  We hired Jonathan Yonkers Photography & Video as our wedding videographer.

  We highly recommend Jonathan Yonkers Photography & Video. We hired Jonathan as a videographer to capture our wedding in Costa Rica in February 2022. Jonathan was professional, punctual, and responsive. We were happily surprised with how quickly he sent us our wedding video. He captured so many moments and put together a finished product that made us feel like we were back in Costa Rica reliving the day. We highly recommend him!

  The BEST Investment for Your Wedding

  We found the Jonathan Yonkers team through our planner and photographer. We had read that couples' biggest regret was not getting a videographer. We are SOOOO happy we decided to hire them!!! They went above and beyond our expectations. Their professionalism, speed, and quality put them above everyone else. They edited our video and included our first dance song and the editing made everyone cry! I did not expect such a Hollywood-style video that we get to keep FOREVER. Seriously, you will never regret hiring them for your big day. We are so lucky we get to look back on this video and show everyone. I HIGHLY recommend you choose the Jonathan Yonkers team for your big day!

  Fantastic Photographer

  We are absolutely in love with our photos! Jonathan is a must have if you would like pictures on your special day. He was extremely helpful (and we needed a lot) in getting us comfortable and instructing us on what he wanted. My husband and I aren't really picture people, pretty awkward actually, but Jonathan pushed us through and kept us going so that he would capture these beautiful pictures. We loved how creative he was and how excited he got with lighting changes. We had our ceremony outdoors, in-between rain downpours, and none of that stopped Jonathan. We had fun taking some pictures in the rain and he made sure we got what we wanted. Thank you so much!

  Jonathan and team are amazing!! They were flexible when we had to postpone our wedding the first time (COVID) and quick with responses. Day of the wedding Jonathans was great to work with his energy and excitement really matched up with ours. He kept us on schedule and captured the most beautiful photos of Joe and I during the most radiant sunset. Jonathan was also able to capture the emotions and beauty throughout the day. Everyone that has seen our photos say the same things Stunning!!

  Magical Experience

  The experience with Jonathan was superb. His professionalism and creativity allowed us to bring the wonders of La Paz waterfalls back to our family and friends. Between the pictures and the excellent video, we were able to allow our family and friends to experience the magic that we experienced in this beautiful country.

  5 stars is not enough!

  Wedding planning is extremely stressful, especially when you are planning a destination elopement. The internet does make this process easier as it allows you to find vendors, see examples of their work, and read reviews from former clients. When my (now) husband and I looked at wedding photographers in Costa Rica, we both fell in love with Jonathan Yonker's portfolio. From the moment I reached out to Samantha (General Manager at JYP), we have had such a positive experience with Jonathan and his team. The weeks leading up to our wedding day, Samantha was so responsive to all the questions I had and put my nerves at ease. The day of our wedding, Jonathan and his incredible team were organized, patient, and professional. They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and had a unique and beautiful vision. Our photos and video came out better than we could ever imagine. Dave and I will treasure the photos they took for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend Jonathan Yonkers Photography and cannot thank them enough for documenting our wedding day.

  Wedding photographer and videoagrapher

  I can't say enough about Jonathan and his team! They captured our day in the most gorgeous, unique and perfect of ways. The videos and photos completely blew me away. They're incredibly talented at what they do and I'm so lucky they were able to do this for Trae and I. There isn't one photo or moment in our videos I didn't absolutely love and want to look at over and over again.

  Jonathan truly went above and beyond to capture every month for me. I kid you not he worked about a 14 hour day on the day of my wedding! He was extremely mindful of my budget and now I am just itching to see the final product! I would hire Jonathan in a heartbeat!

  Jonathan did an absolutely amazing job and I couldn't have asked for a better video! He does highlight videos which seem like music videos and they capture the whole wedding. He is a bit pricey for Costa Rica, but not pricey for the states and the quality was amazing! I loved the video and will be sharing it with my future children, probably every year at our anniversary lol
