Jeff was a pleasure to work with and made as feel as though it was just my husband and I enjoying our day. He captured the moments we didn't even realize could be captured. The pictures are a great way for us to relive our wedding day over and over. Our friends and family give us compliments on our pictures all the time and talk about what a great photographer we had! If I was to do it all again one thing I know for sure is that I would hire Jeff again without even thinking twice. -

We were extremely glad we choose Jeff as our photographer for our wedding! He has a trove of spontaneous ideas with a great eye for lighting, color and arrangement of people - all while being personable and easygoing. We really enjoyed our hours with him! He worked very hard to capture spontaneous moments of us, friends, family, and kids throughout the day and night without being intrusive. For a wedding in 2004 our family had hired the most highly recommended/ rated photographers in the Chicago area for near 4x the price. Thus our expectations were just naturally quite high due to previous experience. Jeff was able to less intrusively capture great shots and more spontaneous moments than those photographers. We would definitely choose him again for other events! -

Beautiful photos, amazing experience
Jeff is amazing to work with. As an industry professional, I have had the opportunity to work at events alongside Jeff. Beyond his stunning eye, wealth of experience and beautifully finished products, Jeff is a really easy and comfortable guy to be around. The whole experience was really stress free and felt like I was hanging with a friend. I specifically wanted a darker vibe to our photography and Jeff nailed it. Hiring Jeff is one of the best wedding decisions you can make - after saying yes of course! xx -

There aren’t enough good things to say about Jeff. From the onset, we really wanted a photographer who could capture moments, not just superdramatic portraits for Instagram. Plus, because both of our jobs entail working with photographers, we also wanted to find someone we’d actually enjoy hanging out with and feel comfortable around during vulnerable moments (which is, like, 1/3 of the day). Jeff was all of those things, got along great with our friends, helped to soothe nerves/keep things calm and easy, AND got great photos. Nothing looks stiff and the shots really captured the love of the night. Loved working with him!!! -

Pam Sent on 09/30/2017Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jeff!!! Jeff is an amazing photographer and was especially challenged on our wedding day due to pouring rain, but that didn't hinder him at all. He took phenomenal photos that actually captured the rain drops. There are tons of photographers out there and I did my due diligence and spoke and emailed with MANY. But my husband and I ultimately chose Jeff because of the value he was offering in addition to how comfortable we felt after an introductory conversation on the phone. If you're looking for a wedding photographer, I definitely recommend calling Jeff. Thanks again Jeff for capturing our wedding day in such a beautiful manner!!!

Morgan Sent on 01/08/2018Jeff was wonderful. He captured all of our important moments and a lot of fun ones too. He took more photos in the 6 hours I hired him for than any of the other photographers reported taking in the same time frame. We got our pictures back super fast and had a beautiful USB stick to bring to a local print shop, Walmart, etc to print how ever many we wanted.

He worked with us from the beginning to get us comfortable in front of the camera (a tall order for us!), met with us several times to learn about our wedding and what we wanted, made suggestions on what would work best from a flow and timing standpoint, and was in constant communication over email in the months leading up to the big day. By the time we actually got married, Jeff felt like a friend rather than someone we hired. The day of the wedding, he ran all over the place making sure to get tons of candid shots of everyone enjoying the ceremony and the reception. He did all of this while maintaining an awesome sense of humor and really having fun with the process. He then produced truly beautiful shots that allowed us to relive the day and see things that we had missed while they were going on. Not only are the photos stunning but he turned them around in no time at all- it was so nice for us and for our guests to be able to see photos just a couple of weeks after the event. We definitely plan on making Jeff a permanent part of our lives and asking him to capture other big moments! -
User1192974 Sent on 06/09/2013I was lucky enough to have met Jeff a few years ago at work, before he had a photography company, so when I got engaged I asked him for advice and when he offered to shoot our wedding, it was a no brainer! I am so grateful that we were able to use him. We live in Washintgon DC, so didn't do an engagement shoot and he hadn't been to our venue before, but he arrived early to stake the site out and ended up using several areas there. The pictures turned our perfect - he got every shot we asked for and many, many more. I had several guests comment that he was "everywhere" taking pictures, and it shows - its hard to believe one person got all those shots. I think the pictures really capture the feeling of the day (both posed and candids) and several of our other vendors have asked to use his pictures in their promos, speaking to their quality. Additionally, the turn around time was very quick. He had first looks done the day after, and his blog post done before we got back from our honeymoon! Two weeks later we already have most of them online that people can purchase. I would highly recommend Jeff as your photographer!
