Jenn was the most perfect photographer for us. She came recommended from a coworker and when we met her, we fell in love with her- she has an amazing eye to catch photos and moments that most people would not. She was great to work with on the day of- she took charge and led our huge 20 person bridal party on a snowy ridiculous day. She got our photos back in 2 weeks!! And they are the most amazing photos of my life. She got every detail that was important to me, being kind of OCD, she made sure that I got all the photos I wanted through the chaos. Love jenn, I will never need another photographer again! -

I am beyond picky when it comes to photos. I am not a fan of posed photos, and really appreciate a photographer who can make beautiful images out of important moments as they are happening. This intuitive skill is so rare in photographers these days, but Jenn one hundred percent delivers in this area, consistently!
One thing I didn't realize until after my wedding day is that I actually know nothing about wedding days. I don't work in the industry, and although we had spent months and hours planning the day, there's no way to really know what to expect. Jenn is a wedding professional who is experienced in the wedding experience. She kept everyone on track, made everyone feel comfortable, and really led the day. This made me so comfortable! Though I hired Jenn based on her unbelievable talent to capture real moments, I am so pleased that I got a day-of teammate who really cared about making everything perfect for me that day!
I promise if you hire Jenn, you will not be dissapointed! -

User2526364 Sent on 02/03/2016Finding a wedding photographer can be very difficult. There are so many options to choose from, and so much beautiful work out there! I stumbled across Jennifer Jackson's photography while browsing facebook and noticed that she had done the wedding of an old acquaintance. I looked through her featured work which was absolutely stunning. I went to her website and loved the spunk and personality she put forward in her work. She responded to my inquiry right away, and I had a gut feeling she was the one. I am so glad I went with my gut!
The months leading up to the wedding, she was always available for questions. We met once for coffee and I loved getting to know her as she is kind and relatable. She was more than happy to give me suggestions for other vendors--my hair/makeup artist was someone she recommended.
When Jenn and her assistant showed up for the big day, she completely calm and excited for the day. She got to work right away, snapping pics of the girls getting ready while her assistant shot the gentlemen. She did such a great job finding creative ways to capture everything--from the bridesmaids makeup to the shoes, jewelry, and flowers, every picture is unique and beautiful. We did a "first look" where she captured hundreds of beautiful photos. Our photo session had to be cut short due to a sudden thunderstorm (wedding day good luck?) and she handled it perfectly. We went to our venue and took many indoor pictures which turned out beautifully.
Just a few weeks later, I was given a HUGE collection of beautiful photos to download and share. The photos are absolutely gorgeous. 7+ months later and I still look through the collection and discover beautiful photos I hadn't seen the first several times around.
Jennifer Jackson's pricing is VERY reasonable, and the work is incredible. I recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer. -
User2486968 Sent on 12/30/2015Jenn was the perfect photographer. First and foremost - the photos were simply stunning. You can see that for yourself by looking at her portfolio. My husband and I aren't particularly photogenic, so we were a little worried we would pick a photographer based on a portfolio filled with naturally photogenic people, and then be disappointed in our own. But our photos truly were remarkable.
What I think is more useful with this review, however, is to talk about how great Jenn is as someone who is at your wedding. The photos speak for themselves, but you will be hanging out with your photographer a lot on the big day and the photos don't tell you what the photographer is like to hang out with. Jenn is wonderful. She is funny and easy to be around. Even my extremely camera-shy husband was comfortable as she snapped away. On the day of our wedding, my dress broke right before we were supposed to take first look photos. I was on the verge of losing my mind. My wedding coordinator was working on getting the dress fixed, while my mom and MOH were telling me it wasn't a big deal. It was Jenn who talked me off the ledge and came up with the idea of getting a temporary fix for the dress while we waited for the seamstress so that I was able to go do first look photos and see my husband. It was exactly what I needed, and I credit Jenn with me not having smudgy mascara and bright red eyes in all of my photos from a hysterical crying fit. I really can't say enough nice things about her, and we will definitely be calling Jenn for any future photography needs! -
User2028105 Sent on 01/31/2015I came across Jenn after she photographed the wedding of a childhood friend. From the moment I met her, I knew that she would be the perfect person to have around on our wedding day. While I admit that the most important thing to consider when choosing a photographer is that they take beautiful photographs, I am most grateful for everything else that she did for us, even though she didn’t have to.
She became our coordinator, assistant, flower girl distracter, hairdresser, guest and friend. When the florist messed up our flowers, she was there to calm me down and tell me exactly how to hold my bouquet to make it look gorgeous. When the flower girls were running loose with excitement pre-ceremony, she took charge to contain them while getting gorgeous shots. When I forgot my shoes for our outdoor shots, she lent me hers. When I became cold in the January weather, she lent me her gloves. When my hair needed to be freshened up after taking off my veil and being in the cold weather, she teased, curled and sprayed. When my bridesmaids were nowhere in sight, she helped me to bustle my dress so that I could spend time with family before the reception. When I got caught up during the cocktail hour, she found me and made sure that I took the time to appreciate everything that my husband and I worked hard for. When I had NO clue how to cut the cake (it’s not as easy as it sounds), she taught me how. Most importantly, she didn’t make the entire day about posing for pictures. She was quick, she made it fun and she made sure that we were celebrating our marriage at every moment.
We could’ve hired anyone to take photographs of our wedding, but I am so glad that we chose someone who went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect. While, so far, we have only peeked at our photos and haven’t received the final edits, given that our engagement photos exceeded our expectations, I know that they will be perfect. We cannot wait to see them!!!!

She is no ordinary photographer that settles for the easy shots -- she moves, climbs, squats, lies down, and will jump over any hurdle needed to get the shot! She was our photographer for our engagement photos, rehearsal dinner/ beach fiesta and our wedding and there is not ONE thing we would change. She knew what we wanted (aka she listens) and she knew how to make that happen (aka she is really talented!) Jenn is very different from most photographers -- she likes to tell a story through her pictures, not just position those in the picture. She is also super FAST. I had many of our wedding party say how "easy" she made it taking photos (and we sure took alot) and she makes everyone feel comfortable, which makes for better smiles and people being themselves. A bridesmaid of mine said they never really saw her throughout dinner (how she wasn't getting all up in peoples faces) and yet there were TONS of shots.... that is one reason I deemed her the "photoninja" but there was also the moment she got up on a ledge 12 feet about the dance floor to get an ariel shot... She is amazing. We love her. We'll be using her for all of our future photo needs. Look no further. She is the ONE!!! -

I had an extremely small wedding (only 10 guests) and Jenn jumped right in as if she had been a part of our family for years. She made everyone comfortable, and by the end of the night no one wanted her to leave! She took great photos, and I loved that she was great at candid shots because I didn't want all posed photos. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Jenn in a heartbeat!
