  Nafa and the whole Judah Avenue team are incredible from the day you sign your wedding contract to the day of your wedding and beyond when you receive your pictures! Our wedding photographers went above and beyond on our day. Alex and the team really went the extra mile to ensure we had incredible pictures that we can look forward to reviewing for years to come.   Judah Avenue is awesome! I've worked with her on a wedding which was done with so much professionalism, and the photos were released in only a matter of weeks instead of months! The photos were also featured on various wedding websites and social media accounts because they were so awesome. In addition, I asked Nafa to take my business headshots in preparation for some speaking engagements that I have lined up,and once again she didn't disappoint! I would highly recommend Judah Avenue for wedding photography in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. You won't regret it!

When it comes to a wedding, it's imperative that the team capture every moment for the beauty that it is. And we are blown away with the result.   Judah Avenue was God sent!

  Words can’t describe our amazing experience with Judah Avenue as our wedding photographer and videographer! Judah Avenue was truly God-Sent! When we first contacted Judah Avenue and spoke with Suzan, we knew right away that it was a perfect match! Both Suzan and Susan made the booking and planning process so smooth and easy.
  We were unable to meet the Judah Avenue team prior to our wedding as we are out of town, however when the team arrived on our wedding day with the most positive energy, we had an instant connection and had so much fun together! Our wedding day was glorious and Judah Avenue captured every moment beautifully! Only 3 days after our wedding, Maria sent us a sweet video teaser as well as a few lovely photos of my husband and I. We were blown away by how beautiful they were! We couldn’t wait to share with our family and friends!
  We would absolutely recommend Judah Avenue a million times over! If you are looking for a professional, experienced, prompt, extremely talented, and super fun wedding photographer and videographer in the DMV area, Judah Avenue is the most excellent choice!

  A day to remember

  Judah Avenue is hands down the best photography company you can ever work with. I had been seeing their pictures here and there on instagram and was waiting for a reason to be able to book with them. Once I got engaged, there was no question on who I was going to go with. We had Joy and Nigel for our day of. They blended in and were like guests at our wedding all while capturing some of the most amazing moments of our day. They were fun and personable the entire way through. Book them, you won't regret it!!

  Superb! Best Wedding Photographers in the DMV!

  After a lot of researching and deliberating, we decided to hire Judah Photography, one of the best wedding photographers in the DMV area (Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia), to capture our wedding day during the Memorial Day weekend 2019. This was by far one of the best decisions we made concerning our wedding vendors! One of the reasons is, before the wedding, Judah Photography, kept in constant contact with us. From the beginning of our relationship the whole Judah team made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our wedding day. SuZan was always readily available to answer any and every question promptly and provided expert level recommendations. We had a number of detailed and inviting telephone conversations about wedding details as well as our love story so that the photographers didn’t only capture the visual aspects of the wedding but tried to encapsulate who we were.
  
  We finally had the opportunity to meet in person the day of the wedding and it felt like old friends coming in town for the celebration. Nafa, Huy, and Taby floated seamlessly among our various venues, the bridal party, and amongst our guests: getting ready in the hotel, on the way to the ceremony, at the wedding ceremony, on the way to and at the reception. Everyone knows that things do not always go as planned with weddings, and as true professionals, Judah Avenue adapted to the circumstances. For example, we were scheduled to take pictures as the sun was setting. However, because the reception started late, we missed the timing. Nonetheless, Nafa and Taby pulled us out of the reception for a few minutes and captured the most beautiful evening photos--beyond what we ever imagined.
  
  Now, on to the surprise and real treat of viewing our photos after the wedding. We were told that we would receive our photos 6-8 weeks after the event but received them within 3 weeks. The pictures were nothing short of amazing; our first impression was the color, all of the pictures were bright and the colors really popped off the page. The pictures were beautiful and the photographers went out of their way in order to catch us in a variety of poses and truly flatter us. If you want an intimate wedding photography experience with amazing, show-stopping pictures, go with Judah Photography, for your wedding! You won’t regret it; they make memories!

  Engagement and wedding photography

  WE LOVE JUDAH AVENUE!! Their creativity during our photo shoot with them made our engagement photos look absolutely amazing. We used our engagement photos for our invitations, programs, and decor. They are absolutely amazing photographers who really care about making their customers happy. They make you feel like family which in turn makes for a very comfortable photo shoot! I am so excited to see the photos from our wedding day!

  Professional, Kind, Caring from beginning to end !

  Wow ! Where to start! Robert and I are so grateful to the Judah Avenue Photography Team - they did such a great job treating us like family, all while being professional and making sure they had all things in order so our wedding day would be captured perfectly from beginning to end.
  
  Speaking of beginning - our special relationship with Judah Avenue started before Robert even proposed! We had the honor of meeting Nafa (and being exposed to the professionalism and creative talent of Judah Avenue) the very first day Robert and I met - which happened to be at a wedding (where I knew the bride and Robert knew the groom). We were blessed to have a very first day of meeting capture in such beauty ... fast forward a year and six months and we were reunited with Nafa on OUR wedding day! We even were able to recreate our first picture together !
  
