his photos are outstanding. I can't wait to see how the rest of the photos turn out.

    James took the most wonderful pictures and captured such special moments with the most incredible backgrounds. James took control of the situation when most of us had no idea how we should be posing and he had fantastic picture ideas.. We were blessed to have such a talented photographer on our most special day.

    James was SSSOOOOO flexable I really wished I could have given him a 10! James was so knowledgeable about photography as well, I was beyond impressed and would recommend him to EVERYONE!

    James was amazing! He met with us before our wedding to get an idea of who we are and what we were looking for. He showed up early to check out the venue and come up with ideas of where to get the best shots. He really listened to what we wanted and made sure we got all the shots we were looking for. He brought lots of extras to get really fun shots like a flashlight to do long exposure night time shots and a long monopod to get shots from above. I have had numerous people tell me that we have the best wedding pictures they have ever seen and that is thanks to James. He is professional yet fun to work with and you can tell he really loves his job and has a lot of experience. Great job James, thank you!!!

    We loved working with James and enjoyed the creative ways he worked with us. I would like to have quicker access to the photos to use for the newspaper and other forms of media to announce our wedding but overall, this was an extraordinary experience. James was great for the entire 6 hours of our day. He was a fun and professional photographer.

    James did both our engagement and wedding photos and they turned out AMAZING!! He is a wonderful photographer with a natural eye for shots, angles, and lighting. He put us at ease with his funny comments and posed us perfectly. More importantly he knew when not to pose us and took great shots of us naturally interacting. He thought of everything,including taking pictures in the reception hall before the reception started so it would be just the two of us in the rustic hall. He is such a great guy and his prices are extremely low for the quality you get. He drove for our engagement shoot and didn't charge us extra for gas. He offered to come to the weddig earlier than our contract stated if we needed him to. He patiently took great photos of me getting first look shots done with literally everyone in my family. His artistic eye created the coolest shots of my dress, shoes, ring, and centerpieces. One thing I really liked is that he shows you a few pictures on the camera as you're going so you can see how they are coming. Did I mention he also has like four different lenses and a portable flash so that the lighting is perfect no matter what? During the reception he was able to capture movement so beautifully while we danced, the photos are really incredible. And after dark he took us outside for some really cool light effects. After James captured so many special moments of us he was literally like part of the family. After the wedding not even two days had passed before he sent us a sampling of his favorite pictures and only a week later they were all uploaded. They were so beautiful we looked through all 1000+ pictures and cried. Tears of happiness of course :) The photos were expertly retouched and to some he added effects that made them look so classic and beautiful. I can't say enough good things about James.

    Great services and loved how the photos turned out. James made our engagement photos spectacular with his ideas. We are horrible at coming up with ideas to make great photos but James had all the right ideas that brought such life to the pictures.

    **Update** Had James again to take photos of our wedding and with the ones we have already seen, we could not be any happier with how they turned out. James is great to work with and always has the right ideas for amazing pictures. The misses is going to have James perform any future photos for the family or any other events that memories will want to be preserved.

    J T P captured all of the Traditional Wedding shots; but more importantly; he was able to capture very unique & modern ones based upon the information given before & during the (session) or event. He definitely does "Put The Focus on You"! He pays close attention to details that is easily recognized when looking through your personalized photo story book.
    I encourage you contact him & schedule a Consultation! There is so much more to see that truly showcases his talents that is not the website.
    Especially his most recent sessions taken in the Lowcountry. James has a way to make you feel very comfortable in front of the camera without feeling "fake". It almost makes me want to relive my wedding day again, just to be in the spotlight! Thank you so much JTP

    I would recommend James the photographer to anyone! He was awesome at telling us how to pose/stand, and he knew exactly how to work the lighting. There wasn't one picture that I did not like. James was also very creative. My husband and I had nothing but great things to say about James the photographer. The first thing everyone says when they see our photos is that we had a great photographer.

    Very nice and friendly guy. Makes you and everyone at the wedding comfortable. Had fun with the bridal party and knows his job.
