  So impressive!

  John Wendel was absolutely incredible at our wedding on 5.3.24 at the Art Factory. His comedic talent had everyone laughing throughout the ceremony. Guests were so impressed with him during cocktail hour that they kept asking us how we found him. John Wendel was absolutely incredible at our wedding on 5.3.24 at the Art Factory. Do not hesitate to book him; he exceeded our expectations and was genuinely funnier than many mainstream comics we follow. His professionalism, eloquence, and exceptional comedic delivery made our day even more memorable. Thank you, John, for being a part of our special day!

  Warm and funny!

  John was the perfect addition to our ceremony. We chose John because we were hoping for an officiant who could be warm and humorous to diffuse how awkward and nervous we knew we would be, and we are so happy with our choice. John struck the perfect balance of light-hearted and sincere, which left our guests asking how we knew him since there seemed to be so much comfort and familiarity between us. John's process of getting to know us and what we wanted was smooth and thorough. He also brought with him plenty of experience with the wedding process to not only help the nuptials but help coordinate the whole ceremony ensuring music, timing, pictures, etc. flowed well with his delivery. John made our ceremony memorable for us and our guests, and we cannot recommend him enough!

  Best wedding officiant

  We found John through Thumbtack & as soon as we had our first phone call we knew that we would be booking him as our wedding officiant! He traveled from NY to Philly for our ceremony and provided the exact services that we were looking for. He made the ceremony sweet, personal, and full of light-hearted humor that had our guests both crying and laughing. He checked in with us all throughout the planning process & made everything so easy for us. Could not have asked for a better officiants for our wedding.

  Fun and to the point

  When looking for an officiant, we knew we wanted someone who would keep the audience engaged and John Wendel definitely did that. He was entertaining, funny and to the point. We gave him the points to speak about and he put his own spin on it. Overall, happy with the results.

  John is a 10/10

  Thanks to John, we had a ceremony that our guests said was by far the BEST they had ever been to. He adapted our love story PERFECTLY, making everyone laugh and feel like part of our journey. He was so considerate to our vision and requests during our planning sessions, and the way he tied everything together just exceeded our expectations.. He was beyond professional, and accommodating, even after one of our shuttles didn't show and we had to push back our ceremony over a half hour. He even came into the bridal suite to lighten our mood and make sure we knew he was not going anywhere. I had guests came up to me afterwards to say how they felt they knew us better as a couple based on the ceremony, and that was so special to me. I can say without a doubt, John was one of the best decisions we made, and we are so grateful for a ceremony we will never forget!!

  AMAZING and BEYOND our expectations!!!

  John Wendel was absolutely amazing! So comfortable to work with too. He helped us create the perfect vows with a touch of humor (and he was HILARIOUS) while keeping a tone that really expressed our love and unique love story. So perfect. He really listened to who we are and TOTALLY got exactly what we wanted. Hire him!
