Hiring Kaitlyn as our photographer was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! She is sweet, kind, fun to work with, and captured our day in such a raw and real way– including many small but super meaningful moments that I hadn't even realized she was there for when they happened. I'm not a big fan of photographers who drastically edit their photos, so I really admired and appreciated Kaitlyn's photography style and how true the photos look to real life. I wanted to remember our wedding day exactly as it happened, and thanks to Kaitlyn, she was able to freeze time for us on a day that flew by in the blink of an eye through her stunning photos. She was also extremely helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding, helping me to create and adjust our wedding day timeline to ensure that we captured all of the photos we wanted while also leaving time in the schedule to relax and spend time with my husband. I HIGHLY recommend working with Kaitlyn for your wedding! -

Best decision for our wedding
Kaitlyn was everything we could've asked for in a photographer. She was professional, personable, reliable and prompt. She was easy to communicate with, answered all of our questions and helped make the entire wedding process smooth.
Her photographs are amazing and something we are so excited we have for the rest of our lives. She was open to our ideas, provided suggestions and delivered our photos quickly. It was so nice to be able to receive our sneak peaks on our honeymoon and continue the excitement of our wedding!Kaitlyn Bernauer Photography's reply:

Authentic & Amazing
We cannot thank Kaitlyn enough! She’s been with us through our surprise proposal pictures, engagement pictures, and our wedding pictures. On every occasion, she has been professional, creative, and helpful - but, more than that, she found a way to make us feel so comfortable and genuine. She’s fun, cool and chic in a way that captures these big moments in a candid, sweet, and warm way. We knew from the start that finding the right photographer was important and we found one. Kaitlyn was THE photographer.
Kaitlyn is a truly gifted artist, with a great eye. The photos she just sent to us are truly stunning. Her work is real, candid and breathtakingly beautiful. I love that she captured the day as it was, not as we wished it had been. I also asked her to capture the in-between moments that day - and she did so - exquisitely. We really appreciate the work that Kaitlyn did to capture the day (all while rocking a mask).
Right from the start, we loved Kaitlyn’s style - she was upfront in her expectations but totally laid back in her vibe and demeanor.
Kaitlyn was game to travel an hour and a half to take engagement photos at my alma mater and confident in her skills to know that after we booked her for those photos that we would definitely book her for our wedding. I also liked how she structured her pricing, which was fair and reasonable.
And when COVID threw us a curveball, Kaitlyn continued to be chill and super flexible - she ditched her package pricing and created an hourly rate. I really appreciate just how easy it was to work with her. I don’t think you can say the same for every vendor.
In the wedding business, not every vendor is fair or reasonable. Kaitlyn is both of those things - fair and reasonable. We really felt comfortable around Kaitlyn. She was always available to answer questions as the process continued and was essential to building the wedding day timeline. And on our wedding day, she was a rock during some of the more hectic moments of the day, all while being laid back, chill and unobtrusive.
We can’t wait to have Kaitlyn photograph our wedding party (sometime in 2022).
Kaitlyn, thank you for the beautiful photos. When the wedding is over and done, the photos are what you have left. You captured the day so beautifully that we will have those memories captured and remembered for the rest of our lives.

Best Wedding Vendor We Worked With
From our first meeting to our final planning session, from the moment she arrived on wedding morning to the sweet note she shared at the end of our wedding night, from providing our highlight photos in just a few days time and our albums on time, as promised -- Kaitlyn Bernauer was FANTASTIC to work with. Our photos are absolutely spectacular, capturing the intimate, exciting, and surprising moments of our day.
Her eye for those special moments and her attention to detail is spot on. She worked with our vision and our budget. She went above and beyond our expectations, and was by far the best wedding vendor we worked with.

I truly believe I found one of the best photographers in Cleveland; Kaitlyn’s talents have been such a blessing to my husband and I. To be blunt, my now-husband and I aren’t photogenic; for the life of us we cannot to take a good photograph on our own, but now thanks to Kaitlyn’s talent we have an entire albums of amazing engagement and wedding photos that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
During photo sessions, instead of making us pose for photos (yuck) she worked with movement and good lighting, which helped everything look and feel more natural. We keep getting compliments on our photos, and even people telling us that we look like models (HA); all of this is 100% thanks to Kaitlyn!
Also important, Kaitlyn is organized, an excellent communicator, and so on top of everything. She met with Dan and I in person before we booked with her, and then was in constant communication with us leading up to our day. My fiancé (now-husband) and I were pretty clueless about what we wanted, but Kaitlyn helped us pick photo locations, helped with props, helped us make tough choices about how to deal with bad weather, and was friendly and fun to work with through the entire process. She is that type-A personality type who you can trust to make sure every detail is taken care of, and in all my wedding-planning stress, I never once stressed about our photos.
Finally, as far as value/price point; she is worth well-above what we paid her. I wouldn’t say this unless I truly believed it, but she should raise her prices.

Obsessed!!
Kaitlyn was absolutely amazing to work with. She made the whole process soo less stressful from start to finish. It was so helpful how organized she was prior to wedding day and even on our wedding day. Her guidance on what we should do for every part of the day made it so seamless and helped us really enjoy each part of our special day! We just received our photos (which came sooner than initially expected) and I am in awe in how beautiful they are. I couldn’t of asked for a better photographer! Loved all our pictures!
Well, this review is way overdue, life got busy! Just wanted to say that working with Kaitlyn as our wedding photographer was stress free and easy! She is calm which translates into a relaxed photo experience.
