  Josh is a must hire!

  Josh was so organized and friendly from the very beginning. He really cares about what you want for your ceremony and reception. He has an amazing process to help you pick music, vibes, timing, etc. I’m so glad we had the chance to work with him. He was also so flexible when we had a last minute venue change and was so reassuring that everything would turn out perfectly. He had everything we needed from start to finish. He truly went above and beyond! We especially love that he took so many photos for us (without us asking him to) and shared them all the day after our wedding! He’s so kind and great at what he does.

  A Perfect Experience

  We had an excellent experience working with Josh. In the lead up to the wedding, he was responsive, gave great advice, and was really invested in creating the wedding that we wanted. Josh knows what he's doing when it comes to weddings, so we gave him our timeline, and he kept things moving from one part of our wedding to the next. Even without a wedding planner or coordinator, we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing that Josh was guiding our guests from ceremony to cocktail hour, to toasts, dinner, dancing, cake, and on to more dancing! He was flexible and able to make changes in the moment, and we and our guests had so much fun! It was truly a wonderful night, and we couldn't be happier with our choice to work with Josh.

  Can't recommend enough

  Going into the process for the first time (obviously) we had a hard time assessing DJ's for our wedding. You can get a general sense from reviews of whether someone has done a good job and is experienced, but I don't think you can get the full picture of Josh's abilities from those.
  He sets up your personal event website which allows you to easily plan your event out, from what songs you want to walk down to the aisle to, to what songs you want at cocktail hour vs. dancing. He lets you give guidance on when to start and stop each of the songs at the key events, but also gives recommendations on when to do so, and he generally has the best plan.
  
  He also honored our request to wear a tuxedo for our Old Hollywood glam theme, and had the time to take some phone photos at key moments even while he kept the music rolling! He was extremely organized and kept track of the schedule and made sure to track us down for the few times we weren't on the dance floor to make sure we were ready to proceed to the next scheduled event (like a Greek dance!).
  In summary we felt he did a terrific job balancing our wishes and vision with his suggestions from his vast professional experience. In his words, "A lot of DJ's can play a great set, but this is your day and your wedding".

  Organized, fun and professional DJ

  Josh DJ’d our wedding in early June. Working with Josh leading up to the wedding it was clear he was a very organized and experienced professional. He had a great portal that allowed us to create “preferred” songs for cocktail hour and dancing. We had a very detailed meeting before the wedding that made us very confident in him. At the wedding, Josh figured out how to add on an extra hands free microphone we had brought last minute for our officiant as well as a wireless mic for us to say our vows. Josh also went above and beyond and was willing to MC a trivia game for us (which we did in lieu of speeches) which ended up being so fun! During the dance party, Josh was very in tune to the vibe of our guests and played the perfect songs (even outside of our requested songs) and made our dance party the most fun! We had very briefly considered just making a playlist instead of hiring a DJ but Josh picked excellent songs based on the atmosphere of the crowd (which a playlist obviously can’t do) making it so much more fun. Josh also was essential in managing the microphones and sound for the ceremony and the overall flow of the wedding. Hiring a professional DJ, and more specifically Josh, allowed us to relax and not worry about those details on our wedding day. Josh also took a ton of pictures and videos for us throughout the night and sent them to us after the wedding! This was such a special touch and so great to have more photos while we wait for the photos from our photographer. We are so happy with how our wedding turned out and would absolutely hire Josh again!

  Best Wedding DJ Ever!!!

  Josh is a phenomenal DJ. We hired him for our wedding and the event was hailed as (not just one of the best weddings) but as one of the best parties our guests had ever attended. Josh took our music preferences and added to them, making our reception incredibly high energy and fun. Pretty much everyone was up and dancing the entire time.
  
  In terms of organization, Josh is incredibly attentive and communicative. He learns about you in order to run your event perfectly tailored to who you are and what you want. The entire process was very personalized and we felt very taken care of.
  
