  If we could go back in time and plan our wedding all over again, I would continue to choose to work with KaLa Ketchum Makeup & Hair – without hesitation! KaLa and her team are an absolute delight to work with. Prioritizing the bride’s vision for the wedding day look, KaLa offers a hair/makeup trial session during which she works closely with you to provide consultation, offer suggestions, and experiment with different styles to get your desired look just right! KaLa was graciously open and receptive to my feedback/notes, and she was consistently responsive while we stayed in touch via email during the planning process – all of which I very much appreciated! I truly felt valued while working with KaLa. On the day of the wedding, while getting ready, KaLa’s team flawlessly stayed on schedule for myself and my 4 bridesmaids. KaLa and her team also just very down-to-earth people and so comfortable to hang out with for the numerous hours we all spent getting ready! Friends and family continue to praise how beautiful the bridal party’s hair and makeup looked on the day-of and in photos, with which we wholeheartedly agree! I’m so grateful to KaLa Ketchum Makeup & Hair!!

  Kala made my wedding day dream come true! I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt thanks to Kala! It was such a pleasure to spend the morning and early afternoon with her on my wedding day, laughing and sharing together, and making me feel my best I have ever felt.   KaLa is a great choice for your wedding hair and makeup!

  
  I used KaLa for my wedding makeup and hair and I cannot have been more pleased. We started with a trial in the months leading up, I had a general idea of what I wanted but couldn’t articulate it well at the time. During the trial we were able to figure out my style and make a plan. KaLa is extremely knowledgeable and knew just how to tweak what I wanted when we were in the planning stages. I felt extremely confident in what we decided on and her humor, kindness and flexibility made me ready for the day. On the day of, everything went smoothly and my makeup lasted all through the night, it was just the right amount of coverage I wanted without feeling like I was wearing a ton of product. I have a lot of hair, so getting the right level of wave without me looking like Shirley Temple was big for me, KaLa was able to get my hair exactly how I wanted- and having the trial first definitely ensured that. KaLa is such a vibrant person, who is a professional at this MUA/Hair stuff! I highly recommend her services for your upcoming wedding or big event.

  KaLa is amazing!

  KaLa was so wonderful to work with. She did my bridal hair and makeup on my wedding day as well as H&MU for a few of my bridesmaids. She is so creative and talented and made us all look and feel glamorous! She did my H&MU trial as well a couple months before my wedding, which was helpful to figure out exactly what I wanted for the wedding day. I highly recommend KaLa and her team, and hope to work with her again someday!

  We had a terrific experience with Kayla. She helped make my daughter’s wedding a memorable one.

  Look no further because Kala is the best!!! I just got married and she did the most amazing makeup on me and my whole bridal party. It lasted all day and night, and there was a lot of happy tears and sweat from dancing. She is so sweet and easy to work with. Was on time starting and finishing, and all of my bridal party kept telling me how I found the perfect team because she fit right in and helped make the experience of the day start out so amazing

  KaLa = wonderful MUA, highly recommend!

  KaLa was the MUA for my bridesmaids and I'd highly recommend her to anyone getting married. Very affordable, flexible, and easy to communicate with -- basically everything you want in a vendor when you're planning your own wedding! Highly recommend KaLa.

  Kala and her team were so helpful! They went above and beyond to make sure that I felt comfortable as someone who doesn't ever wear makeup or get my hair done. They were very supportive and gave feedback. They took the feedback I gave them well and incorporated it to make my day-of look spectacular. I can't say enough good things about them!

  Good makeup experience!

  KaLa is very good at what she does! I found her as part of a team to a hairstylist in the area and was very happy with her work! KaLa is very flexible when it comes to making changes to makeup and very easy to talk to. She has a great mindset for the wedding day— a day that’s often filled with stress and business. I really enjoyed working with her!

  Made me look like a princess!

  I can’t say enough good things about KaLa! She made me look and feel like a princess without making it look like I was wearing very much makeup at all. She is super sweet and was also very receptive to all of the slight tweaks I wanted to make to my look. My bridesmaids also raved about her and her assistant stylists. Highly recommend!

