    Best DJ Ever

    They were referred to us from a friend.. price was fair, service was phenominal. The DJ that was at our wedding got the crowd into it.. made it alot of fun. played the songs we wanted. Highly Recommend

    Jack was an amazing DJ. He kept our crowd dancing the entire night and knew exactly when to play our requested songs. He did a great job and we would choose him all over again. He put a lot of effort into making our wedding an event he would be personally proud of, and one we were happy with.

    I have never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding! My family loves to dance, but there has to be good music! Multiple people asked me if I could get the playlist from our wedding as they wanted it for themselves. Jones Tones did everything we asked of them and did a spectacular job keeping the party lively. I am so glad we went with them!

    We were very happy with Jack Jones of Jones Tones DJs. Meeting before the wedding he was always friendly and professional. He was also very accommodating with mine and my husband's busy work schedule. He told us from the beginning that he was more than just a dj, but also a coordinator and he held true to his work. We met a few days before the wedding and he helped us decide a schedule of events. This was especially helpful since we did not have a wedding planner. We gave him a list of songs we wanted to hear and he let us know that he would play as many as possible. We were having a country wedding and he said he wasn't as familiar with country as other genres but he would listen to each song on our list to figure out the best time to play each song and familiarize himself with them. On the day of he kept us all on schedule and was careful to touch base with us to make sure we were ready for each part of our day. He found the right time to play songs that we requested, but also played songs as he saw what people were enjoying. He was a great part of our day and couldn't be happier with our choice. He played all of the music from before the ceremony through the reception and it was all perfect. Great value for your money as well. Highly recommended!

    Jack was our wedding DJ and we are so happy we had him! He made planning the event very easy and seemed to immediately understand our music preferences. He has so much experience in this business and was able to quickly make us confident in his abilities. During the wedding, he worked very well with our photographers. Our photographers have worked with him before and during pictures joked that he would be outside in 2 minutes to give us our 5 minute entrance morning, and 2 minutes later, there he was! He is so organized and ensures that you stay on your timeline. He also went above and beyond getting the groom and I our favorite cocktails while we were doing pictures. In terms of DJ'ing- he's fantastic! He has such a great entertaining voice which was perfect for our sports themed entrance. He played a perfect variety of music for our guests and mixed it up in a way that kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. Jack is truly one of a kind- even guests were complimenting his services. I felt like a lucky bride to have him with us on our special day and am so glad I chose to book with his company.

    We worked with Jack with the planning, and then with Ernie as our DJ for the reception. Despite my over the top requests, Ernie nailed it. The man definitely has an eye for the crowd, and had everyone out on the dance floor all night. Jack's suggestion for the backlighting was perfect, and I would definitely recommend as well. Thank you guys so very, very much, as music was one of my top and main priorities -- if only I knew what I know now, I wouldn't have had a single worry.

    Loved my DJ!!!! He was always in contact with me. I was the first time bride with many questions and every time I am emailed him he was always responding that same day. The music that he played was excellent everyone dance all night long!!!

    We had heard from several people prior to booking a DJ that Jack Jones with Jones Tones was amazing and that he really got the crowd into the music and up and out of their seats. Jack Jones has been a DJ for years and when we met with his for our wedding we could tell he would be great. He will play whatever music you ask and really will work his magic and get your guests up and dancing. He plays a variety of music to please people of all ages from 50s all the way up until the latest music on the radio. He will play whatever you ask! He was an amazing DJ and I would highly recommend him to any brides and grooms wanting a fun DJ to keep the party going all night!

    Kept our dance floor full for 4 hours. People kept commenting how great he was, and a month later are still doing so.

    WOW! What an entertainer! We are still getting compliments on our DJ (Jack Jones) and we got married 10 months ago! Price was right and the quality was amazing! He runs an awesome company! He also did a wedding video for us for $300! It come out great!

    Our DJ was Ernie and I loved him. He played all the songs that I requested and many other great ones too. None that I did not want played either. He kept me (and many others) on the dance floor most of the time and that is a big accomplishment since I am not a big dancer.

    Jack Jones was a fantastic DJ! He worked with us even though we lived out of state and was very flexible. Although he may not be the cheapest DJ in CNY, he is well worth it!! He played everything we asked for and more at our reception. He kept the pace of the wedding going very smoothly, and kept the party going until the last minute! Everyone had a fantastic time and was dancing until the end!

    Working with Jones Tones was really nice. We had the owner as our wedding dj and he was very good about responding to us and mixing in the music we requested.

    Good dj but had a few mistakes, didn't play certain songs that were requested and did play a song that was on the do not play list. Overall it went smooth.

