  Finding the right photographer was critical for our wedding. Photography was one of my wife's highest priorities, but we had a problem: I hate having my picture taken. I feel awkward, I don't feel like my smile looks genuine, and it all seems like a stiff, formal affair that's unnatural and forced. I felt absolutely none of that with Jeannie Guzis. My wife and I simply gush about how wonderful the experience and the photos turned out. Jeannie really took the time to get to know us, and to let us get to know her, so when the time came, everyone was comfortable. She put together an amazing package that included both engagement and wedding pictures with herself and another photographer. Her directions were clear and simple, and she really let us be ourselves. She understood my anxiety and hurried through the formal pictures without rushing herself or my wife and me. She was also able to calmly and professionally wrangle all the extended family members, and got far less annoyed than my wife and I when she repeatedly had to ask a certain father-in-law to take his transition glasses off. She made wonderful use of the spaces, of nature, of light, of framing, of focus, everything you want in well-composed pictures.
  When she sent us a link to the photos, we were absolutely blown away. She took us right back to the emotion and joy of the day, while highlighting little details and moments that had blown by. What we loved most about working with Jeannie was how professional she is. She was the biggest help in planning out the schedule for the day, and her spreadsheet allowed us to plan the entire day. She knew, down to the minute, how long she would need for the different photos, and was able to make recommendations based off of years of experience that made the day run so much more smoothly. When things got off schedule she was able to quickly adapt and change course because she knew ahead of time what our priorities were. A wonderful experience and fantastic results!

  I know I did not want my photos to look staged, or be formal and traditional in anyway. However, I needed to find someone who could do both traditional and modern - to appease the parents and in-laws (:
  The choices for photography were quite overwhelming for me, considering I had to plan my wedding about 400 miles away from my venue.
  I was so happy that I came across Jeannie's work. In her galleries I saw a full spectrum of emotions - joy, pride, whimsy... and I knew that is exactly what I wanted captured on my day. All of our conversations went so smoothly over phone and email. She was even willing to travel to do our engagement photos - made my life so much easier! I could not recommend her enough whether you want something classic and traditional, or modern and offbeat.

  Working with Jeannie was in three words: EASY, FUN, & INCREDIBLE. From when we first met she made you feel like you've known her your entire life. It was so easy to tell Jeannie what our goal was for our Wedding Photos and who we are as a couple. She came up with great settings to capture our love and our fun side, too! Looking at the pictures after the wedding was an experience that I'll never forget. Jeannie gave us on or our favorite wedding gifts: THE BEST WEDDING PHOTOS EVER! We treasure the candid moments, the family pictures, and the moments we missed at the wedding and were able to see after the wedding! Overall, Jeannie is a gem and it was an honor to have her be our photographer! We've kept in touch and have a feeling that we will stay that way for a long, long time.

  Jeannie has an amazing eye and our wedding pictures were beyond what we had expected. She is very professional and easy to work with. We were not very organized and did not really provide her with much guidance on what pictures we wanted but she caught all the important moments and details that I hadn't even thought of. We received our pictures on CD and she even packaged them beautifully, printing our wedding flowers onto the CD's and some of our pictures onto the CD sleeves. Her attention to detail shows that she really cares about her business and her photographs. I would highly recommend Jeannie, we couldn't be more pleased with her work.

  Jeannie was an absolute joy to work with, and she captured beautiful photos of all the different moments of the day - the preparations, spontaneous run-ins with friends and family in the hotel, posed couples portraits, family formals, the ceremony, reception and dinner, and dancing. Whew! She was a tireless worker and always was moving around with just the right equipment to get the perfect shot -- at the same time, she was completely unobtrusive. My wife and I were *thrilled* with the final CDs of all the photos and had them printed into books to give out to all the relatives. They tell the story of our wedding day perfectly.
  
  I should also add that my wife is also a professional photographer who does portraits and weddings, so we have ESPECIALLY high standards! And Jeannie met them all! She has a great artistic sensibility, and combined with technical proficiency, great cameras and equipment, and a really good work ethic, she's the perfect package for a wedding photographer!

  My husband and I were so lucky to find Jeannie Guzis for our wedding! He and I were aiming were for a low key, stressless day without a lot of decision making on our part. I know, totally not your typical bride. But Jeannie more then delivered for us. Our photos were flawless. I recieve compiments on them every time someone sees one. I honestly could not treasure my pictures anymore and every time I look back, I remember the best day of my life and love that i will have them forever.

  My husband and I were so lucky to find Jeannie Guzis for our wedding! He and I were aiming were for a low key, stressless day without a lot of decision making on our part. I know, totally not your typical bride. But Jeannie more then delivered for us. Our photos were flawless. I recieve compiments on them every time someone sees one. I honestly could not treasure my pictures anymore and every time I look back, I remember the best day of my life and love that i will have them forever.
