  Classic, timeless photographers with the best attitude

  We can't say enough about Joe and Stephanie! We had a multi-cultural, multi-day event, and Joe and Stephanie made all of it look like joyful art. Joe and Stephanie gave us a timeless wedding album that we'll enjoy forever, with a huge focus on our families. They're also just the loveliest people to work with; they are the *best* at navigating timelines, nerves, and day-of changes (it POURED rain on our wedding day!) with the calmest attitude. They also returned extremely professional "sneak previews" to us within a few days of our respective engagement shoot, bridal session, and wedding -- and full albums to us way before their contracts said they would. We are *not* photogenic people, and we literally can't pick our favorites that they captured. Hire Joe and Stephanie!!

  Joesph and Stephanie are a gem and there photos are fabulous! From the engagement photos all the way to the wedding pictures I was blown away with the quality and felt like we could be in a magazine. I can't even decide which photos I want in my book. They are talented, attentive, patient and so easy to work with and were a perfect match for us! I promise if you hire them, you won't regret it!

  Joseph and Stephanie are amazing artists. They make such a great team and were very accommodating when the bride and groom wanted engagement pictures at Possum Kingdom. Joseph was with the ladies most of the day and spotted a sunset before the ceremony that made those pictures fashion magazine worthy. The group shots were great and he knew exactly how to quickly position everyone to create beautiful close-ups. The reception was outdoors on a downtown rooftop. The lighting didn't seem to be an issue with these professionals and the shots are absolutely stunning. We did get a sneak peek of some shots the next day and the flash drive was beautifully presented. These photographers are true professionals.

  Joseph was so wonderful to work with and caught every moment that day we wanted. He was very talented and as we saw a slideshow of his work we were convinced. We had actually been sent to him by a friend who had him do their family photos and loved him. His company even did postcard save the dates and they were fabulous. Within 1 day of our ceremony he had already sent my husband and I a few photos from the big day and his flash drive with all photos came not that much after. Would recommend him for any occasion and worth every penny.

  I wish I could give 6 stars! Joseph Mark Photography was my favorite vendor; Joe and Stephanie were absolute professionals, from their demeanor to their interactions with our families to the stellar quality of their work. In the planning process, they were responsive and easy to reach. Doing engagement portraits also helped us know what to ask for and built a great rapport that paid off on the wedding day. During the weekend, they really exceeded our expectations. We got married in a brand-new chapel, so Joe showed up during the rehearsal to scope out the space, meet our families, and connect with our planner and our officiant to ensure that he knew the parameters. (He also didn't charge us for this surprise appearance.) On the day of the wedding, Joe arrived early. He and Steph seamlessly blended in during both the rehearsal and the reception, unlike some pushy photographers I've encountered, but managed to capture every moment as if they were standing right next to us. The photos were absolutely stunning, and they were both responsive to what we asked for and confident in their expertise to make suggestions and guide us for shots we didn't even know we wanted. I didn't realize going into the process that our photographers would be the vendors (and people) we'd spend the most time with on the wedding day other than each other, and we could not have made a better choice than Joe & Steph. They helped us navigate nerves, pose for seemingly awkward shots they knew would look good on camera, and capture the beauty we had tried so hard to craft. They were all-purpose, full-service photographers, absolute pros who take pride in their work, and generally wonderful people to spend a weekend with. Pros - enormous value for the price, wonderful people and wonderful photographers, responsive. Cons - none!

  Joseph and Stephanie were a pleasure to work with! They were professional, fun, and open to our ideas. We even had the chance to fly them to another city for our engagement shoot! All our friends keep raving about the pictures, and a key element was the ease in which they organized our photos on their site. It was very easy to navigate! We highly recommend them!

  My husband and I are are so happy we hired Joseph and Stephanie to capture the special moments of our our big day. From the moment we reached out to them they were incredibly helpful, willing to work with our budget and our expectations. This made the entire process easy and stress-free. They took the time to learn our style and understand the pictures we envisioned. They took so many beautiful candid shots that encapsulated the raw emotions of our ceremony and vow exchange, the humor and fun of our reception and all of the special moments leading up to the ceremony. Their timing is excellent; they managed to snap all of the shots we wanted before and during the length of our wedding (not an easy feat!) and kept a laid back attitude with big grins on their face the whole time. Very professional and good energy. We could not have been happier with our photos. Thank you guys!

  This was the first wedding photographer we have worked with so we're likely spoiled now. Joseph and Stephanie Marks give you 110% of what they describe in their packages, their communication is outstanding, they are flexible, professional, patient (20 people and a dog in one medium sized room right before the wedding), creative and they deliver. We got dozens of favorite photos including really special bridal, engagement, wedding and reception photo's. He even braved a 45 degree boat departure for the bride and groom and got some great shots. Strongly recommend.

  Joe and Stephanie are a husband and wife team that shot my sister-in-law's wedding a few years ago in Dallas. We loved their work so much that we flew them up to New York for our wedding this June and had a great experience. They were very flexible with our package and their travel...every time I looked around, I saw them standing nearby to capture the moment. While I haven't seen all of their pictures from the wedding yet, the "preview" I managed to see was breathtaking. We were so happy with them and will definitely use them for photos in the future!

  Stephanie and Joe Ellis are the most talented photographers in the business! They know how to capture every moment and how to take fun and unique photos that you will love every time you look at them.

  Words can not describe how awesome I think Joe & Stephanie are.
  