  I cannot tell you how very much I loved her hair style it was perfect. The best part is that both men and women complemented me the entire night I wish I had her cards to pass out!

  I hired KaLa to do my hair for the most important day of my life, my wedding day. It turned out FLAWLESS! I couldn't believe how well my hair held up the whole night.. even after dancing for hours!   Kala is an incredibly talented artist. I wasn't completely sure of what I wanted, but she was flexible and able to work with me to make me look fabulous on my wedding day. My make-up and hair were above and beyond what I could have imagined! I've already been recommending her to all of my friends!

Kala absolutely nailed by Bridal look, my hair and makeup were both stunning and exactly what I wanted. On the morning of my wedding I woke up with two huge blemishes on my face and Kala is such a pro that she covered them flawlessly and you couldn't see them at all or in any of my photos!
  Leading up to my wedding she answered all of my questions in a timely manner and was super helpful and easy to communicate with.
  Not only is Kala talented she is such a pleasure to work with, her kind spirit and infectious energy was exactly what I needed on the morning of my wedding.   Talented Artist

  Overall, I had a wonderful wedding hair and make-up experience with KaLa. First, KaLa is very friendly, fun and is pleasant to chat with which made both my trial and wedding day sessions enjoyable. I do not usually wear make-up and have never been quite happy with professional make-up in the past. KaLa really listened to my make-up vision and we had a successful trial. I was extremely pleased with my make-up on my wedding day. My hair trial was successful as well, but KaLa ended up doing a different half-up-half-down on my wedding day that was different from my trial. I did not like this different half-up-half-down so we had to start the style again which put us behind schedule. It was frustrating and stressful to pay for a trial and then have it done differently on my wedding day. Ultimately and most importantly, I was very happy with both my wedding day hair and make-up. KaLa is very talented and I would definitely recommend her.

  Overall, I had a wonderful wedding hair and make-up experience with KaLa. First, KaLa is very friendly, fun and is pleasant to chat with which made both my trial and wedding day sessions enjoyable. I do not usually wear make-up and have never been quite happy with professional make-up in the past. KaLa really listened to my make-up vision and we had a successful trial. I was extremely pleased with my make-up on my wedding day. My hair trial was successful as well, but KaLa ended up doing a different half-up-half-down on my wedding day that was different from my trial. I did not like this different half-up-half-down so we had to start the style again which put us behind schedule. It was frustrating and stressful to pay for a trial and then have it done differently on my wedding day. Ultimately and most importantly, I was very happy with both my wedding day hair and make-up. KaLa is very talented and I would definitely recommend her.

  Vey unprofessional

  Please do not hire her. I contacted her about three months ago. She said that she was available. I send her pictures of makeup and hairdo. We agree to do a trial. At two month of the wedding she sends me this email:
  "Hi Alicia,
  Wow sounds like you have a lot going on with school and all the Wedding details.
  I am Just realizing something really troubling, I Have made a big over sight, I have Your date already booked. I had dates mixed up with this other Bride..and then as I was going thru my Contracts, I noticed I had your Date already set with her. She has already done a trial and contract. I don't normally get my wires crossed like this, but I managed to write her date in wrong. I am feeling so sick about this, as I know You are so busy and don't need to have to deal with finding a new Artist now. I apologize for this so much!
  I can see if I can find someone that I have worked with before to see if they are free. I apologize and am feeling really bad for the mix up.

  Con you imagined how I feel now? I have to look for another stylist in short notice for the most important day of my life. The minimum that I professional should have is an agenda where she can write down all her appointments. How can be that she sign another person and totally forget it!

  I absolutley understand your frustration and again I exstend my deepest apology for making this booking mistake with You.
  After I discovered the problem, I immediately contacted my #1 referral to see if she is available and emailed you first thing to give you her info. As she was able. I understand how disappointed you are, and you rightfully should be. I can only say sometimes People do makes mistakes and oversights and unfortunately this did happened. I sincerely hope you will want to work with my referral. She is amazing. I have to say This hasn't happened before & i take my business very seriously, knowing how important this Day is. I am very sorry for adding more stress to Your plate.
