  Great tunes, great vibes

  Jason Parker and his band were our #1 choice for our wedding, and they did not disappoint! Really great music, including several special requests we made, plus a selection of classic jazz and fun covers. Their musicianship is outstanding, but they were also easy to work when we were planning things, and flexible during the wedding when we had to move our ceremony inside where they were setting up! All around awesome guys who really brought the fun (and occasionally funk) to our wedding. A top 5 best moment (in a night full of them) was watching Jason let our toddler nephew experiment with the valves on his trumpet while he played - too cute! Recommend JPQ to anyone who appreciates good music and good people.

  Made our wedding special

  These guys are consummate professionals. Easy to work with, talented musicians - they made our wedding SO special. We wanted a processional and recessional song played by the band and they killed it. So beautiful, all the guests were in love with the music. I highly recommend them!

  Above and beyond my expectations

  Jason Parker Quartet was one of the best bands I found online during my research and wow did they deliver! All communication was seamless, and when the day of my wedding arrived they were there early and everything was beautiful! They played both our ceremony and reception. My husband and I requested a couple special songs which they played beautifully! If your looking for something unique to make your event tasteful, don’t look any further, this is your band!

  Jason Parker's talent as a Trumpeteer and band leader is just part of what he and the JPQ bring to your wedding day! This group of musicians are not some run-of-the-mill lounge band, but truly talented artists who seem to play with their hearts, too. Our guests have continued to rave and rave about them to us. I wish my wedding had been longer just so there had been more time to listen to their music!

We gave them free range on what they played, and asked them to learn songs for our first dance and our parent dance. They played them beautifully (thinking about it is making me tear up a little!). Everyone enjoyed the music and I loved the classy vibe that they lent to the dinner and reception. It was perfect for us and our venue (MV Skansonia). My husband handled the communications with them, and said they were responsive, though late for a meeting. It didn't end up being an issue, they were on time on the day and took care of everything we needed them to. I didn't have to worry about the music aspect at all - what more could you ask for! :) On the business end, the terms were very clear and payment was really easy. Overall, I would definitely recommend them if you want live music for your wedding.

  The Quality of the sound was pretty good, but you can hear alittle static sound from the microphone. Great on time and come really well.

  Overall Jason's band was great. They were able to play Brazilian jazz tunes for our reception (my husband is from Brazil) which made for a great ambiance. He did miss our first meeting but appologized profusely and was very on top of things after that. Great guy, great music.
