  I hate having my picture taken and Karen made it the most enjoyable experience possible. She hugely facilitated planning the best photo ops, came up with incredibly creative ideas for pictures and seemed to be everywhere at once during the big event. She was absolutely spectacular!

  If you need a photographer - choose Karen. She has the ability to capture the moments you want with the best lighting, background, and emotion to go along with it. We did a first look and photo shoot before our ceremony. We had a blast and she gave us the tips we needed to make our pictures come out just the way we wanted them. She was so fun and personable, and the best part was that we could trust her - we could trust her with one of the most important days of our lives and she captured every memorable moment. We look back at the slideshow often and are able to truly relive our day and those precious flits of pure love. I give a lot of credit to Karen for helping make our day so spectacular.

  Karen's years of experience definitely was a huge plus for us. She knew all the right shots to take and we are extremely happy with her work. You won't be disappointed.

  I cannot recommend Karen enough. Two years later, and I still sing her praises. Wedding photography is expensive, but everyone agrees it's worth it. Karen was recommended to me, and I could see why well before she snapped the first picture. She took the time to understand us as a couple, made helpful suggestions where warranted, and was the consummate professional before, during, and even after our wedding.

  When my partner and I started planning our wedding, we only had one definite vendor in mind - Karen Pike. Karen is an incredibly talented photographer, and she keeps it all fun while still getting the best shots. She made us feel completely at ease and everything turned out perfectly! I would recommend her to anyone.

  Karen is the best. She is friendly, professional, and an outstanding photographer. We felt like we had know her forever, as a friend before the wedding took place. No awkward poses or uncomfortable moments.

  I am so thankful to Karen for all she did to help make my wedding day a huge success. I haven't even seen my final pictures yet and I feel compelled to write a review! She is such a professional, with a real understanding of how to capture great photos yet not be too intrusive. I never felt bombarded by her, which I have experienced in other weddings in which I have been a bridesmaid. I strongly encourage brides to take advatage of the engagement photo session - we were not able to and I think we missed out on learning more of her style and testing out our own poses prior to the wedding. She offers this in her package - so it's not extra! The photo albums of hers that we have seen are gorgeous. I loved working with her - she is a real person - cares a lot about capturing the best photos from your wedding. She is also very involved in non-profit work in Vermont .. so if you think her prices are high (I didn't, I think they are spot on) just remember, she makes her money from wedding work so she can work with non-profits and other organizations that can't afford her services. I think it is important to know where your money is going - this is responsible spending! Call her!!!!

  Karen is AMAZING! She is so talented, so professional and is someone you would love to just go grab a beer with. She was so accomadating and really took the time to get to know me and my husband before the wedding to really get a feel for what we wanted and needed.
  She was just so positive and reassuring and got so many great shots! Whenever I show the photos to people they are just blown away. During the wedding she and her assistant were just in all the right places at the right times but you didn't even realize they were there! It was great.
  The photographer was one of the vendors I cared most about - I mean, your wedding lasts a day but the photos last forever - so I did A LOT of digging and researching before finally finding Karen and she lived up to and exceeded every expectation. I would fully recommend her to ANYONE and EVERYONE that is looking for a brilliant, talented photographer who makes you feel like you just made a great friend and got an awesome wedding album in the process!
  Just be sure to brace yourself - she costs a pretty penny, but she is SO worth it, I promise! And just to clarify, the only reason I didn't give a 5 on responsiveness is because she is really busy so you can't expect to be able to reach her at any given moment, but all in all, she will certainly get back to you as soon as she can.
