Amazing beyond words
Joe was amazing for our wedding! Really personable and easy to work with! Went out in a nor’easter to get the shots I was so desperate for! I love the unique aspect he uses in each video it makes it so personal and stand out from any other videographer. Joe Minnella Studios captured our big day (9/16/17) perfectly. We first met Joe when he filmed my brother and sister-in-law's wedding in 2014. His work ethic, creativity, personality and talent made us excited to see my brother and sister-in-law's final product, so we knew we HAD to have him capture our wedding day! We were so happy we were able to get Joe and we were excited to work with him. We knew we would be left with a fun and entertaining visual memory and a professional video we want to watch again, like a favorite movie. He was professional and took every suggestion into consideration and left us with an incredible teaser video to anticipate the final product. I can't say enough about Joe. He was more than amazing on the day of and after. His creativeness is out of this world along with his professionalism. Joe and Dennis hands down are beyond the best. I saw a video clip of a friends wedding and knew that when I got engaged he was my first vendor I would be booking. 6 months later I was engaged and joe was my first call. Joe is the most professional person to work with and makes you feel so special and important. His dedication and passion to his work really shines through. He is not a typical vendor that watches his clock. He was the first to arrive and the last to leave at my wedding . This just goes to show how dedicated he really is. Joe was a dream to work with. He took copious notes on my wedding details, and wants from his services in advance. I appreciated this as I am also a perfectionist. He executed everything exactly the way we wanted. He even did a very reasonably priced special edit of our wedding flash mob. He is very passionate about what he does and it shows in his work. This was the last thing we booked-- we did not budget to have video at our wedding, and a few months before, after watching my parents wedding video from 30 years ago, we realized how much we really wanted to capture our day. They did an unbelievable job! They showed up at my moms before anyone else, and began working right away. They did not skip a beat, and worked right up to the very last moment of our wedding! Joe has a knack for listening to your ideas and taking them above and beyond your wildest expectations. He knows his stuff and is very open to experimenting and trying out new things. His videos all bring something special and unique to the table. Joe Minnella and his team of Dennis and Mellisa worked so hard at our wedding. From coming in our rooms to film us prior to the ceremony to the last song of the night they never took a break. They were constantly moving around to get creative shots. Our Bridal party had such a great time with the fun ideas Joe came up with. This team did everything they could to make sure the lighting in every frame was absolutely perfect. They were polite and accommodating to every guest as well, never shoving a camera in anyone's face unless they asked for it. Joe is seriously the best. He is the most easy going guy and seriously the hardest worker! He was there for every aspect of our wedding but not in a flashy way. Our guests commented that they barely knew we had a videographer because he didn't get in peoples faces. I swear he didn't stop all day! He arrived early in the morning at about 8:30 a.m. and didn't leave until the wedding was over at 11:00 p.m.
I had found Joe about a year before our wedding. I looked at my husband and told him it was either Joe or no one. I followed his blog and I was sure he was the only one I wanted for our wedding. His work really speaks for itself. After meeting with Joe it was a no brainer. He was incredibly helpful and professional from the planning process all the way through the actual day of the wedding. Everyone that we have shown the video has been blown away by his talent and creativity. Booking Joe ended up being one of the best decisions we could have made. We know we will only been even more impressed once we receive our full video. Joe Minnella is pure talent. Joe is worth every single penny and then some. Joe captures the most important and happy moments in your life on camera and then creates videos that leave you stunned and in awe. He made our engagement video last summer and we were beyond impressed. Our family & friends who we shared the video with were amazed, not only because these videos are a newer trend and they're a keepsake, but by the quality and creativity of the video. We hired Joe for both the engagement shoot and wedding. Less than 3 weeks after our wedding (8/11/12) Joe sent us our Wedding Recap video and I've watched it about 60 times so far. I've posted it to facebook and e-mailed it to family and friends. Our older guests wished they had video services like this when they were getting married and our friends our age are set on using Joe in the future when they get married! Joe, you are the best. We went back and forth when we were budgeting for our wedding on whether to hire a videographer. In retrospect, if we knew what we would get with Joe, we wouldn't have given it a second thought. Joe was an absolute professional and a lot more than just a videographer. Joe made our wedding into a movie.
