If you are looking for a live wedding singer, a wedding DJ, or even better BOTH... look no further than Josh! Josh sang for our ceremony and DJ'd our reception and both turned out absolutely perfect. Josh has the voice of an angel and was a perfect addition to our ceremony. He is willing to learn songs that aren't on his song list and it made our ceremony all the more special. When people say music can make or break the reception, they mean it! Without Josh, our reception would've been dull. He genuinely kept everyone dancing all night! We highly recommend that you hire Josh for all of your wedding music needs, he will not disappoint you or your guests! -

I booked Luke Bellet through Josh Klaus Music. Luke is talented and professional! He was open to learning new songs to fit our vision and very communicative in the planning process. Josh's selection for 'Best of Weddings 2024' by the Knot is no fluke! We hired him to serenade our ceremony, set the mood during cocktails, and serenade our first dance. Then, seamlessly transitioning to DJ, he kept the dance floor alive! Josh's talent is matched only by his contagious energy. Our guests raved about the unique vibe he curated. Josh Klaus - Best Wedding DJ/Musician
Josh was not only our DJ but he played guitar and sang for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Josh's voice is amazing and everyone commented how they thought we were playing recorded music while they were arriving for the ceremony. He then followed that up by being the life of the party and one of the best DJs we have seen at a wedding! He was great at reading the room and getting everyone on the dance floor. He even got out on the dance floor with everyone! We couldn't have asked for someone better to be a part of our special day and we couldn't recommend him more to someone looking for a DJ/musician.Josh Klaus Music's reply:

I really don’t even know where to start or have the words to describe how perfect hiring Josh for our wedding weekend was. I wanted something fun and different for music for our ceremony and after looking at all options I couldn’t get the elegance and calmness of Josh’s voice and music out of my head. I knew I needed him to sing for our ceremony. He was so incredibly easy to work with and took all of our requests and accommodated. He was fun and felt like our biggest fan throughout the weekend! He made us feel like this wasn’t just another wedding for him and he actually was excited to be there and make magic for our day. When planning our rehearsal dinner we were trying to figure out did we just want to make a playlist or have someone there to dj/emcee speeches. We reached out to Josh and he was happy to DJ and emcee for us! It was SO fun to have him there both days. HE REALLY CAN DO IT ALL!!! Highly highly recommend Josh for all your music needs for your events and wedding and I will continue to recommend him for time to come. Thank you so much for being a part of our big weekend! -

This is the DJ you want, I'd book him while you can!
The City of Austin Director of Music recommended him and now we know why. He made the wedding reception/dinner/dancing so much fun with his energy and he has an amazing voice. He ticked all the boxes and does it on his own: Plays music, sings, DJs, MCs, sets up in multiple locations, and just brings amazing energy to the event.
I still have so many people reaching out saying how great he was and if they can get his contact information. He also learned a song for one of our first dances in a couple weeks.
On top of all of this you'd think he'd be a fortune to book, but he is more than reasonable. -

We felt so lucky to have Josh provide the music for our wedding!! He's a mega talent and was definitely a highlight of the day. He learned multiple songs on the guitar for the ceremony and was a spectacular DJ that kept the dance floor pumping the entire night. Guests were raving about how talented and fun he made the night. I'd highly recommend booking Josh for your wedding or event, he's amazing!

tl;dr - Stop looking for other entertainment vendors and just book Josh. Just do it. Hell, book your entire wedding around him - he's worth it! I found Josh in a roundabout way.
I was looking for a signage vendor, and one vendor I was interested in had Josh perform at her own wedding. After looking at a few videos, I was VERY intrigued. I had already reached out to a handful of DJs, but I knew that the combination of acoustic performance + DJ services would be perfect for our wedding. This is also very unique, from what I can tell, and helps bridge the gap between a typical DJ and a full-on band, the latter of which may not be desired for certain reasons, including budgetary ones.
Josh responded quickly and after a phone call, we were all set. He was extremely amenable to our need to reschedule our wedding due to F1 (boo!), which we really appreciated. As wedding time approached, he was very responsive and helpful in terms of both guiding us in making any final entertainment decisions, but also listening to what we were looking for.
On the day of the wedding, from our perspective, everything went perfectly. Josh performed acoustic for our pre- and post-ceremony cocktail hours, as well as for the processional and dinner. He then DJ'd our first dances and the reception. He also provided MC services throughout, and he did so with aplomb. He brings a spectacular energy to the dancefloor, which we loved because we had a more "elder millennial" crowd who needs more liquid courage to get the dance moves going. I can't tell you how many people complimented Josh to us on the night of the wedding and afterward - he has been, by far, the most reviewed vendor we had. He is also just really nice and really fun, which is important for a wedding team.
SO... just do it! Book Josh! You won't regret it and your wedding will be better for it!