  Having Judah Avenue Photography as our wedding photographer vendor was one of the best choices we made. If you’re in the washington dc, maryland or virginia area, your best choice is Judah Avenue !   My advice for future brides and grooms considering Judah as your photographer for your wedding day is to just go ahead and DO IT!! You will not regret booking with Judah. Our entire team was simply amazing. Joy and Joseph were our photographers on our wedding day and they were beyond amazing. They weren't pushy and controlling.   Judah Avenue Photography is the real deal for a wedding photographer in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. If your looking for a professional photographer that does excellent work, look no further!!! You will work with some great members of the Judah Avenue team (Nafa - she's beyond amazingggggggg, Joseph, Taby, Suzan, Maria and Susan). From top to bottom, beginning to end, they took care of my husband/I, family, and friends. I will definitely be using them again.

  There was 2 things I knew for sure: That I wanted to marry my husband & that I wanted to have Judah Avenue as our Wedding Photographer.
  
  I emailed Judah Avenue in March of 2017 and for the second time in my life, I felt like the luckiest girl in the world! THEY WERE AVAILBLE! And offered Wedding videography! I worked with Suzan to place my deposit and sign the contract immediately!
  
  Going SO above and beyond, Susan helped coordinate the timeline & participated in numerous conference calls with my day-of-coordinator. Susan's calmness, knowledge, professionalism, and compassion really made such a difference in the weeks before my wedding. The day before my wedding, Nafa called to relate how excited she was to photograph the wedding and asked if there were any last minute things that they could help with. After getting off the phone with her, I couldn't help but feel so lucky. On the day of the wedding, Susan emailed me her best wishes and congratulations for the day.
  
  So the wedding day came and we had the pleasure of working with photographers Nafa, Nii, and Joseph, videographers Sherwyn, Kai, and Biam, and manager Nigel. While this may sound like a lot of people, once the reception got started, they completely blended into the crowd! Both the photographers & videographers were so helpful in terms of posing, timelines, ideas for pictures, & suggestions throughout the night. They were so fun, & kind, & flexible with our suggestions as well- we could not have asked for a better experience. They truly made it feel like we had invited our closest friends to our wedding, who happened to have cameras and be wearing black. They were so amazing, they were even able to pull my husband and I aside during the reception for a mini sparkler session!!
  
  Its been 6 weeks, & Maria has sent us over 150 pictures and a highlight video- with the full gallery being available in just a few weeks! We could not be more impressed and in love with the work we have seen so far!

  One of the BEST decisions I made during my wedding planning process was selecting Judah Avenue as my photography and videography team. I was introduced to Judah Avenue’s work via Instagram and was so impressed. Everyone on the team provided excellent, five star customer service. Nafa, the owner, was extremely warm and personable, she answered all of my questions and easing any of my concerns.
  In the months leading up to the wedding, I worked with Leslie, Susan, and Suzan, who handled the logistics of everything from assisting me with the all the paperwork to getting a detailed timeline of the wedding to ensure that the photography and videography team would be all set for capturing our big day. All three ladies were so nice and helpful every time we communicated. Their customer service was nothing short of five star.
  On our wedding day, we had two photographers and two videographers. While we were getting ready in the hotel, Joy (photo) and Dylan (video) worked with the girls and Nii (photo) and Sherwyn (video) worked with the guys. My bridesmaids and I absolutely LOVED Joy. She was so bubbly and fun. All seven of my bridesmaids commented that they definitely wanted her to shoot their wedding. The girl’s videographer, Dylan was quiet but very nice and professional. He and Joy worked really well together. My husband also loved working with Nii and Sherwyn while he and his groomsmen were getting ready. They too were very extremely professional and easy to work with.
  After the wedding, we worked with Maria who helped us with everything from the wedding album to downloading our photos and videos. Like everyone else on the team, she provided excellent customer service. She was always prompt in her responses, so kind and professional.
  If you are looking for professionals who do beautiful work, do yourself a favor and hire Judah Avenue. They are the best wedding photographer and videographer team in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

  Nafa and her team are hands down the BEST wedding and life style photographers that I have ever had the pleasure of working with!! I consider my husband I blessed to not only to know Nafa and have her do our wedding, it was a honor! Being in the event and wedding industry myself, I have worked with some of the best photographers in the DMV over the years, but by far Nafa and the team at Judah Avenue Photography are my favorite! Other than Judah Avenue having amazing photographers they also have great staff in Susan and Suzan, they're so sweet and super responsive, they are the best when it comes to customer service, which is always huge in my book.

  Upon receiving the first set of photos, we were beyond impressed! We received many compliments from friends and family commenting that these are the best wedding photos that they've seen. If I could recommend anything it would be to provide 1 or 2 edited photos of the bride and groom within 24-48 hours from the wedding. That would really take the service over the top.