    We had our cermony outside of our reception location and they provided our cermony music at no additional charge. They seemed a little slow to get started with introductions at the cermony, but once we got to the dancing he fully delivered! The floor was packed the whole night! We had people dancing that "never dance". He did a great making our reception a rockin party.

    We had a great time all night and so many people were dancing the entire night because of our DJ! We did ask him to do a couple of things that he never did throughout the evening, and he would not come at the time the reception hall coordinator wanted him to come, but everything else was fantastic.

    Wedding day

    Very accommodating and outgoing personality. Played fun and upbeat music. Any time during my wedding I asked for something to be done, it was executed immediately! Great service!!

    If you make sure you request the owner of the company to DJ your wedding all will be great. We requested the owner and had been working with the owner all along, he knew exactly what we wanted and since I had seen him DJ at another wedding I was confident. If you think about it a DJ is very important as they are the ones to control the 'feel' or 'mood' of the party. So when picking a DJ know exactly what you want and make sure you convey that message well. I was disappointed that Jack promised us to DJ and he booked another event the same day that overlapped a touch. He sent his younger brother for the first half (first dance, toasts, introductions) all very important stuff and his brother did TERRIBLE. When Jack got there the party was definitely better but I was highly disappointed that he promised to be there and wasn't and disappointed that his brother did so poorly.

    We booked Jack Jones after having a great time at our friends' wedding the previous year where he was the DJ and played great song after great song. He was able to provide music at both our outside ceremony and inside our venue, which was great. At our wedding, after all of the formalities were out of the way, once he started, the party didn't stop until the end. He played a great mix of all kinds of songs that kept everyone happy (young and old) and on the dance floor until the end of the reception, which is exactly what we wanted. He also downloaded all of our requested songs he didn't have beforehand. He was a great MC and kept things pretty on track with announcements at the appropriate times.

    It's obvious that Jack Jones is a great DJ; however, he isn't very warm (he is a WEDDING vendor, after all!), is somewhat cocky about how good he is and his many years of experience, and was a bit pushy at times. Yes, it's good that he cares about everything going well, but he needs to provide advice and be okay when it isn't taken. For example, my mother made a request about our entrances, and Jack didn't think it would work out and was pushy with her about not accommodating her request. We ended up going with my mother's suggestion, and everything worked out just fine. It was an unnecessary stress about a little detail that shouldn't have happened.

    Overall, I would definitely recommend Jack as a DJ and would get him again; my advice to you is to just be stern with him about what YOU want on YOUR day!

    I first met Jack at a bridal expo, he has a great personality and was offering a deal for booking at the show. He does cost a bit more than other DJs but he had better reviews and more experience, he also has a great speaking tone. He's not afraid to tell you how it is with music choices, I'm glad I took his advice and cut down my request list because he knows what gets a crowd going! He answered all of my silly questions, the music was the only thing I was a control freak about in my whole wedding but he worked very well with what I absolutely had to have played. The only reasons this is 4/5 is because he didn't have me update my wedding party re-intros at the final meeting when I asked to, not a big deal because I doubt anyone was paying attention to who walked down the aisle with who earlier that day anyway - but there were some complaints about the volume of announcements, a good number of people didn't realize certain activities were going on because it was only announced once or at a low volume. Probably just an equipment issue or the acoustics of the venue. We were also hit up for $50 for a speaker for the ceremony at the final meeting that wasn't discussed initially. Other than that I thought it was fine, he was very accommodating for my music requests, had great timing for the music, was punctual and had everything ready to go. His music choices are awesome, he found all of the songs we needed and anything that he chose went over well with the guests. Thank you Jack!

    Jack came highly recommend by a family member so I am looking forward to working with him. Despite some early scheduling hiccups, he was always responsive and has been easy to work with. I look forward to his energy being a part of our special day.

    Jack was great. It was nice that he gave us a discount and that he (the owner) did our reception himself. He was quick to respond to my communications. He was a little pushy, especially at the reception. My husband had to tell him to back off a little. The music mix was ok. I would have liked a few more slow songs but he did keep people dancing. He also did a couple of special requests for us. The one thing I didn't like was the pushiness in the logistical meeting. He was very casual with us but not in a good way. He swore a few times, which was not ok to me. He also kind of rushed the meeting. He was also late to the meeting. The service was good.

    We wanted to book Jack Jones himself for our Wedding but he was unavailable. The DJ that he booked for us was not nearly as good as Jack, as we had seen him at another wedding. Our DJ rushed us, played songs we specifically told Jack we did not want to hear and completely ruined our bestmans speach because he didn't have a cordless microphone, so no one could see him. Very, very disappointed.
