Taste Test Event!
We hired JAM catering for our wedding on 11/19/2022. We had our tasting and we are blown away!! Everything was so delicious. My favorite part of the tasting was that the chef come out to greet each of the couples/families at the texting event. He talked to us a little bit about how the wedding day will look from him end. He answered all of our questions and expressed the teams flexibility to meet our wants and need for our big day. We are so excited!!!We hired JAM catering for our wedding on 11/19/2022. Jeff Johnson went above and beyond to make my daughter’s wedding reception perfect and seamless. With his bubbly personality and solid professionalism, he calms all your fears and provides top-notch catering. He told me that it was his job to take care of everything and not to worry! And he certainly came through on his promise! The food looked as good as it tastes too. We received many compliments from our guests.
Jeff was responsive to my questions throughout the planning process. His suggestions for table placements, linens, food, etc are spot on. As well as creating a delicious menu, Jeff orders all tables, chairs, linens and bar ware. His wait staff exude the same charm and professionalism as Jeff. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Jeff the Silent Chef again!

We had Jeff cater our Wedding in September 2017 ,and he was a godsend. I could go on and on about how wonderful, caring, attentive and friendly Jeff was. During all the planning he was a great source of advice and guidance. He gracefully answered all my parents (numerous) questions and was basically our caterer/wedding planner.
Most importantly his food was delicious!! The passed hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour were delicious! And everyone complimented the great dinner. Jeff also provided friendly and attentive bartenders and waitstaff. Everything was so good, our guests were so happy and full, and we are still recieving compliments! Jeff's staff were professional and so attentive and really set up our tables beautifully! Jeff went above and beyond our expectations and really made our day perfect!

This is the first time I've had Jeff cook for me! Usually I'm a server with his catering company and always am blown away by the quality of his food and amazing events. He catered my backyard wedding with 50+ people and everyone couldn't say enough about the food! You'll really understand why he's called "The Silent Chef" when you taste his food, it really does speak for itself.This is the first time I've had Jeff cook for me! We can't say enough good things about Chef Jeff. He catered both our wedding for 85 at our home in Long Beach and the brunch the following morning. He did a wonderful, wonderful job.
We're an older couple, Italian heritage, both good cooks and foodies. So, the food part of the wedding was VERY important to us. I interviewed a dozen caterers, we went to a few tastings and even tried a few local restaurants in the initial planning stages. I was beginning to get worried that we would have to settle for less than we wanted until we met with Jeff. His professionalism and his food put both of our minds at ease and we knew that we had found the person who would cater our wedding to our standards.
The food that we got was all delicious and beautifully presented - crab stuffed fish, pork loin (to die for!), brie and apple stuffed chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus with red peppers and onions, salad, cheesecake, chocolate cups and apple tart. He even provided a kid's menu for the little ones (and the big ones who couldn't pass up chicken fingers and mac and cheese). The brunch the next morning was wonderful as well. Many of the guests raved about the food! And, his wait staff was perfect. Clean, professional and helpful.
Early on, Jeff came to our home to help us decide where to have the dinner, arranged for the tables, chairs, linens, etc. all with no hard sell, just helpful suggestions. And, all of his suggestions were spot-on. It couldn't have gone better! With all of the stresses that a wedding entails, Jeff definitely wasn't one of them. He was responsive, flexible with our many changes and positive and upbeat. He even scrambled some emergency eggs when we had more guests than we expected for the brunch!

Jeff was a pleasure to work with! He was always available to answer questions I had and his food is absolutely delicious. He arrived at my venue, asked a few questions and did his job professionally with a personal touch. The setup was elegant. I cannot rave enough about his service and food. Chef Jeff was AMAZING, people are still asking us about him and how to find him. He offered a custom menu to fit our needs and kept it with in our budget.
