  Jody was an absolute lifesaver for my wedding. My regular hairstylist who was going to do my hair dropped at the last minutes because my wedding was Mother's Day and I was left needing someone two months before the event. Jody had done my best friend's hair at her wedding and I was able to get in touch, and she fit me after another client with her coworker. She was able to schedule me for a hair trial almost immediately where we really hit it off (she's very outgoing and easy to talk to). I later realized I needed someone to do my makeup too, and she very nicely agreed to do that as well. By some miracle she and her partner fit everything in within my timeline on the wedding day and it was absolutely perfect. I think my mom and sister were really suspicious that I was getting makeup done thinking it would be over the top, but when they saw it they were so impressed with how natural but "enhanced" it was. I felt really beautiful and I'm so happy with all the pictures and how I look. I am VERY glad I got a professional to help me out and so grateful Jody was available and so cooperative with my last minute schedule.

  Jody is awesome! Her work was beautiful, natural, and her demeanor is wonderful, easy, and enjoyable. The makeup lasts all day and night and I was amazed after hours of dancing (and sweating profusely) that when I went to the bathroom to freshen up, I wasn't all shiny and melted-looking. I didn't have to fix anything - just went back to the party. She also made my non-makeup-wearing mother feel like the belle of the ball. Thanks Jody!

  WOW! Jody is a true artist. She did the hair and makeup for me and a few of my bridesmaids. She started out by getting a feel for what the wedding would be like, theme, style, colors, etc., as well as my dress and what I had in mind for how I wanted to look and she ran with it. She pulled off the exact look that I wanted, but so much better than even I had imagined. She made all of us look like supermodel versions of ourselves - staying true to our personal styles and natural look, but seriously enhancing it. I've never seen myself look so amazing before - I wish she could do my hair and makeup every day!
  She was a pleasure to work with, very sweet and personable, incredibly responsive. She even helped me pick out jewelry to coordinate with my dress and the look I was going for, and it was PERFECT. She did an amazing job keeping me calm and making sure I drank and ate day of while she was doing my hair and makeup. She made it fun. Jody did such a great job that my hair and makeup lasted the ENTIRE night, through heat and humidity and a lot of dancing! She's a little more expensive than some of the salons in the area, but worth absolutely every penny and then some. It's especially nice that you get to have hair/makeup done at Milton Ridge with her, so you dont have to worry about getting in and out of a car and dealing with weather, etc. - everything is done on location and she does last minute touchups after you get your dress on and before you head out the door - she makes absolutely sure that every detail is flawless - she even left some touchup items for us before she left. I absolutely recommend you use her services, you wont be disappointed.

  She was FABULOUS!!!! I picked her based on a recommendation from my photographers. She did an absolutely incredible job with my hair and makeup, was very friendly, was much less expensive than other people I contacted, and she was very professional. She took six hours to do a trial run with my hair and makeup, and we chatted away the whole time. She was a true artist--my hair was a work of art and my makeup looked natural and stunning. I highly, highly recommend her.

  I had the pleasure of having Jody do both my hair and makeup for my wedding in November. I am so lucky to have found her! She is so talented and does amazing work. I met with Jody a few months before my wedding for a hair and makeup trial at her home. She asked be beforehand to provide her with some input on the look I was trying to achieve. During the trial, she took her time trying out different makeup colors and hair styles until I was completely satisfied. I never felt rushed. She has a bubbly personality and a great sense of humor. My maid of honor attended the trial with me, and upon leaving, we both felt like we made a new friend. Jody kept in touch leading up to the wedding regarding arrival times and any questions I had. She arrived early on the morning of the wedding to start my maid of honor's hair and makeup and she even provided a la carte options for bridesmaids that just wanted one aspect of makeup done. Given her experience doing hair and makeup at a high-end level for tv, movies, and magazines, her prices are amazingly reasonable. It would be an understatement to say she just did my hair and makeup on my wedding day. Not only did she do a beautiful job on both, but she helped me get ready after, by putting on and adjusting my veil and helping with my gown as well. My overall look was flawless and I was complemented the entire day and evening about how gorgeous my hair and makeup was. Jody made me look and feel so special on my wedding day, and I am truly thankful to have found her. She is a true professional whose talent is amazing and one of a kind. Thank you Jody for making my wedding day one I will never forget!

  I can't say enough about how wonderful Jody is, both as a professional and as a person. She did my hair and makeup in November for my wedding. Weeks after my wedding, our photographer informed my husband and I that she lost one of her memory cards which contained images from the morning of the wedding up to the reception. We were devastated as all pictures that would typically go into a wedding album were lost. I immediately contacted Jody to see if she could help recreate how I looked on my wedding day for a photo re-shoot with a different photographer. She was so kind and agreed to help in any way she could. Over the next few months, we emailed every few weeks until I narrowed down a date for the re-shoot. Jody was so flexible and willing to go above and beyond. We had our photo re-shoot in March and she did my hair and makeup, as well as my Maid of Honor's hair. Everything looked exactly like it did the day of our wedding. You can't tell at all that the photos were from a different day, as Jody matched my hair and makeup perfectly. She is a true professional and I am happy to also call her a friend.

  She is very chatty and it does take quite a bit of time – but EVERYTHING about the hair and makeup was perfect. I honestly couldn’t believe how talented she was, and how she was able to create my exact hair and makeup look from just the few emails we exchanged and what I told her. She is a true artist and I would recommend her to anyone.
