  Where do I begin? I met with Kevin in his gorgeous little florist shop in Old Town Alexandria and it was just a great feeling from the start. He is by far the most passionate and dedicated person when it comes to his work! He was incredibly down to earth, easy to talk to, and open minded. Turns out he was getting married the very same day as we were. He was in full wedding planning mode himself and was able to share ideas and help me formulate a vision/theme for my event. He was able to see exactly what I described and create the arrangements I was dreaming of. They were absolutely perfect and even more beautiful than I expected. He answered all of my questions along the way as the planning process continued, and even changed a few things just weeks before the big day. I would also like to highlight that he was my only vendor that stayed on budget. The quality of all the flower arrangements was exceptional and all deliveries were executed on time. I would highly recommend his services to anyone planning a wedding (or any other event) in the Alexandria/Washington DC area!!

  I have gotten flowers from K Aubrey Flowers for many years. Kevin recently provided boutonnieres for my groom and his best man, a wrist corsage for my matron of honor, the bridal bouquet, centerpieces for the reception and for the outer area where cocktails were served post wedding. We had a planning meeting back in the summer and picked flowers that would be available in December - birds of paradise, hydrangeas, peach amaryllis, purple anemonies, mini white calla lilies and roses. The flower arrangements were spectacular and matched the colors of our wedding. Kevin is easy to work with and a true artist with flowers.

  K. Aubrey Flowers wasn't actually my first florist. I had another one confirmed, and had planned out every detail, when her husband took a job in Michigan and she had to move....4 months before my wedding!!!
  
  I found K. Aubrey Flowers because they are the florist for the Washington Golf & Country Club, my wedding venue. I was so incredibly happy that I ended up having to find him!!!!!
  
  He listened to my vision in terms of colors (plum & white), and style (modern) and ran with it! There were the most gorgeous arrangements in the church as I walked into the church for my procession. They were tall and used curly willow.
  
  At the venue, we used simple callas in vases on the cocktail tables. And then in the dining room, we had four really tall arrangements, again using curly willow and purple callas. The lower arrangements had three square vases of various sizes, each with their own arrangement.
  
  The flowers we had intended for the cake, didn't quite fit on the cake (we didn't realize the shape wouldn't leave much room between tiers) but they looked gorgeous decorating the cake table!
  
  Overall, I would recommend anyone to use K. Aubrey Flowers!!!! The execution of my vision was beyond my expectations. And he was actually really fun to work with too :-)

  Kevin was great to work with once I made contact with him (I think the shop was closed a lot in the summer and it took a combination of phone calls and emails to get pricing). He listened closely to what I was looking for and suggested I send some photos of examples of what I liked. He made two gorgeous bouquets for me! They were exactly what I was looking for and very tastefully done. He also made a great flower wreath and a few corsages. I highly recommend his shop.
