The experience was wonderful from start to finish! I didn’t really know what I was looking for in a wedding gown, but Julie knew exactly which dress was the one for me. She was so right! I saw so many dresses through wedding expos and planning websites and never once did I have second thoughts about my dress. It was always the perfect dress!
She helped us to find bridesmaid dresses that looked great together, but also expressed their personal style. My bridesmaids looked so gorgeous!
Aldina did such a beautiful job on all of our alterations. The bridesmaids looked so beautiful and their dresses fit like gloves. But it was on my dress, that she was truly a miracle worker. I lost 30 lbs before the wedding and she made the dress fit as though it was made for me. I received so many compliments and felt so beautiful. I loved that dress so much, that I wish I could wear again and again! -

User6065478 Sent on 10/01/2015Julie's bridal is a fantastic gem. Although the outside of the building does not look impressive, the service, quality of care, and dress selection are fabulous. Julie closes down the shop for bridal appointments so the bride and guests can go through all the dresses and have a unique and intimate experience. Julie is also a fireball, whose personality and honesty make the experience all the better. I went into Julie's thinking I knew what dress I wanted but Julie took one look at me and knew what she wanted to see me in. The dress she chose for me was the one I picked, which I would've NEVER tried without her!
Definitely recommend this boutique for all brides looking for the dress. -
User2166219 Sent on 06/06/2015Julie is amazing! I went to Julie for my first Jr. Bridesmaid dress and my prom dress so it seemed only natural to go back to her for my wedding dress. I don't have a single regret. I went for my wedding dress with no ideas in mind, I really dint know what I wanted. I walked out of there with my dress selected! I didnt even have to shop anywhere else! I told Julie the main thing I liked was a little sparkle, she pulled out a ton of dresses for me to try and interestingly enough, the very first dress I tried ended up being "the one" :)
Something GREAT that others have also mentioned is she does free alterations and also will hold you dress for you till the wedding day if you would like her to. Additionally, she gives every bride a complimentary garter.
Also she is so great with payment options. You can pay off your dress slowly with no interest added. She's amazing. Im so happy I went with her and I can't wait to try my dress on when I go for my fittings! -
User1293691 Sent on 08/19/2013Julie is a no b.s. kind of lady- she will tell you exactly what she thinks of the dresses you try on, and with years of experience she knows what she is talking about. She did both my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses - no charge for alterations for any of the dresses. Everything was beautiful, and Julie is a sweetheart to boot :) -

Matthew Sent on 06/20/2011Julie's Bridal was a great place to get my wife's dress. My wife's name is Julie also, so we knew from the start that it was fate! She found a dress online, and the nearest place that sold it was New Bedford. It's about an hour's drive, but well worth it!
Julie was so very nice, she is a great lady and very personable. You'll always have a good time getting fitted there. She got everything tailored just right. Even better, we saved a lot of money by going to her, as opposed to any other vendor! We have no complaints about her quality of work.
Highly recommended! -

Julie is amazing! she knew the exact dress for me from the moment i walked in! it was stunning! she is funny and helpful and extremely honest! she will not sell you a dress just to make a buck! you will walk out of there looking like the dress was made just for you! she cares about how you will look just as much as you do and she has an eye for what looks best for your body type - no matter your size! -

Amanda Sent on 11/13/2007Julie's was a great experience. We went into this little boutique in the heart of New Bedford. Not the safest of places, and not the best looking on the outside, but worth the trip.
Julie is about 4 foot 7, she said bring pictures and I did. She came back with 3 dresses based on my pictures. The second dress I tried on I bought!
I didnt have to go back to the shop until 6 weeks prior to the wedding. She then fit the dress perfectly, built in a custom bra and made my veil with pieces of my dress. I had a customized train on the dress and all these alterations were included in the price. I had to pay for the veil.
I went into a designer boutique in Boston and they had the same dress priced at $1800 plus alterations. At Julie's I got the dress for about $700 alterations included.
She made me feel like family and it is worth the trip to go to this place.
