The best photographer ever!
Kaitlin Ahrens Photography photographed our November 2022 wedding at Glass Hill Venue in Goode, VA, and I would recommend her to every bride in need of a photographer!
We first contacted Kaitlin after seeing her work on Instagram for many years. The quality and style of her images stood out in a crowd of wedding photographers to us. We were looking for someone who would capture our day in a very authentic way with a light and airy style that was both modern and timeless. Kaitlin aligned with exactly the kind of photographer we were looking for.
Kaitlin made the process of wedding planning with her simple and easy. When we booked Kaitlin for our wedding, we filled out a questionnaire about our wedding, timelines, and specific details. This gave us peace of mind knowing she had a list of photos that were at the top of our priorities. With the KAP Wedding Package, we received a complimentary engagement session which was perfect for us to connect with Kaitlin as well as become more comfortable in front of the camera. Kaitlin made us feel like naturals and prepared us for posing on the wedding day. The engagement session was perfect and made us even more excited for Kaitlin to capture our wedding!
From the beginning, Kaitlin was so communicative, personable and flexible making our experience that much greater. She was always willing to spend time chatting with us about timeline changes, expectations, and details while planning.
On the day of our wedding, Kaitlin was so professional and creative, from the way she adapted to the timeline shifting around and family dynamics to making the most of the time we had to capture the special moments throughout the day and meeting our needs. Our family was so impressed with Kaitlin, as were we. Kaitlin has a great eye for detail and a natural talent behind the camera! She absolutely captured our day in the most perfect and authentic way possible.
Kaitlin sent us a large sneak peek of our wedding photos within 48 hours of the event. When my husband and I opened the photos we were speechless in how perfectly she captured our love for one another and the happiness of our wedding day. Each photo was unique in its own way, sharing our story through her lens. Receiving our final gallery was a very special day to us, as we got to relive our wedding day through her lens. We spent so much time enjoying each and every photo. We especially loved seeing the photos of our guests enjoying the day alongside of us. We will treasure these photos for the rest of our lives!
We are so grateful for Kaitlin capturing our wedding day, and we cherish this friendship we have created. We cannot think more highly of Kaitlin, she was absolutely the perfect wedding photographer and we cannot wait to book her for many more sessions in the future! Phenomenal. Everything was perfect.
If you're looking for your dream wedding photographer look no further. Kaitlin was everything we could of dreamed of and more. On our wedding day she showed up with open arms helping in every way possible. Kaitlin is one of the sweetest souls you'll ever meet. Right away she made it so easy for my husband and I to feel at home in front of her lens. Watching her go that extra mile to capture the vision is truly amazing. The pride Kaitlin takes in her work is so inspiring. She has so much passion and determination for what she does. When we received our photos we were littarly speachless, they were beyond remarkable! I'd say Kaitlin is by far one of the best in the business. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to have her as our photographer. Kaitlin was the absolute best and made photo shoot experience a lot of fun! She is super flexible with scheduling and captured some awesome pictures at some of our favorite places in Richmond for our Engagement shoot! She captured so many beautiful moments from our wedding day as well that we look at and admire on a daily basis! Could not have asked for a better photographer! -

Just what we wanted
I am so thankful we were able to work with Kaitlin. She was a joy to work with during the planning. Very organized and very willing to do whatever we needed to make our day special. On the wedding day she helped me feel relaxed and dealt with a very windy day like a pro. She got us our preview album within a couple days and the full gallery a few weeks later. The photos are stunning! Great value, wonderful person. -

Excellent Experience!

Sweet and Supportive
Kaitlin was the sweetest and so easy to work with!! I am so happy I chose her to capture my husband and I's wedding day as effortless eased our anxiety of being behind the camera. She reviewed my timeline and shot list with me several times to make sure everything I envisioned came to fruition!! The most difficult part of this process was choosing which photos to print as I loved ALL OF THEM. -
