  Julie is great -- she did my makeup, and that of my bridesmaids, for my 3/21/2015 wedding. Julie brings a fun, relaxed energy, and she is a wonderful make up artist. I don't think I've ever looked prettier, and I still felt like myself. She is a great listener and doesn't try to push anything on you. My older sister never wears make up, and Julie was able to work with her to make her look even more beautiful than normal, but still feel comfortable and not self-conscious. Also, my make up was done at 11:45am, and stayed put until I went to bed at 2 in the morning! Nothing was caked on, I didn't feel like I was wearing a mask, and the products that Julie used were super gentle and did not cause me to break out (which can happen to me). In short, Julie is fun, professional, easy to get along with, and most importantly -- she makes people look amazing.
  
  Oh -- one last thing. One of my bridesmaids was wary of getting her make up done professionally because she is Asian and has had issues with other artists before that don't seem to know how to apply eye make up for her features. Julie does NOT have this problem. She made my friend look awesome, by working with her features, not against them.

  Julie Swenson and her associates came to the location of our daughter's NYE wedding. There were several woman (bride, attendants and family members) who had both hair and make-up done for the wedding and everyone looked amazing. Julie personally did my daughter's hair and make-up and it turned out exactly like she wanted. I would highly recommend Julie to any bride looking for a wedding day stylist.
  
  Julie is very responsive and accommodating. They arrived on site on time and everyone was finished and ready when promised.

  Julie and her assistant Dawn were lifesavers for our wedding day. I initially booked with another hair stylist who ended up needing to cancel. Luckily, this happened several months before our wedding and the first stylist recommended Julie. I did most of my contact with Dawn and she was incredibly pleasant and welcoming. She was always very timely with any questions I had and emails I sent her.
  
  They were extremely flexible with times on the day of the wedding and even came onsite (for a small extra charge), and that was really helpful!
  
  My trial was amazing and my hair on the day of was great as well. I would definitely recommend Julie and her assistant to anyone looking to have their hair professionally done for their wedding.

  I liked Julie's portfolio the best out of every hair and makeup company's I reviewed. I was willing to invest in high quality hair and makeup. You really get your bang for your buck with Julie and I absolutely LOVED my hair and makeup, she also did my bridesmaids' hair. She even helped my sister cover a zit on her chin and one of my bridesmaids that had a spray tan snafu! She and her assistant Dawn worked with us and they did an amazing job on all of us!

  Julie and her beauty team was amazing! In three hours they had my daughter,the bride, her five bridesmaids, and me looking and feeling absolutely fabulous! The hair and make-up garnished compliments too numerous to count! What a great way to start a beautiful day!

  Julie did my hair for my wedding day as well as hair for my bridesmaids. I absolutely loved my hair that day! She was very attentive and listened to what I wanted. She's very professional and accommodating. She's a great value and will travel to you. Love her!

  I used Julie Swenson Beauty for my wedding hair and makeup and couldn't have been happier. I scheduled a hair and makeup trial with her a few month before the big day to test it all out. I brought in a picture of what I thought I wanted my hair to look like, and she did exactly what was in the picture. I ended up not loving it, and she was very calm and helpful in getting me exactly what I did want. I was thrilled with the end results. My hair and makeup on my wedding day was absolutely perfect and I have never felt more beautiful in my life. My hair was very secure and she even sent me off with some extra bobby pins, even though I didn't need them. My makeup was beautiful, of course it looked like I had makeup on, but at the same time, it was subtle enough that it wasn't overwhelming and I still looked like myself. A couple of us did eyelashes, and those turned out beautiful as well. My makeup stayed put all night, and I never had to worry about touching up. Julie and her team did a wonderful job on the other bridesmaids, my mom and flower girl. Everyone was so happy, and we all got many compliments on hair and makeup. I would highly recommend Julie to any bride who wants to look beautiful on her wedding day.

  Nothing beats Julie's prices and with the experience and knowledge she has, I'd recommend her to everyone I know. Julie opened her studio to me and my bridesmaids -- seven of us in all, and did exactly what we asked of her -- and more! Everyone looked beautiful and most were happy with their service. Toward the end of the appointment, we were a bit rushed and the result was false eyelashes falling from faces and a bridesmaid who wasn't happy with her makeup (which wasn't done by Julie), but overall it was a success. The bride looked beautiful and that's all that matters.
