  Beautiful and delicious

  Jason did a phenomenal job designing and creating a beautiful cake for our wedding. He is talented and professional and all the guests agreed the cake tasted fantastic and looked stunning - it was exactly what we wanted. We don't think we can make it to our one year anniversary before we eat the top layer in our freezer… I wholeheartedly recommend Jason Reaves.

  Cake Genius

  Jason not only did our wedding cake, but he helped me to surprise my husband with a custom groom's cake. Let me tell you, both cakes turned out far better than I could have ever imagined. Jason's artistry and attention to detail is out of this world. Yes, he's expensive, but he's worth every penny. On top of that, he's a really nice guy. I hope to work with him again in the future.

  Jason is more than a pastry chef - he is an artist. From the cake tasting through the presentation of the cake at the wedding ceremony, Jason was very attentive to the desires of the bride and groom. His sketches illustrated exactly what the couple was looking for and the cake did not disappoint us. Excellent flavor.

  Jason is an incredibly talented pastry chef! Far and away the best in the Middleburg/Loudoun County area. We had a wonderful tasting with him at Salamander Market and selected the Tres Leches cake for our June 2013 wedding. The tasting is insane! You get to try a ton of flavors and there is A LOT of cake, so bring a friend or two in addition to your fiance!
  
  Jason was very flexible as we changed our minds on the shape and design of the cake throughout our year of wedding planning, and he always responded to my emails or calls in a thorough, timely fashion. Jason is up to any challenge, so think outside of the box with him! If you see something you love on Pinterest or on some wedding blog, bring it to him! He builds dragon cakes for goodness sakes! My only regret is that we kept it pretty safe, but the cake he created for us was still BEAUTIFUL. It had fresh berries around every tier and sweet little succulents tucked here and there in the smooth, butter cream frosting.
  
  Jason is obviously a perfectionist, so he delivers the cake and sets it up on your wedding day himself. One of my favorite little touches is he takes a photo of every cake he does and puts it on his Facebook page. Follow him so that you can see everything he does: he really is unbelievably talented.
  
  The only reason we didn't give Jason a perfect five stars is that we felt our cake on our wedding day wasn't quite as delicious as the one we had at the tasting. We guessed it was because he is able to do a sheet cake for the tasting, whereas our wedding cake was, obviously, a tiered cake with much more frosting on it. Just want to give fair warning to other brides and grooms that it will be a little different, but still delicious!
