We used Jenny Wenny at our wedding and they were fantastic! The cake was beautiful and delicious, and they make a full dessert table with a dozen different options for our guests. The reviews were glowing across the board. My personal favorites were the cake pop and chocolate chip cookie, but they were all amazing. They were so great to plan with as well - caring, communicative, adaptable, everything you would want. Go to Jenny Wenny for any wedding or event! You will not be disappointed. -

The staff at JennyWenny Cakes is incredibly easy to work with and very responsive to any questions and concerns. They kept us updated throughout the process, and never left us feeling forgotten.
The recommended cake flavors that they offer are unique, and/or you can mix and match the cake/fillings/buttercream. Their cakes and desserts are head and shoulders above the other tastings we did, which is why we chose this bakery, not to mention the affordability. Of note - this is a kitchen-only business, in a space shared with another bakery, and you must make appointments for tastings. They offer pick up/take out tastings which is very convenient.
The cakes are rich, moist, and hold up extremely well even after the event! Not only did our wedding cake taste amazing, but it looked picture-perfect as well. The attention to detail is immaculate. They even decorated our wedding cake with fresh flowers and it turned out exactly as I imagined.
I would highly recommend JennyWenny Cakes for any event you are considering them for! -

Highly Recommend Jenny Wenny - Beautiful & Delicious
We LOVED our cake! It looked just like the sample picture I gave to Jenny Wenny, if not better! We did half of the cake (75 slices) in the actual cake, and half sheet cake (75 slices) so the venue could start cutting and serving early (150 total). Our cake was vanilla cake layered with strawberry jam + vanilla cream, vanilla buttercream on the outside. The flavor and moist cake were insanely delicious and more than we could have hoped for. All of our guests loved it. There was more than enough cake to go around so portions were ample. It was a pleasure to do a cake tasting and work with Jenny Wenny throughout -- everything was easy! We were so happy we chose Jenny Wenny! -

Jenny Wenny is absolutely fantastic. Our wedding cake, despite being over a year and a half ago, is still the talk of our family and friends.
They crafted a stunning vegan cake with various flavors for each layer, perfectly aligning with our dinosaur-themed wedding. The cake not only supported dinosaur figurines but was a delicious blend of lemony goodness and different jams between layers. The bottom layer, a chocolate delight with berry jam, was a hit!
Sadly, due to the guests loving it so much, my husband and I missed out entirely! The wedding coordinator couldn't save us a slice as everyone had seconds in a flash. It was heartbreaking for us; all we wanted was a bite of that incredible cake.
However, my birthday became extra special when my mom surprised me with a mini cake and cake-shots from Jenny Wenny. It was an absolute delight, and it reminded us of the amazing taste and service they offer.
Jenny Wenny's talent, attention to detail, and the sheer deliciousness of their cakes are unmatched. Highly recommended for any occasion! Thanks a million for making our wedding memorable, even if we missed out that night. -

Delicious and Gorgeous!
Our cake was gorgeous! Everything we wanted and it tasted delicious too! Jenny and her team were super responsive, gave a great impression when we picked up our cake samples, and were just the nicest people! So happy we picked them to provide my favorite meal at our wedding! -

We got married at Carmel Mountain Ranch Estate, and JennyWenny Cakes was a preferred cake vendor. We enjoyed their cake tasting and sampled many of their cakes & desserts. While we loved so many of their cake flavors, we decided to narrow it down to 3: Hazelnut-Almond with nutella, Funfetti with triple berry jam & strawberry cake with strawberry jam. The hazlenut-almond with nutella was hands down our favorite flavor. It is a premium flavor, but we decided it was worth the money to upgrade to premium. Adding a 4th flavor would have been extra, but if we had chosen a 4th it would have been the chocolate cake. Our guests told us they LOVED our wedding cake. I have a sweet tooth, but sometimes desserts are too sweet for me. The funfetti and strawberry cakes were just the right amount of sweetness, and our guests loved these flavors, as well! My husband and I were extremely happy when we learned we had some leftover cake, as we were not able to eat the wedding cake on our actual wedding day. We were also happy to share the leftovers with our family & friends the following day. I would HIGHLY recommend ordering your wedding cake from JennyWenny. Jenny and her team were very responsive to my emails and questions. Our cake was too delicious to save a slice to freeze & eat next year so we will be ordering a fresh anniversary cake from JennyWenny next year!! -

Thank you, JennyWenny Cakes for wonderful vegan cake and desserts for my wedding.
JennyWenny Cakes was incredible to work with. They went above and beyond in so many ways.
When I would only be in town for 1 day, they coordinated with our wedding planner to have samplers available at a time that worked for us. Samples were ample to get a good idea of what we liked (all minis).
We chose a 3 layer cake. Flavors included:
- Vegan carrot cake with vegan cream cheese frosting. They were flexible to let me customize and use raisins instead of cranberries, as well as to have walnuts. This was insanely good! Very moist. I will say that I could tell a lot of oil/vegan butter was used (based on residue on storage tupperware afterwards).... but for the sake of pleasing guests on a wedding day, fine.
- Vegan vanilla cake with lemon buttercream and berry jam.
^^Overall, both very tasty. Too much frosting:cake ratio in my opinion (the layers of cake were actually relatively thin), but oh well.
For mini desserts we chose:
- Vegan Snickerdoodles. To die for!!!! On our sample day, they were a little dry, but they reassured us this was because they were 1 day old and not kept airtight overnight. In fact, on wedding day, they were spectacular and were very popular.
- Vegan tiramisu shooters. The coffee-soaked cake base was delicious. The cream at the top did not have much of a taste, and when eating them, I scooped that part out, honestly.
- Vegan chocolate mouse trifles with cashew cream. Yum!!
- Vegan mini berry cupcakes. This flavor is insanely, wildly good. You won't be sorry for ordering it.
I also had 2 "odd" requests that they graciously honored. 1. For gluten-free friends, I opted to add a small quantity of gluten free dairy free mini vanilla cupcakes. 2. My wedding day was also my cousin's birthday. For $5, they added a single full-sized berry cupcake to my order so that I could sing happy birthday to her after our cake cutting.
In sum, go with JennyWenny cakes!!! Great vegan options. My only piece of feedback is to increase the cake:frosting ratio in the cakes -- otherwise, they are impeccably great. -

