  Photographer and hype man!

  Joey is not only the sweetest person I’ve ever met but also the best wedding photographer hands down! His vision for capturing the magic on our special day was second to none. While taking some amazing pictures that we will cherish forever, he was also the life of the party! His fantastic energy on the dance floor, the way he complimented me as the bride to help make me feel comfortable in the spotlight (NOT usually my thing), and his responsiveness before and day of the wedding are just a few reasons why I’m so happy to have worked with Joey Place. This man is a genius and an artist!

  Best Decision Made

  Working with Joey Place Photography was one of the easiest decisions we made, when it came to wedding planning. From start to finish, he made everything so simple for us. Talking with him prior to our engagement photos, you could hear the excitement and confidence in his voice.
  Joey made the best recommendations and sent us a style guide to help us decide on the 'look' we were going for. Every suggestions Joey had made, created the most romantic photos. When it came time to planning the photos for our wedding day, Joey had taken extreme care in asking for our expectations. Joey captured every moment perfectly. I felt like I was fallng in love all over again. My husband, who hates getting his photo taken, even enjoyed the entire experience. Joey absolutely exceeded all expectations. After working with him through this experience, I feel like he is a part of our family I cannot recommend Joey enough!

  Joey The Best Wedding Photographer EVER!

  Joey is the best person to work with, from the very start he made sure that my husband & I were comfortable with anything & everything! From the way I wanted to look in my pictures & to helping me learn new poses! To taking the best wedding photos I could have ever asked for, they were everything and more.   The only photographer I need!

  Joey has now done multiple occasions with my family. He is beyond reliable and so easy to work with. My pictures for my wedding are absolutely amazing and he made it so easy to laugh and enjoy the time we had. I wanted it to feel laid back and not rushed and he certainly made that possible. I will be working with him again. I highly recommend!

  Joey exceeded our expectations not once but twice! He was our Photgrapher for our engagement and wedding Photgrapher and absolutely KILLED IT! Not only did he capture photos of us but our guests, the ambiance and all other elements of our event. Joey always makes sure to call you before and after your event to make sure you are satisfied with his services. You will not be sorry with Joey, guaranteed.

  Everything we wanted!

  My husband and I did a post-paperwork photoshoot to mark the occasion, since we opted not to have a ceremony this year. We reached out to Joey, and he was super responsive, friendly, FUNNY, professional, and totally relaxed us because I was so nervous about doing my part "correctly!" We plan on hiring him again for future shoots. It was so much fun and the photos came out fantastic. Highly recommend and I cannot say enough good about him!

  Joey was one of a team of three photographers/videographers we had for our wedding in the Catskills. The scenery, the feelings, and the joy was captured beautifully by the team. On top of it all, Joey was extremely kind and understanding when it came to all of the emotions that were felt by the bride and groom on the big day. When we were nervous, he helped ease the nerves and enjoy the moment. I'm so glad this team created memories we'll be able to cherish for a lifetime! Thank you Joey!

Every time I thought "I want a photo" they were right by me, pre-empting my needs! The photos turned out so beautifully too.   My husband and I are extremely happy with the quality of our photos. Joey is outgoing, fun, and blends well with everyone he’s around.   We found Joey to be everywhere needed to capture our wedding...His expertise clearly shows in his work...Joey was organized ahead of time knowing who to officially take pictures of( as in not miss certain people) including family and friends.
  Joeys ability to take candid shots were outstanding...If you are interested in hiring you will be very very extremely happy!!