  We highly recommend Josh for any event you need DJ'd.

  Great Energy

  Josh has such a great, confident but kind energy, which is the exact kind of energy I wanted at my wedding. He's very flexible and completely caters the event to what your vision is, and I could not recommend him enough!

  Exceeded expectations

  I booked Josh to dj at my wedding. He was very professional and organized. We booked him with short notice and he was able to accommodate us. He showed up when he said he would, he set up promptly and was extremely easy and enjoyable to work with. His experience in his field really shows and I would love to get married again and have him there. It was that good a time!

  he kept the party going

  Let's just say I didn't even get to MEET my DJ until the day of because of a crazy schedule (and me being awful about having to stick to schedules). Josh was at my site early, made it easy for us to add and take off songs, as well as taking the songs we added and playing songs that we liked based off of what was added to his website. He had a huge smile on his face the entire time, MC'd, and kept the party going all the way up until the very last song. Thank you so much for everything!

  Amazing DJ/MC

  Josh was absolutely amazing DJ and MC. We would not have asked for a more experienced, responsive, flexible, knowledgeable, patient DJ. From the first interaction, Josh made us feel as he is there to help us make our experience fun and pleasant and that's exactly what he did!!! After the first meeting, my now husband said how impressed he was with Josh's knowledge of music and experience and the time he spend getting to know us as a couple and working with us on the songs we wanted as well as how we wanted the reception to be led. All the way through the end of our event, Josh has been amazing throughout!! Our guests loved the music he played and how he ran the entire reception!! Josh was so patient with us, especially since we were so very last minute with picking our wedding songs and deciding on the timeline, toasts, etc. I wouldn't have asked for a better experience!! Even though Josh was on the more expensive side then the other DJs we got quotes from and we were on the tight budget, we decided to go with Josh and it was definitely worth the investment!! We are totally recommending Josh to anyone who needs a great DJ and MC!!!

  I had attended multiple wedding expos prior to m big day. I was exhausted to meet dj after dj that was cheesy or lacked a certain X factor I was searching so desparetely for... Then I met Josh! You will not regret making the decision to go with him as your DJ/MC .. Take it from me- I go about 100 miles a minute and Josh had no problem keeping up, as well as adapting to any and all las minute changes I made. All the while keeping me grounded and secured that everything would go off without a hitch.. I can't imagine having anyone else in charge of such an important part of our big day. Thanks Josh!!!!

  I have been to numerous weddings in my life, (and officiated at several), however this wedding was perfected because of Josh. The ladies that were "supposed" to direct were of little use;Josh noticed that (without anyone saying a thing) and basically saved the day. Not only did he go above and beyond; he provided special,personal touches throughout the occasion I had never seen before.
  He had such a unique, and personable, manner about him that it felt as if he were a friend of the family, without becoming invasive to our intimate moments.
  'Music on the Move' not only provided the most excellent service, they gave a most precious gift in the end.(Which I will not reveal!!! Brought tears to our eyes)...Thank you so much for making this very special day, absolutely incredible. God Bless you in your venture to California.

  Josh was great. He was organized, on time, and flexible. He kept all of our Vendors in the loop leading up to our wedding day, and even reached out to my Florist regarding centerpiece giveaways when I didn't have the time to do so. Josh provided everything we wanted throughout our ceremony and reception, kept us relaxed and informed at all times, and checked in with us to make sure we heard the music we wanted for the last 30 minutes of our reception. He's a really great guy and we definitely recommend his services.

  Joshua was an absolute pleasure to work with. My now husband and I have hectic and opposite schedules and Josh was very flexible in making appointments. He was also always a quick text or call away and always happy to answer my many questions.
  Josh made our wedding ceremony and reception so smooth and fun! A good DJ is pivotal to a fun reception and he kept the party going. He also had a lot of creative ideas but was also willing to be as hands on or off as we wanted him to be.