  They did our engagement pictures in Grapevine, TX in October. Stephanie suggested that we did them in downtown Grapevine and Grapevine Lake. Joe has such an artistic eye, and would find awesome photo ops in the most unusual places. For example, one of our engagement pictures is along a white picket fence... What you don't see is a run down, trashed out, gross house in the background!
  
  We loved our engagement pictures. We felt like they were very good photographers, and were very capable of capturing our wedding day. They so exceeded my expectations.
  
  We only got married 2 days ago, so I have not seen the pictures yet-- but one of the first things that my husband and I discussed the morning after the wedding is how happy we were that we hired them for our wedding. Joe arrived around 3:30pm to capture pictures of us getting ready. He was very professionally dressed, in a black suit.
  
  My husband and I did a "first look", and Joe and Stephanie set it up for us perfectly. It was such a romantic moment for the 2 of us.
  
  We took a bunch of pictures with our wedding party. There was a total of 16 people in the wedding party, so I'm sure he felt like he was herding cats, but he never appeared to get frustrated.
  
  Our reception lasted until 1:30AM (making a VERY long day for Joe!), and during the reception, I don't think that I was ever out of his sight. I saw him out of the corner of my eye the ENTIRE night. While he was ALWAYS THERE, i never felt uncomfortable or like i needed to be posed or like i couldn't be myself. One of my bridesmaid's Facebook statuses the next morning was. "I'm kind of sad that a camera crew isn't following me around anymore. I was starting to think I was on a reality show!"
  
  I felt like Joe & Stephanie truly cared about us, and our event.
  
  I can not wait to get our pictures.
  
  If there is 1 vendor that you hire, make sure that it's Joseph Mark Photography.

  We used Stephanie and Joe for our engagement pictures all the way through to the wedding day. In my opinion they take some of the BEST pictures i have seen. I loved working with them every step of the way. They have an eye for capturing the small details as well as capturing the overall story of the wedding. I cannot thank them enough for all of the special moments they captured during this special time. LOVE THEM!

  We absolutely loved working with Joe and Stephanie. They are the consummate professionals, easygoing, and extremely talented. Stephanie handles all the business and usually responds within 48 hours. Joe did our engagements with our year old 80 pound lab puppy, and they turned out phenomenal. Joe is great at improvising and creating amazing shots. And he manages to put everyone at ease, especially the bride! I can't say enough about them. Working with them was the THE best decision we made for our wedding!

  When I got engaged, the first thing I did was make sure Joseph Mark Photography was available for the wedding day we wanted even before booking our venue! It was THAT important to me that Joe and Stephanie shot our wedding, because they are THAT good. I had seen some of Joseph and Stephanie's work after viewing photos of my friends wedding and I was taken back at the beauty of their work- I couldn't be happier with my choice in this talented couple to be the photographers at our wedding!
  
  Joe and Stephanie just make you feel immediately warm and comfortable. They are so kind and never pushy, and there were never any cameras distracting us by being in our faces. I couldn't believe the shots they captured while being so discrete. My bridal photos, wedding photos and the slideshow they put together for us capture every detail I wanted to remember from our special day, and even really tender moments I forgot even happened! It brought tears to all of our eyes when we watched the slideshow by truly making us feel we were back on that day. We were even able to show the video to Johnny's grandparents who couldn't join us that weekend and they too were able to capture and feel the sincerity and emotions of the weekend THROUGH the slideshow of photos.

  I used Joseph Mark for my engagement and bridal pictures. My only regret is that I used a different photographer for my wedding (my wedding wasn't local). If I had to do it over again, I would certainly use Joseph Mark for all my wedding needs. Amazing pictures! Can't count all the compliments I've gotten. Easy to work with. Good rates!

  I absolutely can't speak enough good words about Joseph Mark Photography! Our engagement and wedding pictures are spectacular, and we couldn't be happier!   Joseph, Stephanie, and Mark are hands down the most amazing photographers and sweetest people and I couldn´t be happier that we hired them for our wedding. I interviewed several photographers before deciding on JosephMark Photography and the reason I ultimately chose them is their passion. Joe, Stephanie and Mark love capturing memories. They put my husband and I at ease immediately and the emotion in our photos just jumps off the page. We don´t look posed or staged at all. We look real and in love and completely natural and JosephMark Photography made that happen. They are very professional and feel like family at the same time. They were a seemless part of our wedding, and they caught things on camera that my husband and I never saw. So, looking at the proofs online feels like a whole new experience and I love seeing everyone having a fabulous time. We even had a photo booth and everyone had so much fun with it. I just wish we had time to get over there more. I can´t wait to choose the pictures for our wedding album. But the reason I hired them was because of their amazing candids. They will capture the emotion of your wedding day unlike any other photographer. The teary eyed hug my sister in law gave my husband immediately after the ceremony, the mischevious grin I flashed at my girlfriends before I threw the bouquet, the emotion on my groom's face during our last dance of the night - they caught it all. I would recommend these photographers to anyone - it'll be one of the best decisions you make during your planning process!

  Joe and Stephanie were awesome. They were the only photographers that I found who can really tell a story with their photos. I love their mix of candid and formal photos. They were very easy to work with and made my family feel very comfortable. They were very timely in the delivery of the photo proofs and online album. I like that they give you the DVD with all of your photos. I haven't put together my wedding album with them yet because I can't decide which photos to use--they are all great. I hope to use them to take photos of our new baby.

  Joe and Stephanie are simply fantastic. They are easy and fun to work with, and our pictures turned out beautifully. Everyone who has seen the online slideshow has been absolutely blown away. Any question or concern we have had has been answered very much to our satisfaction. I highly recommend them and will most certainly use them again if we are in need of professional photographers.
