From classic hits to contemporary favorites, their selection was spot-on, ensuring that guests of all ages could enjoy the music. His ability to gauge the crowd's mood and seamlessly transition between tracks kept the energy high throughout the night. Thanks to Joe's impeccable taste in music, our wedding reception was an absolute hit!

  Joe Carson

  Joe was exceptional at our wedding! The dance floor was packed the whole night and everyone remarked about how Joe was playing the perfect music. Importantly, Joe was flexible and required very little handholding on our end but was able to read the crowd. He also quickly helped me the week before the wedding with different options and mixes for my father daughter dance. We had some foreign songs we wanted to play for family and he knew where to place them without disrupting the general flow. I would 1000% recommend Joe.

  We came across Joe when looking for someone in the Boston area who could accommodate live music and DJ. From the first outreach, I was immediately confident in his professionalism and delivery ability. He exceeded expectations as an acoustic guitarist, and his DJ setup was amazing, handling uplighting, dance floor lights, requests, and pivoting as needed to ensure no one stopped dancing all night.
  
  Our guests noticed Joe's talent and love for his work, and he truly made our night. I'd highly recommend him to couples looking for the perfect music combination on their special day! Thank you, Joe!

  If you need a Musician Hire Joe Carson

  It was pretty late in my planning process for my niece's upcoming wedding at Briar Barn Inn in Rowley, MA when I decided we needed a live guitarist. The coordinator at the venue recommended Joe Carson and said that he was not only a fantastic musician, but easy to work with and dependable. Well she was right! I am so thankful that I was introduced to Joe. Joe Carson is a wonderful guitarist and excellent to do business with. He made everything easy for me in our interactions, picking music, and paying. I highly recommend him for your wedding or other event.

  Simply amazing

  Joe was amazing all night long! He fed off the vibe of my small crowd and kept everyone dancing all night long. He even sang our wedding song and played the song my groom and his grandmother danced too.

  Everything and then some!

  Joe was amazing to work with! He answered all of our questions and put our minds at ease that everything was going to run smoothly! He was able to make all the music and timing and location work very well! We had an outdoor Mountain View wedding, with a barn for reception, and outdoor dance floor! No one left the dance floor the entire evening! He played all the right music at all the right times! He definitely felt the vibe of the crowd and adjusted. All ages were dancing the night away! The feedback from my guests was that it was the best wedding they attended with the best music! Joe played a big role in that!

  Best DJ we could imagine

  Joe was recommended to us by our venue and we could not have been happier! He was extremely professional and organized. He sent us a worksheet well in advance of the wedding with all of the information he'd need about announcements, special songs, etc. and he also let us submit a must play and do not play list, as well as an inspiration playlist with some suggested songs. He was in charge of ceremony music, live music during cocktail hour, a dinner playlist, announcing all of the toasts and first dances, and of course the dance music at the end of the night. Everything went very smoothly, and most importantly we heard from SO many of our guests that they were happy with the dance music! It was very hot and humid on our wedding day but no one wanted to take a break from dancing because every song Joe played was a major hit with the crowd. And on top of it all, Joe's services are extremely reasonably priced compared to some of his competitors. I would highly recommend Joe to anyone getting married in the Boston area.

  Wedding DJ and acoustic guitar

  Joe was professional and responsive. He played acoustic songs for the beginning of our party, and DJ’d the rest. The experience was exactly as we had hoped. Our wedding guests had a great time!

  Joe was great! Such great communication before our wedding and super talented. Joe did both the live music at our ceremony/cocktail hour as well as dj’d our reception and both were wonderful. Would highly recommend!

  Wedding DJ

  My husband and I hired Joe to DJ at our wedding. He was amazing! He performed several songs and had a perfect selection of music that went with our vision. He is so nice to work with, was so helpful in setting up, and we cannot recommend him enough!! We received so many compliments from our guests on the music!

We had a very specific and eclectic playlist we wanted for our wedding, and Joe went above and beyond to achieve that for us. He LISTENED to all our unique requests and made it happen, even sprinkling in songs from our favorite genres. In addition to working with Joe for our cocktail/reception music and emceeing, we also hired him to play acoustic guitar for our ceremony. This was the perfect accompaniment/vibe to our New England outdoor wedding! We cannot say enough positive things about Joe Carson. His professionalism, ability to work with and listen to each client, and charisma is nothing shy of extraordinary! Hire him for your event! You will not be disappointed!