It's very difficult to achieve a balance between capturing the entire night and not being in people's way and Joe strikes that balance seamlessly. He has a passion for what he does and in the first second you see him work you know that you are going to be blown away by the end result. We had an incredible wedding and I couldn't imagine not being able to look back on that day and night for the rest of our lives.
Joe is an absolute steal for the quality of his work and his professionalism. You are going to have a bunch of different "vendors" at your wedding but at the end of the day you want people there that are going to be fun and energetic and fun to hang out with and Joe is all of those things. You are going to love how he captures your wedding and you are going to love having him there.
If you are debating whether to hire a videographer let me save you the time. Hire Joe. You are never going to look back and regret watching an awesome movie of your wedding night.

I could not be happier that I chose Joe and his crew to capture all of the special moments of my wedding day. They arrived early, setup, and started shooting right away. From the minute they arrived, I knew that they were going to get amazing footage of my wedding day. They did not miss a beat! So many of my guests commented on how thorough they were throughout the entire day. They were doing everything except back flips in order to get the footage that they needed to make an unforgettable video. Although we have not seen our full wedding video yet, I have no doubt in my mind that it will be unbelievable. Joe put together an AMAZING recap video to highlight the special moments of the day. I watched it over and over again and I was amazed by how he chose just the right moments to include in the short video. The editing of the video is flawless, and I am confident that our full wedding video will be just as fabulous. Joe was very professional from the day my husband and I met him. The only way to describe Joe in action is to think of Superman running around a room. I now know how he gets his exercise...he did not stop running around from the minute he turned his video cameras on, which proves how dedicated he is to his job. They arrived early, setup, and started shooting right away. From the minute they arrived, I knew that they were going to get amazing footage of my wedding day. They did not miss a beat! So many of my guests commented on how thorough they were throughout the entire day. They were doing everything except back flips in order to get the footage that they needed to make an unforgettable video. Although we have not seen our full wedding video yet, I have no doubt in my mind that it will be unbelievable. Joe put together an AMAZING recap video to highlight the special moments of the day. I watched it over and over again and I was amazed by how he chose just the right moments to include in the short video. The editing of the video is flawless, and I am confident that our full wedding video will be just as fabulous. Joe was very professional from the day my husband and I met him. We were wonderfully surprised throughout the whole wedding process by Joe Minnella. Joe’s passion, professionalism and energy is truly inspiring while his talent, innovativeness and creativeness separates him from a lot of other vendors. He was always timely to answer all of our questions and quell any of our neurotic concerns or ideas.
Not only did Joe capture every face, smile, tear and memory of our wedding day, he also created a personal documentary of “Our Love Story” (http://vimeo.com/31618074) We suggested the unique idea of showing a personal documentary video of “Our Love Story” minutes before the ceremony began and Joe made it happen! He masterfully crafted, shot and produced “Our Love Story” and our guests got to witness our love for each other through Joe’s amazing video before we said “I Do!”
On the day of our wedding, he was the first vendor to arrive and the last vendor to leave. Joe did a great job with our trailer/preview for what is to come....he really captured the mood of the day and got a lot a great of footage without ever seeming like he was ALWAYS around. I actually couldn't believe how great some of the stuff he shot was considering we barely saw him...which was perfect. We wanted great shots and video and to not feel like we were being filmed the whole time...and in that respect, Joe was like a fly on the wall. He got everything great and wasn't overbearing. We would recommend him to anybody. You can tell he has a real love for what he does and he is extremely talented at it. We are actually ordering more recap videos since everyone loved the first one so much. He was there from the minute we began getting ready until the very end of the reception...really just a phenomenal job!

I was back and forth on hiring a videographer- found Joe via a referral... He was flexible with our needs (it was a VERY long day of shooting in Manhattan), he was professional and energetic throughout the entire day, and I was blown away by our final recaps! By far, I found the best vaule and hands down better service than I would have gotten if I had hired a big company for triple the amount of money. This was probably the best decision I made during planning... I can't stop watching the video, I feel like I'm reliving the day! Our mouths hung open in awe the entire time we watched!! He caught moments that we missed (like my cousin running after our tiny little flower girl when she walked the wrong way after making her entrance into the reception!) - and things that we forgot about, like the vows that we wrote for each other and giggled the whole way through.
Joe made us the happiest people on the planet - this isn't just a wedding video, but the best memories of our lives, forever recorded for our family to enjoy for years to come.
