    A Treasured Experience with John Appleton

    It was such a pleasure to work with John on our wedding day! We knew that we wanted something to remember our special day for years to come but being people that aren't used to being in front of a camera lens, we weren't quite sure just what we wanted. However, after talking with John we soon came to realize this was exactly what we would treasure for a lifetime. John and his second photographer made us feel very comfortable and natural throughout our entire experience with them. They blended into our day perfectly and had us reminiscing with clips within a couple of days.     Wonderful videographer

    I was originally on the fence about getting a videographer for our wedding day but I am so happy we did and that we found John! He was a pleasure to work with and we are thrilled with our highlight video. He offers so many different options, so you can choose what footage is important for you personally to have of your big day. John was very professional and was a great communicator leading up to our wedding. He loves his work and wants to make sure he understands your vision. I’d recommend him to anyone and know we will enjoy looking at our video forever!

    Awesome! Definitely worth the money spent!

    John was great to work with. He was responsive with questions and helping us know what to expect. For the wedding he showed up early and never knew he was even there for the ceremony. He captured everything beautifully. He followed the bride and groom and caught all the important moments. Along with that he got parts of the reception like dancing and when we got the videos they were perfect representation of the evening. I’m so happy we found him and spent the money to have this memory. The bride was elated to be able to watch it all again. Thanks so much! Definitely recommend using John Appleton.

    Excellent service!

    Our pandemic micro-wedding was chronicled by John Appleton, who went above and beyond to give us a great value. We have a lovely keepsake video to show at the larger reception later this summer. I highly recommend John and his services. He did a lovely job.

    Wonderful Experience, Beautiful Results!

    We hired John Appleton as our videographer so that we could share our wedding with people who were not able to make it (corona bride problems). The product that was created was more than we could ever ask for, it is a beautiful keepsake that my husband and I will enjoy for the rest of our lives. John and his second shooter captured every moment of the day and put it all together in a beautiful cohesive movie. I would 100000% recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer!

    Great Audio and story telling!

    John was a pleasure to work with! He blended into our day seamlessly. He captured the most important parts and everything else in between and told the perfect love story. He even got hilarious moments and wasn’t afraid to work them in! He did an amazing job. We are a such moody couple and his style was perfect for that.

    John was an absolute joy to work with. He was responsive, professional, and truly focused on delivering the best video possible. Our video turned out amazing and exceeded all of our expectations. I felt that we hit the jackpot by hiring him and would recommend him to anyone I know!

    The best of the BEST

    I have known John for quite some time now…well over a decade actually. I’ve always admired his work as a filmmaker and I feel extremely lucky to call him a friend. When I found out he got into the wedding industry, all I could think about was how lucky all of those couples would be to have John capture their day. When I got engaged and started planning the wedding, I KNEW I had to have him. John is an incredible film-maker…his camera work is impeccable and his editing skills are out of this world. Since we are friends I spent a lot of the day talking to him and staring into the lens while making stupid faces (something most brides probably wouldn’t do)…however, so much of the day I would forget he was even there-like a fly on the wall…BUT HE’S THERE! And he’s nailing it! He is not invasive, distracting, obnoxious, or aggressive. Rather he captures the day with grace and ease. He knows exactly what shots he needs to get in order to deliver a beautiful product and he is clear in communication every step of the way. He is on time, accommodating (even when schedules start to get tight), and seriously talented. If you’re looking for someone to capture your day in a way that is uniquely and visually stunning, breathtaking, and unforgettable-you should look no further and hire John. My first dance video-alone-was worth the cost of having him film the entire day. Thank you, John for being the artist that you are…because of you I will always be able to remember this day and all of the beautiful and raw emotions that come along with it.

    John Appleton is an Outstanding Videographer!

    John made an amazing video for my wife and I. Most importantly, he turned a video around so fast! His work is perfect. Absolutely perfect. He's flexible, intelligent, and can see perspectives in videography that others can't see. I strongly recommend you use him!

    Waterfall Wedding Video

    John filmed our waterfall wedding back in Sept 2018 and we just got the finished Highlights video. I could not be happier! The footage came out wonderfully and he was even able to successful handle the waterfall background sound over the ceremony. We booked the extra drone footage which really made for breathtaking scenery shots. John was very easy to work with and I enjoyed the editing process. I highly recommend his services at your memorable event.

    The most beautiful video

    John is great! Due to our budget, we weren't thinking about getting a videographer. However, a couple months out, I realized that I really did want a videographer to capture our special day. John was recommended to us and I'm so glad that everything worked out! We wanted someone to get the ceremony and at the very least, parts of our reception. John went above and beyond and got 2 other videographers to help him out during the ceremony to help capture all angles of the ceremony. He worked great with our photographer, as well. He was very responsive in our communication via email from when we reached out to him and up until the day of. John delivered all the raw footage we requested and even created a short highlight video for us to share with our family and friends. We definitely do not regret getting a videographer at all and I'm so glad we ended up with John-- he is awesome!

    Updated Review

    Edit: We struggled with communication with John. After many delays, we found out that there were some personal issues he was dealing with. He eventually delivered the product we contracted for. The video quality itself was good. We could hear everyone from the ceremony and toasts clearly which was one of our main concerns.

    Amanda, I deeply sorry for the long delay and lack of correspondence. This is not typical of my business. I had some unexpected health complications that kept me from work for some time and I am finally recovering. This is not an excuse but simply an explanation. I am very pleased I was able to complete a film that was satisfactory to you, despite the atypical nature of its delivery, but I hope it will be something you and Adam will be able to cherish as a memory of your wedding day each time you revisit it. I am in good health now and never intend on a delay like this occurring again.
