  AMAZING!! Best thing I ever did was book Jessica rice

  Amazing!! I found Jessica and nick through a vendor list at the inn at rancho Santa Fe, in the San Diego area. I talked to Jessica over the phone and instantly felt so connected to her and put down our deposit for engagement photo shoot and our wedding day. My now husband is very shy and reserved so I was a little worried about how our engagement photos would turn out. The minute we got there, we both felt so comfortable and so happy, I’d never seen him like that with new people before. Jessica and nick aren’t only so talented but they are amazing people, you feel like you’ve been friends with them for years.
  Our first planned wedding was canceled due to Covid, I told Jess what was going on and I parted ways with my wedding planner as I was going to do something very small. At that point, Jess was always checking in, sending ideas, and reassuring me. I felt so grateful to have her to lean on and navigate planning a wedding in a pandemic. After all the stress and looking around, we booked a private property for an intimate wedding. Jessica and nick came on the Friday before my wedding to check out the property and to see us. On the day of my wedding, Jessica and nick were there at every moment taking photos and making all of my guests/bridal party feel like family. My sneak peek photos look amazing and I cannot wait to receive the rest.

  Beautiful + timeless

  I first met Jess + Nick at my best friend's proposal - once I saw the photos I instantly fell in love! She went on to photograph her wedding and she made us all in the bridal party feel so comfortable! She had a vision and tells you exactly where to go and what to do, which I love! When it was my turn, I knew immediately I wanted to Jess + Nick to capture our special day! Their style is so bright, natural, and timeless. We had so much fun with Nick + Jess every step of the way and are so thankful that they captured all the beautiful moments of our day.

  Best Wedding Planning Decision

  Choosing Jess Rice Photography was the absolute best wedding planning decision we made. Jess was amazing in the months and days leading up to our destination wedding. She was helpful, proactive, and so easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding day, we just knew we were in good hands! Jess made the remote planning and organizing so easy on us and we are so grateful to her. As for the wedding day, Jess and Nick captured our wedding so perfectly. They did not miss a single moment. From the details, to the requested shot list, to the naturally occurring and personal moments, they really captured everything. We were so comfortable with Nick and Jess; they really were so fun to work with and made us feel so special. They were such an important part of our day and we are forever grateful that we were able to find Jess Rice Photography! We received sneak peaks and access to our full online gallery very timely. We were completely blown away by all of the beautiful photos. Everyone who has seen our wedding album is so impressed and complimentary. We will cherish these photos forever!

  Jessica and her husband Nick were recommended to us by a friend of my daughter. Our initial meeting with them was in our local coffee shop in town. They were both very friendly, professional and were able to answer all of our questions. I was planning and attending to the majority of the wedding details myself since my daughter was out-of-state most of the engagement time. Therefore, I needed someone that I felt comfortable with and confident in their abilities. Best decision we ever made!
  
  With Jessica and Nick both taking pictures during the wedding ceremony and reception, we ended up with so many beautiful pictures. They were extremely organized, easy to work with, and very professional. Everything went smoothly and they worked well with the other vendors and the venue staff.
  
  Jessica and Nick had all kinds of ideas for interesting, unique and beautiful photos of the entire wedding party and the bride and groom photos. The photos were absolutely beautiful and they were ready for viewing within two weeks! I would highly recommend them!

  Jessica was an incredible vendor! She is personable, flexible, and innovative. She is professional and so detailed oriented. I had a large bridal party and family and she communicated with them well, handled them so gracefully and did an excellent job of coordinating everyone. She is clear, efficient and prepared while still being so personal and joyful. We also received our photos quickly and loved her attention to detail! We could not have been more thrilled with her service and would hire her again every time!

  I actually found Jessica Elaine through the Big Fake Wedding Expo several months ago and we had an immediate connection. She was so friendly, kind and helpful with every question I asked (and trust me I asked a lot!). My fiancé Patrick & I decided to move forward with an engagement photo shoot to make sure we liked her style and that we were a good fit. The whole experience was so easy and so much fun with Jessica. We had dinner with Jessica and her husband Nick, who is the second shooter, to discuss the engagement photo shot list, outfits, etc. and it turned into a fabulous evening of getting to know each other. We left that dinner knowing we were in the best hands. Jessica also set up a pinterest board for me where she suggested outfits, poses, hair styling, etc. This extra support was so thoughtful and went above and beyond. And they were so flexible when it came to our ideas, and even let us throw confetti! Day of the engagement shoot could not have gone more smoothly. My fiancé is not a big fan of being in front of the camera but Nick & Jessica made us feel so comfortable and we had SO MUCH FUN! Laughing, dancing, and drinking champagne made our photos turn out stunning and they truly felt like us! They didn’t feel staged, and they didn’t feel forced. We love our photos because they look like us on our very best day. We now consider Jessica & Nick to be our friends and couldn’t imagine anyone else being our photographers on our special day.

  Jessica really took the time to figure out what we wanted in our pictures and had a plan to make sure everything went smoothly. She's really easy and fun to work with, and she made the entire bridal party and family feel comfortable. We are so happy with how the pictures came out!

  We loved working with Jess for our wedding day. Jess is a huge exhorter which makes taking pictures really fun. She has a way of relaxing you and turning what could be stressful time of pictures into a lot of fun. We were so pleased with all the shots we got of our wedding day and highly recommend her.