We had the most fantastic experience with Jennywennycakes! Katie and Jenny were so helpful when we were deciding which cake flavors and desserts to have. They were responsive to every question and any changes we had. They made the planning process so easy! The cake and dessert table were absolutely beautiful. Our guests raved about the desserts and especially loved the berry cheesecake cups, dulce de leche macarons, and s'mores tarts. We were so happy with everything and can't wait to order more from them in the future! -

Working with Jenny Wenny Cakes was fantastic. Following our take-out cake tastings we chose two flavors for our wedding cake; strawberry cake with vanilla cream and Swiss meringue buttercream and vanilla cake with vanilla cream and lemon curd. We also added hazelnut praline trifle cups. All were delicious and the cake was beautiful.
The team worked with me to make sure the vision of the cake we wanted was represented perfectly.
I would definitely recommend Jenny Wenny Cakes. -

First and foremost, everything tasted amazing! We got multiple desserts including macaroons, little dessert cups, passion fruit tarts, and of course the cake. Everything looked fantastic! The presentation was top notch. We actually ended up with extra desserts. We had enough for people to go back several times. Not a single type of desert was less than delicious. We also had extra cake which still tasted great for the couple days i was snacking on it. One small thing to keep in mind if you book them is that you have to take the serving dishes back to them or pay an extra fee for someone to pick them up. It's not a big deal but it's something to know. Couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. -

From start to finish we loved everything about working with JennyWenny! They were the first tasting we had and every cake tasting after that fell flat in comparison. They have sooo many options and each one was delicious! Their pricing seemed unreal given the quality of the cake and the intricate details they are able to pull-off! We were lucky enough to work with Katie and she was incredible! She communicated in a way that was friendly, professional, and made us feel like everything was going to be even better than we hoped (which it was!)
When the big day came, the cake looked like it came right out of Pinterest and more importantly it tasted amazing! Our guests raved about it and our only regret is that we didn't save more for ourselves! -

Jenny and team were so wonderful and welcoming from the beginning. We did our cake/dessert tasting and were very pleased with the cake flavor we put together. A few weeks before the wedding, we asked to add a few desserts and this was accommodated as well.
The design we wanted for the cake was exactly what was delivered. It was beautiful! My husband and I knew we created a great tasting cake, but we didn't realize how much our guests would love it too! We didn't expect so many people to say that they were hunting down uneaten pieces set aside for other guests ;)
Jennywennycakes is highly recommended and we will be returning customers in the future! -

DELICIOUS!!! Is all I need to say!! We hired Jenny to make the wedding cake and small bite desserts after several months of reading reviews on line. Being from the Bay Area, we weren't sure what to expect but let me tell you, we were not disappointed in any way!! Communication remotely was easy and efficient and the pricing was incredibly reasonable. We made our way to San Diego in early August for a tasting to pick out our flavors and desserts. WOW!!! We were all blown away about how delectable everything tasted!! Jenny was patient with our asks (for less sweetness here, more chocolate there, etc) and on the day of the wedding, she did not disappoint. In fact, I had been planning on having extra slices to take home after the wedding but our guests ate EVERY SINGLE piece of cake and desserts that were offered!!! Everyone has been raving about how delicious it all tasted, including my husband. Jenny was an absolute pleasure to work with and we are so grateful that she helped us make our wedding day treats come true!!!! -
Marla Sent on 05/30/2018We went with Jenny Wenny Cakes because they were one of the best reviewed bakeries on the website, who were also the only bakery actually willing to make my wedding cake fantasy come true at a reasonable price. Basically I saw on pinterest a cake where once you cut into it you'd see it was BLUE, being that it was one of my wedding colors, naturally I wanted it like that too! We did do a half-tasting of just the cake flavors she could make blue and Jenny was able to make us a beautiful "Blue" Red Velvet Cake along with matching Blue Cupcakes per our request. She had a good system for making payments and great communication throughout the process. We were very happy. All the guest said it tasted great, the only funny part was unfortunately the blue dye made all our guests mouths/tongues turn blue! LOL....I guess that's the price we paid for wanting a blue cake, but fortunately everyone laughed it off :) Thanks Jenny!

Amanda Sent on 10/29/2017This cake exceeded all of our expectations! We wanted our Doctor Who themed wedding to be stunning and classy and this cake fit right in! After meeting with Jenny on the design elements we just let her and her team do their thing, so this was a total surprise on our wedding day. It was absolutely perfect! We dudn’t Have to worry about anything in terms of the delivery. Let’s not forget how amazing the cake tasted! We got so many compliments on the flavors. You can choose to get these little crunchy bits added, and you should! It was s really happy surprise for everyone! I would order from this place again!
