  Julia is AWESOME. My husband and I met with a bunch of photographers and none seemed quite right until we met Julia. She was so organized and exact with what we should look for, our ceremony time, lighting, outfits for engagement pictures, etc. We both hate taking pictures so it was amazing that she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Not to mention, the pictures she took are STUNNING! We have received so many compliments on the pictures she took for both our engagement session and wedding. I can't say enough good things about her. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

  Julia came highly recommended to me through a friend in the wedding industry. When I first spoke with Julia, she suggested that I ask all photographers I was interviewing to share a full wedding album (rather than just relying on select photos on each website) so I could really get a sense of each photographers creative style. Best advice ever as this really helped me determine who I felt would capture my big day perfectly...and that was Julia. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Julia throughout my year long engagement. She is organized, thorough, professional and personable. I needed someone who could wrangle the bridal party and family and take charge so that our timeline for the day remained in tact and Julia executed this seamlessly. I think what I appreciate most about working with Julia is that she came to me with a suggestion and asked me to trust her recommendation (she's the professional after all!) The lighting where I wanted to do my first look wasn't ideal (too dark) and Julia offered a better alternative. I am so glad I trusted her and moved the first look location because what she captured brought me to tears and is stunning! She captured the best day of my life so perfectly.

  Julia and her assistant were amazing! Julia was so helpful with everything. I didn't have a wedding planner and she helped with vendors and timelines. I also wanted to take my engagement pictures earlier and she was happy to do so! She is worth every penny and would recommend her to EVERYONE!

  I knew from the minute I met with Julia that she was the perfect person to capture our wedding. She was very responsive, professional, and so helpful in laying out our wedding timeline. She captured details and smiles I'll treasure forever. The pictures were amazing and the album is a beautiful reminder of our day.

  There are so many words to describe my husband and I's experience with Julia Laible Photography, but most of them can be summed up into one. Julia has been an absolute DREAM to work with. During the time we were working on finding a wedding and engagement session photographer, we were living outside of the Charlotte area ( in Virginia Beach) and from Julia and I's initial conversation....I knew she was the one to go with! She not only made us feel extremely comfortable, but was asking thought-out questions to get to know Andrew and I on a more personal level. We could tell she wanted to understand and feel apart of our love story, and that genuine feeling was very clear in the images she captured of us. She captured our love story so effortlessly...in both our engagement session and at our wedding! Everyone that looked at our wedding images kept saying how every single person in every single image had a huge smile on their face and genuinely looked like they were having a good time, so much so it almost looked staged. That is EXACTLY how Andrew and I look at life & that is how we wanted our special day captured. Did I mention Julia had just had her precious baby girl a few weeks before the wedding?! She was a complete supermom/rockstar to photograph our wedding so passionately, especially being the first time she had to spend away from that little angel. The pictures were truly incredible and they are memories that we will forever cherish..Julia and her team were a complete dream to work with from the start of the engagement process until now! They are all so extremely talented and the images you get will blow you away. I feel lucky our paths crossed, and that I can now call her a friend. Cannot wait to work with her again in future projects/photo needs :) You would be doing yourself a huge favor going with Julia Laible Photography!

We were from out of town but she was willing to work with us on the details through email and phone calls. When coming into town, she was super flexible for getting together. We absolutely loved every picture she took at our wedding! What you can't see on her website is how great she is to work with. Julia is professional and extremely helpful, offering vendor suggestions and other assistance during the planning phase. From our initial conversation, I knew we could count on Julia to capture all the important moments on our big day!   Julia was WONDERFUL! I couldn't be happier with my wedding photos. She stay connected with me from our very first meeting and was very responsive and so helpful- even helped me find a makeup artist (whom I also loved!). Julia is very sweet, professional and just a beautiful person. I highly recommend her services for your wedding.

  Julia is beyond talented and passionate. She works magic with her photographs and is just so special in general - I can not be more thankful to have had her to capture our wedding day. Her use of light and nature and the scenery is so beautiful - I am in awe of both her and her work! I really can't say enough good things about her and the great part is I don't have to - her work speaks for itself! Couldn't recommend more highly.

  You cannot find a better photographer or person! I promise - I interviewed about 15 GREAT photographers for my big day (I know, I'm a little crazy about good photos though!) and was so torn on who to go with until I met with Julia. and then my decision was simple - i just knew she was the perfect fit instantly. Not only does she capture the most amazing images and she's so efficient at getting what you want (which is no easy feat on a jam packed wedding day) but she's also just such a sweetheart and the perfect presence to have with you on your most special day! It felt like one of my best friends was with me. And my husband adores her too. I think of Julia every day when I look at my absolutely gorgeous wedding pictures, and you will too!

  I found Julia from one of her amazing photos that was featured in Carolina Bride. Upon meeting her in person I knew with seconds I wanted her to photograph our wedding. Not only was it obvious from her photos how talented she was, but she was so genuine and sweet. She made us feel so special and important and really listened to our needs and wants.
  Julia was so helpful throughout the wedding planning process. She helped pick our location for engagement photos (whick took place in Charleston and were absolutely AMAZING), helped me decide the location for my bridal portraits (after giving me options based off where she thought my dress would photograph best), and was constantly checking in to make sure I felt confident and happy throughout the process. I'm not a big fan of having my picture taken and Julia took into consideration my insecurities and helped me feel comfortable along the way. She gave just the right amount of guidance and advice.
  I still look back on my engagement, bridal and wedding photos in amazement. Julia seemed to capture every emotion flawlessly.
  I received endless compliments (and still do to this day) on how all our photos turned out and I have Julia to thank for capturing one of the most special days of my life in absolute perfection.
  My husband and I have been married 2 years now and we still keep in touch with Julia.

  I am so absolutely excited to write this review. Julia is an amazingly talented photographer and we have loved having her a part of the engagement session and wedding. She is so kind and professional and quick with returning photos and providing sneak peeks. I caouldn't have picked a better photographer.

  I wanted one thing above all else on my big day: quality images to document it all. I could never have dreamed how much I would love each and every one of our wedding images. Julia has an eye for beauty and can capture light like no other. She's also pretty fun to boot! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a quality photographer to document their wedding day!

  Julia was very dynamic and very talented. We loved getting to know her during our engagement shoot. She does great with natural light and captured some beautiful moments during the sunset photos at our wedding. We are very grateful for how the pictures turned out overall!
