My husband and I had our wedding reception here in July. For a small reception like ours (60-80 people), Jim Miller Hall is a wonderful venue. Tables and chairs (and there are plenty of both) are included in the extremely affordable rental price. The hall has an enormous basement kitchen, with 3 full size refrigerators, for any food preparations or catering; I prepared most of the food myself, with some help from friends and family, so this was a total blessing for me. We were able to have access to the hall the night before the reception and the whole day of, which gave us plenty of time to set up and decorate. There are some quirks about the venue--the spooky old graveyard outside, the retro pictures of barber shop quartets on the walls--but if you're anything like us, those quirks made the reception unique and fun, and regardless, the hall is a lovely and comfortable place to celebrate your special day.

I was so scared my venue was going to be so small. But it turned out perfect. I loved it, we set it up really nice. The clean up service with the church messes up our order forgot our ice bucket, but once we called they brought ot right over

Jim Miller Hall is a cute old converted church in Jeffersontown Louisville. I absolutely loved the outside and it was great for a small wedding, and we used it for the reception as well. We had about 80 guests and it was cozy, I wouldn't want over 100 people in there.

Since it is smaller we did a switch over, set up chairs for the ceremony and tables for the reception. We had games and drinks outside for our guest to enjoy while the tables and decorations were set up. It was a little crowed with a photo booth, but it worked out.

It was great on price, one of the least expensive for Louisville that I saw. I liked it overall, the only note I would make is the venue owner suggests to use Love Weddings (owned by the venue owner's wife) for decorations, linen rentals, and things like that. It was a nightmare working with Love Weddings, incredibly unprofessional, rude, prices were ok, but I'd pay more not to have to deal with someone so incompetent.

The venue was a little small for big weddings, but it was good for my group of about 100 or a little more. The price was excellent. The outside of the building, which is an old church, was beautiful!!
