Loved my photoshoot
I had the pleasure of working with the exceptional Julianne Drake who truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped into the beach in beautiful Whidbey Island, she exuded warmth and professionalism, instantly putting me at ease. Her ability to move around effortlessly while capturing the perfect shot was truly remarkable. Not only was she incredibly talented behind the lens, but her personable nature made the entire experience enjoyable. Working with her felt more like spending time with a friend than a professional photoshoot. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking not only stunning photographs but also a comfortable and enjoyable session. -

Flawless experience
Hands down Julianne has been the best photographer we’ve had for both our couples shoot and then again for our wedding. She makes everything so easy and our pictures are always so beautiful. Her personality and love for photography makes the whole experience a million times better! -

Julianne made my fiancé’s proposal to me on Orcas Island such a special memory by capturing the moment so smoothly and with so much care+love. I had never spoken to her beforehand (my fiancé set up the photoshoot as a surprise) yet I felt as though she was a friend instantly. We got the photos back surprisingly quickly and they VASTLY surpassed our expectations. We’ll be so happily looking at these photos forever!! We highly recommend! -

If I could give Julianne 10 stars I would! She was just so amazing, professional, personable and creative. When I went to do my engagement photo shoot I was so nervous as that was my first time ever doing a photo shoot, she helped me feel comfortable and relaxed within minutes. I knew right after our session she was the one I definitely wanted to do our wedding. Leading up to the wedding she was in contact to make sure we had all the final details set and she asked for a list of specific pictures we wanted to get. On the wedding day she had such a positive attitude and was very energetic! That day was just amazing and having the pictures to look back on let me relive that day all over again. I would travel just to have to take our pictures again, that’s how much we loved using her!! I would recommend her a million times over, she definitely takes the time to get to know her clients and makes each connection personal and special. -

Don't question it, book her!
If I could go back and have Julianne as my wedding photographer, I'd do it without hesitation. But, she has captured our family in two different seasons of life. We are incredibly grateful for the memories she preserved through her art.
The first thing that struck me about Julianne’s work was her ability to make everyone feel comfortable and at ease. Her friendly and professional demeanor created a relaxed atmosphere, allowing us to be ourselves in front of the camera. She effortlessly blended into the background, capturing candid moments that truly reflect the emotions and interactions between our loved ones. I mean, I found her randomly scrolling insta, and now I have photos that will last my entire lifetime. Can’t ask for a better connection between photographer and client.
Julianne’s attention to detail is truly commendable. She has a keen eye for capturing the little moments that often go unnoticed but hold immense significance. From the laughter to the glances, I wouldn’t have thought twice about, Julianne managed to freeze those precious seconds in time. It's these small details that make her work so remarkable and meaningful.
One of the things we appreciate most about Julianne is her ability to adapt to different seasons and settings. We had the opportunity to work with her during both summer and fall, and she flawlessly captured the unique beauty of each season. Her creativity in utilizing the natural elements, such as blooming flowers and vibrant autumn foliage, added an extra touch of magic to our photos.
The impact of her work extends beyond the day of the shoot. Every day, as we walk past the printed and framed photographs on the walls of our house, we are reminded of the joy and love we experienced during those moments.

I had my first ever solo photoshoot with Julianne in August 2020. I was so nervous, but she made me feel SO comfortable and I had an absolute blast! Fast forward a couple of years, my hubby and I had the opportunity to book her again for our engagement session. The photos turned out absolutely incredible (just see our save the dates for proof)!! She created such a positive, energetic environment and it absolutely shines through our photos. I can’t wait to utilize Julianne’s services again and have another magical experience!!!! -

Julianne is SO personable. She has taken photos for my family twice and photographed one of my good friends wedding and has been nothing short of perfect each time. I struggle with confidence and that all goes out the window being in front of her camera 😂 Every shoot I’ve experienced with her I’ve left feeling like I spent time with a good friend.. which is an amazing quality for someone to have. You can’t go wrong! 🤍 -
