  John did such an amazing job for me and my husband’s elopement. John is super personable, very creative, warm, and just a joy to work with. My father is also terminal, and John made concessions to change the time of a second family photoshoot for our elopement weekend, even with his filled schedule. I am very pleased with the pictures from the elopement, as well as the family portraits. With My family of 13 total, John had a multitude of candid beautiful pictures. That’s not easy to do!   John Kurc is without a doubt the most talented photographer I have ever worked with. I first met him at a dear friend's wedding. My adult children were both in the wedding party. It was an outdoor service at sunset with a beautiful Christmas theme in a barn. I was blown away with the amazing lighting and composition of both the outdoor and indoor photographs. I have used John for every event I have been associated with since. These are large events that include formal photos and candids. He captures the personalities of his subjects (including me) so well. He is so professional and does his research prior to the events. John seems to be everywhere in the venues... Read more

John seems to be everywhere in the venues large and small without being intrusive at all. Several of his photographs of me and my children hang in my home as art pieces in large format. I would highly recommend John Kurc for any wedding or event as the premier photographer in the Charleston area and beyond. We prefer Black and Whites but his color work is wonderful as well.

  John is wonderful to work with. He not only captures moments of your day, but creates art with his beautiful photos. Hiring John as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our event.

  John has a beautiful, respectful way of seeing life and people. He can truly capture that spectacular moment in time. Along with the traditional wedding and family portraits, his candids take you through the emotions and experiences of your special day. Shooting both black and white and color gives brides many options for their lasting memories. Very unique and extremely artful in his work. His many years of experience makes a big difference of your day being documented well and the ceremony and reception staying organized. We used him for rehearsal and bridesmaids luncheon as well. Very impressive.

  John is perhaps the best photographer I have found. His photos are absolutely beautiful. He has a way of making people look even more stunning than in real life, and that's important for a wedding, or any special occasion. He is unassuming and he captures so many wonderful moments and expressions. Very thankful for John's work.
