  Jamie Lee and his company Jamie Lee Photography were our photographers for our wedding at the Queen Mary in May.  We could not be happier.  From start to finish, Jamie was the perfect choice for us. After our first interview, he impressed us so much we took a one-minute break from our phone call, conferred, and decided to hire him on the spot. He understood our concept of how we wanted our wedding to be presented in pictures and his artistry made it come to life. Jamie is a true artist with his photography - creative, talented as well as being super organized and technologically advanced beyond what we thought was possible. From the initial interview, he immediately understood how we wanted our wedding to be presented through pictures.  The Queen Mary is a spectacular venue, but it requires a lot of planning and understanding of its space, angles, and lighting.  Jamie and his assistant were always in the right place to capture the right moment with the perfect lighting, framing and background.
  We got our photographs back in only a couple of weeks, way ahead of schedule. The clarity and vision of the photographs was exceptional, as if they were a series of stills from a movie shoot. We happily look at them over and over and have blown up many to frame in our home.  Our friends and family say his work expertly captured the light-hearted spirit of our event.  He came out to the Queen Mary hours early to ensure everything was presented in the light and vision of what he had, even though he had photographed that venue many times earlier.  His work is/was exceptional.  Wow!  Top possible rating!!!

  Jamie Lee and his company Jamie Lee Photography were our photographers for our wedding at the Queen Mary in May.  We could not be happier.  From start to finish, Jamie was the perfect choice for us.   I had engagement photos done with Jamie and let me tell you, Jamie was FANTASTIC. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE our engagement pictures. look no further when you're looking for a photographer. We had to postpone a couple of times because of the cold weather but even during the day of it was veryyyy cold but you can't even tell in the pictures. Jamie gave great pointers and my fiance and I were very pleased with the pictures. I have had friends and family tell me that our pictures were the best engagement pictures they had seen. I would very much recommend them!

  Me and my fiance took our engagement photos with Jamie and it couldn’t have been a better experience! We didn’t really want that very traditional look so we picked him because of how natural his pictures all looked. He completely understood what we were after and our styles meshed perfectly. When we say the photos they were wildly beyond our expectation. Jamie was also a pleasure to work with, just very fun and casual and really very talented. I look forward to the wedding photos!

  Jamie was recommended to us by a good friend’s sister and choosing him was probably the best decision we made for the wedding. From start to finish Jamie was so accommodating and laid back. Jamie has a great eye for really moving and emotional photos. My husband is really shy in front of the camera and was a bit anxious about it, but Jamie had him loose and having fun and playing games to make him laugh. I really appreciated the extra effort and his ability to relate. I could see how this helped put so much natural emotion into the photos. I definitely plan on using him again for future photoshoot!

  Picking a wedding photographer was one of the hardest parts of planning our wedding, but when we found Jamie we knew that we had found the right person to document our special day. We honestly could not have been more satisfied with Jamie’s pictures. He was very professional, extremely accommodating, and takes absolutely remarkable pictures. Jamie knows how to capture the moment perfectly. Our wedding was later in the day and one of the first things he said was to see if we wanted to go oceanside just before the sunset. That timely decision really created so much fun that my husband and I had together playing along the areas of the beach and the photos came out looking so soft and romantic. We actually have an image that we ordered as a canvas that is on display in our living room so we see it every single day.

  After looking for months online we finally found Jamie and I can say we made a perfect choice. He made us feel really comfortable throughout our entire time together even though we were nervous about taking directions. He was all about making us happy! You can tell he loves what he does and he is incredibly talented at it. We will definitely be coming back for our maternity photos. Thank you Jamie!

  When I was planning my wedding, I knew that finding the right photographer for us was one of the most important decisions to make. I wanted to make absolutely sure that we would have beautiful pictures to remember every detail because so much of our wedding included personal handmade items that held a sentimental value. I also wanted to make sure that all the important emotions throughout the day would be captured during the ceremony and reception. I will never regret choosing Jamie as my photographer. He is a pro through and through and he is also very fun and lively and get the complete attention of a crowd. Thanks to Jamie we have engagement and wedding photos that we love and can cherish forever. We would highly recommend Jamie to be your wedding photographer or any other special event.

  We saw numerous photographers for our wedding. Jamie stood out quite a bit because he had amazing work and seemed much more likely to capture that all the littled planned moments which we had a lot of on the wedding day.
  
  Jamie was very professional at the wedding, not overly pushy but also knew how to direct a wedding party when needed - which at some weddings photographers are not very good at and it makes things really frustrating. He was also very calm and collected and was able to fit in with the crowd at the hotel room.
  
  I Highly suggest Jamie for your photo and certainly wedding photo needs.

  Jamie shot our May Wedding at the Queen Mary in Long Beach. The event coordinator there gave us Jamie’s name as a recommendation. We saw his photos online and fell in love with the photos we saw and reached out to him.   The photos that Jamie took throughout both the engagement and wedding day were just awesome. But not only that, they were really reflective of our personalities and how we naturally were with each other. I was so appreciative of this and feel it was mainly due to him making an effort to get to know us in the months leading up to the wedding through phone calls, coffee meetups and scheduling meeting.   There are not enough superlatives to describe how amazing Jamie and his second shooter are. We hired them for our wedding this last June and from our first contact until they sent us our photos they were the absolute best. I am not going to pretend to have an intricate understanding of photography, but the pictures came out beautiful. They use a photojournalist style, which you can get a feel for from the portfolios and blog on their site. They have great eyes in that they seem to know exactly what to look for an in what angle and during the important parts, they seemed to just pop up out of nowhere and be everywhere at once! Also, they were really game to experimenting with different poses that we asked them to do during the wedding day which I felt was very cool. They seemed much more sophisticated than the typical wedding photographers I was used to seeing. They were an absolute pleasure to work with.

  I knew that photography was very important to our wedding, but I only realized after working with Jamie that the photographer is just as important as the pictures they will create.   Jamie’s work is just incredible! He captured the most beautiful moments during our wedding and was such a relaxing person to be around. He really has a gift of making you feel comfortable throughout the entire process especially considering I was so stressed out.   We had Jamie photograph our wedding in June of 2016. He was not only a great photographer and delivered beautiful images, but he was really responsive and organized! I was stressed beforehand because my wedding had a lot of different locations for different part of the day but they laid out the timeline perfectly. When he arrived to shoot on the day of, all the stress went away because I knew exactly how the day was going to run and it was pretty much exactly how it was planned out. It was really nice not having to worry about the photography and being able to trust in him. It really did make the rest of the day that much better and without Jamie as my photographer who knows how my day would have went.

Our friends and family keep raving about them, especially the ones of us together. During the reception there were so many great moments that Jamie caught even though even we weren’t aware of it.   We’ve worked with Jamie for over two years. After our wedding on June 14 2015, he’s also captured our little daughter since she was a newborn. She is now two. Jamie has an amazing eye, is really patient, and is always eager to capture everything that comes to his head. I love the comfortable and natural approach to his photography that makes us feel like we are always just hanging out!

  Jamie was my wedding photographer back in 2014. He was very professional had so many ideas throughout the day and captured so many silly and fun moments. My husband and I still enjoy our pictures and our album is on full display on our coffee table. Everyone that comes and sees it always comments on it!
  
  3 years and one kid later, we decided to hire Jamie for a family photo shoot. When we saw him again, he hadn’t changed at all. The photoshoot was so much fun, just like I remember. It was a beautiful relaxing day and Jamie managed to get so many great shots of us that when I saw them was genuinely surprised. I didn’t remember things being that beautiful, LOL. I would definitely recommend Jamie as both a wedding photographer and for regular shoots as well.
