I actually booked with the sub division Journese and Mary was awesome!!!! We booked our travel through Pleasant Holidays in addition to using their bridal service. This is where guests book through them and then you get a $25 per person credit (for travel to Hawaii- not sure on the other locations). For our own personal travels, we loved Pleasant Holidays. We were able to find "Hot Deals" that allowed us to stay in our first choice hotels/ resorts while staying in our budget. We also had to change a flight 4 months before the wedding. They allowed us to do this with a $75 fee which we greatly appreciated.
Half way through our wedding planning, our wedding coordinator was changed for our guest coordinator. This is the part of the service that I am not happy with. We had many guests use their service under the impression that their travel qualified for the $25 credit. We are being told a month after our ceremony that this is not true. This is especially frustrating because they require that my guests call in to make their reservations through their wedding specialist. At this time, they should have told our guests that their package did not qualify. In addition, we have yet to receive our credit from them.
In the future, I would consider booking my own personal vacation through Pleasant Holiday if I was able o find a "Hot Deal." Otherwise, I think I will try to find a good deal elsewhere. I would not recommend using their wedding services as the payoff is not great and it is very misleading. It is disappointing that your guests book through them to help you out and yet they are not given the fine print. Expensive Nightmare!
Journese booked a week long stay at the Westin Frenchman’s Reef in St Thomas for my daughter and my son for my daughter’s wedding. They failed to book the the reservation resulting in my daughter and son being billed at check out for the same charges I had paid in advance 6 weeks prior to their stay.
