    WOW! So pleased.

    Wow! That is all I can say. I spent 8 MONTHS planning a wedding with KBNY and come away in awe. Not only could she walk us through all of the different steps in our event planning, on the big day so that my husband and I could focus on getting married instead of managing a large event. If you are a person who feels like a wedding planner is an unjustifiable expense and you can do it yourself, think again. I originally was one of those people and am SO GLAD that I chose Karen.

    Were it not for her, I would remember my wedding as a stressful occasion of managing people and resources. Who arranged refrigeration for a surprise groom's cake and supervised its delivery to the reception? Who meticulously planned out a seamless transition between the band, emcee and other musicians so that I can could dance to live music with my father after the emcee and DJ announced our song? Who played damage control when the wedding cake was not delivered to specifications? KBNY handled this all. I did not even know about everything that went on behind the scenes until after the best day of my life as I was allowed to bask in the glow of having friends and family from all over the world in one room to celebrate.

    Karen and her assistant Deneen were so, so wonderful in helping me coordinate and carry out my wedding. She made me feel so heard, and did so much work behind the scenes so that my fiance and I could really enjoy celebrating with our friends and family. She thought of a million little details that would have never occurred to me but that turned out to be essential, and she executed everything exactly how we wanted it, but better. She was so thoughtful about our families, too. I did not think that I would ever hire a wedding coordinator, but as soon as I talked to Karen for the first time I could not believe I had not done it earlier. It was the most important part of the wedding because it allowed us to actually be present rather than managing stuff with the venue throughout the night. Thank you Karen :)

    Karen Brown was wonderful to work with and I don't think our wedding would have been so successful without her!

    She was lovely to work with from the very first planning meeting up through the very end of the wedding! First, she had great recommendations for New York based vendors, and therefore, I recommend engaging with her from the beginning. She asked the right questions and kept us on top of our checklist. Day of the wedding she was organized, knew every answer to every one of my questions and was the exact right balance of involved but not at all pushy (very important quality in a wedding planner!)! Everything was well timed and well executed! Her assistants were great too!

    The families and bridal parties all found Karen wonderful to work with and my mother in law was especially happy that Karen took the time to work with her on an issue we had with the transportation vendor after the wedding. Thank you, Karen! Highly recommend!

    I cannot say enough good things about Karen and her team. She is such a sweetheart who is super professional. I used her 2 week/day of wedding coordinator services and had the pleasure of having her and George on site for my rehearsal and wedding day. I didn't have to stress at all going into my wedding day, knowing that Karen had been in touch with all of my vendors. She was a text, email or phone call away and always got back to me within the hour. Truly incredible for someone as busy as herself! On the day of the wedding Karen helped to keep me calm and made sure my groom and I had some time for ourselves. I would recommend this service to every bride out there!!

    Excellent! Friendly, kind, professional, and detail oriented

    To anybody thinking to themselves - "self, do I need a day-of wedding coordinator?" - let me confirm to you that yes, yes you do. The fact is that it's one of the most incredible days of your life, but it's also a complete logistical bear. And you want to be spending time with your friends and family, not dealing with caterers, venue staff, PA systems, etc. So now that we agree on that:

    Karen was absolutely essential for making our wedding one of the best days of my life. We chatted with Karen months in advance, but only started working more directly with her team 2 weeks before our wedding, which was exactly what we needed (we chose this more limited time frame, but she's got a lá carte options where she'll work with you many months out if that's your thing). Karen was everything we were looking for - detail oriented, kind, specific, tireless, and - importantly - really lovely to spend time around. She and her wonderful staff made our day what it was.

