Cake was amazing but that was about it
When we met Jennifer at our cake tasting she was nice and helpful when it came to picking out flavors. We even changed our minds a fews weeks later and emailed her to switch the flavor of one tier and she was able to do this with no problem! We then emailed her a few months before our wedding asking if she would be able to put a small dog figurine (an ode to our own pup) on the cake and make it look like the dog had taken a bite. She thought this was cute and told me it would be no problem. HOWEVER, when she arrived at the venue day of, both my mother and mother-in-law were there to greet her as I was taking photos. She placed the cake on our cake stand and tried to leave without putting the dog figurine onto the cake. When both moms stopped to question her, she complained the dog figurine was too big and she couldn't put it on the cake because it wouldn't fit on the ledge of the 3-tiered cake that I requested. She complained that I didn't tell her the figurine would be that big (but she never asked the size or told me to order it a certain size). Both moms told Jennifer that my husband and I were really looking forward to that part of the cake and that she agreed to do it already so she had to at least try. She finally took the cake off the cake stand and placed the figurine on the ledge of the 2nd tier with ZERO issues; it fit just fine. She THEN said she couldn't put the cake back onto the cake stand that she specifically told me to purchase at the time of the tasting. The cake was AMAZING and people raved about it don't get me wrong, but I do not appreciate the attitude and lack of professionalism Jennifer showed. If you could get the cake without the unprofessionalism and the attitude I would say absolutely go for it, it was soooooo good. Unfortunately, I'm not sure anyone should have to deal with that kind of attitude the day of their wedding regardless of how good the cake was.
