Being new to Colorado, I wasn't familiar with local photographers. I needed someone for both our engagements and wedding. I researched for months and kept going back to Josie V Photography. I was instantly drawn to her style, compositions, and use of color and vibrancy. Gorgeous style without being "trendy". Timeless, but not boring. She was extremely easy going and kind. Communication was always easy and galleries arrived on time, despite being such a busy year for weddings! After being blown away by our engagements, I knew I could fully trust in her to capture our wedding day. She went beyond! We received sneak peaks during our honeymoon and were in tears! More than I could have imagined. She also added cute extra polaroids and film shots. Truly a master juggling all of her equipment! haha I truly feel like she captured the entire feelings of the day. The chaos and giggles with my girls, the love with my sisters and parents. Details. And then the beautiful moments during our ceremony and after. Our couple shots are out of this world. Even when I felt sometimes insecure about doing photos like that, she made me feel normal and relaxed and just focused on eachother. ...which was easy. The sun was also beating down during and after our ceremony. I was worried ab the sunlight being too intense on our faces and for our family pictures. But they all came out beautiful thanks to her professional eye and talent! I've received countless comments about my photos and couldn't be more thrilled. Josie is truly the BEST at showcasing your love and the stunning Colorado landscapes. My family and I will cherish these photos for a lifetime. The hardest part will be choosing which ones to get printed large for our home, bc they truly are all so beautiful and special! 100% recommend trusting and booking Josie for your special life moments. #1 vendor choice! -

Josie is a delight to work with from beginning to end. She was so helpful in planning the big day from timing to photo ideas, and made sure she knew us as a couple and what we wanted from our day. She gave us tips and made sure we were all on the same page before we even got to our wedding weekend. On the day of our ceremony and reception she arrived early and immediately made both of us and our parties feel relaxed and at ease. I often times feel awkward in front of a camera and she worked with me and set me up for success. She gave small tips, set up unique shots, and fit right in. She captured everything that we wanted to be highlighted and more. In less than 48 hours we had a bunch of STUNNING sneak peak photos from our wedding. Each one is truly a work of art and we cannot wait to see the rest. The colors, composition, and lighting are impeccable, I cannot wait to see the entire collection. To top it all off, we just got mail with the polaroids from our day, they are equally as impressive and just such a beautiful personal touch. I cannot imagine having a better wedding photographer and we would choose her again in a heartbeat. Thank you Josie! -

Josie was wonderful to work with! From our initial intro meeting to our wedding day, she was fun, made you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and did a fabulous job of being creative & making sure that all the shots that you wanted fit in throughout the day! I absolutely loved receiving a handful of polaroid's at the end of our wedding night that we could take & enjoy immediately - such a great personal touch! And a few days later, while all of our friends & family were still buzzing about the wonderful time they had at our wedding celebration we received a bunch of preview pictures. They turned out fantastic & have Taylor & myself even more excited to see our entire gallery in a couple of months. I highly recommend hiring Josie to be your photographer for your big day! You will be glad you did & reliving your day over & over with her gorgeous photos. -

My wife and I hired Josie for our wedding day and she took the most authentic photos. There is a specific sequence of photos that make us cry, laugh, and giggle every time we look at them. She has a talent to capture every true moment. We got married at City Hall, but the photos she took were spectacular. She focused on us and the importance of our union as a same-sex couple. She gently guides you if she wants to capture a specific shot and makes the entire process fun.
She provides high-quality photos and edits in the most natural way. Josie is kind and friendly and willing to go above and beyond for a great shot. My wife and I highly recommend Josie, and encourage you to book her for all your special moments. -

Josie ensured my entire wedding day was stunning. She drove up to our mountain lake location and scoped out lighting and picture perfect spots for the actual wedding day in advance. She makes you feel like you've been friends for years, is a natural connector and an incredible artist. Our entire family, bridal party, friends felt so comfortable and welcomed around her. She captured our entire day perfectly and 3 years later our friends, family, and strangers still rave about how beautiful our wedding was and how amazing our photographer is. I am so grateful she is a part of our adventure and so perfectly captured the memories of that day. -