    Wedding Planner Extraordinaire

    Karen is an absolute pro. Our wedding was perfect. Thanks to Karen, I didn't need to worry about anything and actually got to enjoy the day. I started working with Karen almost a year in advance. From helping us find the perfect venue to negotiating contracts with vendors to get us the best rate, Karen had everything covered. But it wasn't until the weeks leading up to the wedding and the day of that I realized how much work and planning Karen had put into making sure that everything would be perfect. I especially appreciated how Karen handled coordination of our wedding party and families, personally reaching out to everyone, making sure that all questions were answered and calming nerves when needed! The few bumps in the road that did occur I only learned about after the fact as Karen took care of everything. She even impressed my impossible to please father! Karen is very professional, creative, personable and incredibly genuine. She truly cares about her clients and gives everyone 100%. I'm not surprised her business is growing so quickly...book her while you can!

    Karen is a true gem. She will ensure everything about your wedding is everything you'd hoped and asked for. Whatever you thought you might need her for but weren't sure, trust me, you need her. Just hire her for the whole shebang - you'll thank yourself later. She's a joy to be around and knows how to keep track of all the details and make things happen from beginning to end.

    I just go married this past October, and Karen was everything I needed her to be for my wedding! Even though we didn't have a typical wedding and didn't need a lot of planning, Karen started working with us for a whole year and made sure we were having fun and stress-free during the whole planning process. There was a huge problem with the florist all the way up to the day of the wedding, and I didn't even know the problem existed until after the wedding. Karen took care of all the problems on her own, and I was able to have the best time on my wedding day. Having a great wedding planner like karen really made a huge difference. I have been a bridesmaid for many of my friends who planned their own wedding, and they all went through a very stressful planning process. I will definitely have Karen plan all of my future events, and I strongly recommend her for any events you are looking to have!

    I have had the pleasure to work with Karen Brown on two occasions. As a co-owner of a PR firm, my partner and I brought in Karen to help us execute a high-stakes PR stunt and cocktail party. Karen was responsible for a difficult build out with an artist and general contractor. She also managed the party effortlessly. She gets her hands dirty with planning and set up, and then she's one of the brightest spots in the room when it's go time.

    When I started to plan my wedding (Dec. 2013), Karen was the only person that I trusted. We had an aggressive schedule as my husband and I picked a date six months after our engagement. She was an incredible leader throughout the process. Her experience was invaluable as she was a disciplined planner, yet I was most impressed by her eye. I trusted her opinion on all of our aesthetic decisions, and she brought so much creativity and spirit to our day. The little details really make her stand out. She manages to take spontaneous, professional-quality photos of you when you least expect it. And she somehow knows exactly how to coach you.

    Thanks to all of her thoughtful planning, my husband and I were able to fully enjoy our wedding day and stay in the moment. We had already thought through all of the minutia and we knew that Karen was keeping us on target throughout the day. We are so grateful.

    For almost two years, Karen Brown firmly stuck with me in making my wedding a reality. My husband and I got married on a perfect weekend in April 2013 in Brooklyn. The wedding went on without a hitch and it was better than anything I imagined. Our guests keep saying that it was one of coolest weddings they've ever been to. Karen is a master, planning for all possibilities no matter what happened, including a change in my wedding date and location and me suddenly having to move to a new city 300 miles away. She seriously saved the day when our photographer canceled the night before, finding another one instantly. We were SO grateful! Plus Karen handled this crisis on her own before she told me that morning so that I didn't freak out. I was engaged for a long time because I was always too busy. Karen made it easier by preparing a neat folder of all the info I needed and discussing the big picture. All my husband and I really wanted was a small casual party with good food, and Karen helped us develop a creative concept that fit our small budget. Being a former designer, she knows how to design good-looking events well, and she really took the time to understand us and our needs. Karen also had a great way of helping me see answers more clearly when I'm indecisive about things. Most importantly for me, since I was so busy, was that she created a personalized monthly checklist of pre-wedding to-dos and followed up with me regularly for more than a year to make sure I created a guest list, bought my dress, etc. When we were touring venues, she took time out of her day to come with us and asked them important questions that I didn't even think of. She also coordinated the day and worked with the vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. Karen is organized and also very conscientious in everything she does, and she's so pleasant to work with on top of all that! I had quite an exciting adventure with Karen Brown and wholeheartedly recommend her!
